Yes!!! Prodigal son was soooo good! Malcolm Bright deserved better. And Ainsley too. The dynamics were so good I’m actually getting irritated again because I had heard the show could have been picked up by Netflix but it never happened😭 so much unresolved plot😭 I’m heartbroken again lol

Gil stepping up as a parental figure, like I can't even begin to describe how much I adore found family or in this case the family that chooses you and you love them back. And the dynamic that he shares with his team, especially Edrisa, is very veryyy dear to me like I would fight for them. They are just sooo *incoherent mumbling and crying*

I think this is one of those shows where I genuinely loved the mother, because Jessica Whitly is not a plain character. She has her fears and yet she's just as unhinged if it's about her children or anyone she genuinely cares for. She's sassy too, I love that. I think being sassy and unhinged is a genetic thing in the Whitly family.

As I'm writing about them now, I miss them more. I remember watching it daily when it aired. What made it stand out from most shows, for me, is that it has a protagonist who is utterly haunted but it does not stop him from being absolutely hilarious. In fact, any other show would've made him stoic and something stereotypical. Distanced, so to speak. But everytime he's on screen, it feels like he's alive; we are not mere spectators. We feel his grief, his desperation to be his own person, his love, friendship, everything.

This makes him and every character on this show special.

My top favorite shows, in no particular order:-

Okay I'm going to go a little out of order but you have watched Evil?!

I completely agree!! It was so fun because you actually never know whether it was the work of something demonic or just some elaborate plan of a cult that was inducing mind breaks in them. Usually, I am able to like the villains of a show, even if it's just a little bit. But Leland and the mother? Especially Leland? Infuriating. You know what, it's the both of them.

Ohh I absolutely agree!! When I got to know about how strict the rules were, I was genuinely shocked. Like what do you mean they can't have a life?? And I have heard about that idol!! I don't remember his name but apparently he got hate for that. It made me realize that there are actual delusional fans. Yikes.

AYEEEEE I mean it's Agust D. There's no competition. There can't be. He's nicknamed 'Hand of Midas' for a reason. And I absolutely love his frankness. Plus he's such a sweetheart😭😭💜

My bias, ever since I laid eyes on him(my best friend, who's an army and who got me into kpop sent me the mv for BS&T), has been Namjoon. When I first got into BTS, I was like oh he's baby but ooo boy, I was in for a surprise because Baepsae Namjoon hit me like a sledgehammer. My bias wrecker is Jimin (also saw him in the mv for the first time). He's so precious and mischievous, I loveee it. And there's a softness to him. Having known them for some time, I understand that that softness comes from being emotionally and mentally strong.

For the shows because I just need to talk(yap) about them-

●Supernatural- DEAN DESERVED BETTER like what the hell?? I was mad. Hasn't this man gone through enough??

●The Devil Judge- Truee trueee😭 bless the writers🙂‍↕️💖

●I haven't finished watching the Untamed but that's certainly interesting! Some shows just have that vibeee. For me, The Devil Judge would be summer transitioning into autumn.

●Lucifer- That was the best thing to happen during that season!! Maze and Eve are so adorableee. Can they easily annihilate me? Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that they are cute🙂‍↕️

●Sherlock- Yesss, I know about the show and the SuperWhoLock phenomenon

●After watching Lee Dong Wook in Strangers from Hell, I searched for more shows. I watched Bad and Crazy and I was GONE. Sanity who?

●I haven't watched Goblin BUT I have seen people being more invested in the Goblin/Grim Reaper dynamic👀

●Kill me, Heal me- I added it to my watch list!! I remember seeing your reblogs and I am so excited to watch it!

●The Vampire Diaries- Now, the only reason I know about this show is because I was watching a funny moments compilation of SPN, and Damon's edit (a chaotic, thirsty one) was in queue. Aaand, I fell down the rabbit hole. Damon Salvatore, logically, is not a good choice but who cares? *insert the shrugging emoticon* As for the crossover fics, I have heard about the Damon and Dean ones👀👀

●Criminal Minds- I have to watch this showw now. Added to my watch list!

Dean and Damon fighting would be such a visual treat though. Even the actors know each other, so maybe if we wish for it hard enough...👀👀

I love Tae for that!! His visuals would make a lot of people think that he's the charming, brooding type. But in fact he's so dynamic and FUNNY. And the bond that he shares with each member is everything to me😭💜 He's a great friend, of that I'm sure.

True trueee, they are very candid. They don't try to overdo it. Sure, in some cases they have to put on a show because it's part of the job. But something about them feels refreshing. I remember Jungkook (I think it was him) going live at night. He was on the street and he called out a sasaeng on camera. It was so satisfying to watch🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Awwww reading this is making me tear up😭😭💜💜💜 Sameee I love them all. You really put into words what I feel so well💜 Joon wanted to be a musician but there were so many other responsibilities that he had to shoulder. I think if it would've been someone else, they would quit. He truly is one of the pillars of the group. Jimin is the glue of Bangtan. And yes, I hope they get that breathing space to be themselves after they come back💜💖

●Lee Dong Wook- I knowww, I've been seeing edits and gifsets here and HOLY CANNOLI. I'll add this tooo. Bad and Crazy is a fave for me too. I think I'm drawn to chaotic energy. As for the romance, I wasn't even bothered about the age gap because they didn't even have chemistry. I think that was more alarming. Like he had more chemistry with K (Wi Ha Jun) in a episode than what he had going on with the female lead throughout the entire show.

In my case it was purely unintentional😭 I don't remember the grade I was in, but I do remember it was time for the Oscars. So all the movie channels aired nominated or award winning movies. This also coincided with my holidays and that's how mom and I ended up watching the Godfather trilogy until 2 in the morning. For her it had been a rewatch, but for me ooo boyyy it was an experience🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Vidya Balan: As a kid, watching her in Bhool Bhulaiya was terrifying(it's a psychological thriller) But now, it just makes me love her more. Even though I am not an avid movie watcher, I have always loved the roles she played! From a woman who wants to carve out her own place in life by being a RJ (Tumhari Sulu) to being a woman so meticulous that she left the police dumbfounded (Kahaani), the range is insane

Shin Ha-kyun: I have never been the same since I watched Beyond Evil. Like, how can someone portray so much pain and make it HURT??? Also, he has been my celebrity crush since then :3 I am so excited about the new drama he'll be starring in!!

Matthew Macfadyen: AAAAAAAA he's been a favorite since I saw him as Mr. Darcy😩 Plus his acting in Succession was off the charts, so I'll start watching it for him :>

Meg Ryan: I have watched only two movies with her in the main role and I loved it! (Does that count??)

Aahh that explains why I was uneasy with them being together in a romantic sense. Somehow I get the feeling the writers might play at a romantic angle in part 2. However, I feel that Ethan and Grace's dynamic should be kept as that of a mentor and mentee because in the movie it seemed that Ethan saw something in Grace. Something that was a part of him long ago.
