chromeskull x serial killer reader x the collector and we add ghostface? not movie ghostface, DBD ghostface.

Danny and reader were already together and know that each other are serial killers but Jesse and Asa do not.

I feel like it would be funny for Danny and reader to be caught in the act over something stupid and Asa and Jesse are the ones to catch them.

It's the middle of the and Danny and y/n slip out of the back door of their shared house. thinking that they didn't not wake their other two lover. little did they know the two men were never asleep to begin with. Jesse was worried and wanted to know what the two were up too. Danny and y/n get in the car all gear packed and ready of the nights horror feast. They leave. Jesse dragged Asa to the car to follow after them.

they arrive at a house and parked a safe distance away from Danny's car. They are gone for hours then two masked people get in the car. Jesse was about to pounce but Asa stopped him and picked up his phone to call them. "hey, where are you guys?" Asa asked. "we are a burger king because I want nuggets even though y/n say they are better at mcdonald's." Danny quickly came up with a lie." Okay." Asa and Jesse saw the masked man talk into the phone. Asa got out of the car and so did Jesse."are you in a car ?" Danny asked trying to mask with worry."No." Asa once again answered. they crept closer to the other car making sure they were none the wiser. Jesse moved to the passenger window. " Get me and Jesse something from there will you. I would like a chicken sandwich." Asa told Danny." What does Jesse want?" Danny asked." ask him yourself." Asa could the child like screams that came from both grown as adults. " Holy fucking shit Jesse!" y/n yelled from inside the car. Asa and jesse were quick to hop in the back of the car. lots of question were asked that night and common hobbies were discovered. What a bloody Valentine<3

What's it lime being best friends with the slashers? The friendship could've happened before some of the slashers went all murdery or after :]

Being Best Friends with the Slashers:

Thomas Hewitt

You have been friends since childhood. You had met in school, you had been the only one to approach him with any kind words. He was the primary victim of bullying in school but you gave him a chance and met the sweet kid that he truly was.

It's the two of you against the world. Ever since your first meeting in school, it's been the two of you. The bullies soon started bullying you as well, for being friends with Thomas, but you never seemed to mind too much. As long as you and Tommy had each other, you would get through anything. It wasn't long before Thomas started growing, quickly becoming the biggest kid in school and therefore the most intimidating. If anyone dared to say a bad word about you, they'd get an intimidating glare from Thomas and soon back off. But he always believed that it was him who needed you more than you needed him, you were his rock.

You are an unofficial Hewitt. You met the family during the later years of school, when you're parents let you walk home alone and you could go to your friend's house. Luda May loved you and treated you as her own, Hoyt and Monty were more neutral but admittedly it was nice that Thomas had somebody outside of the family. Luda May tells you pretty consistently that you are family.

You're offered a place in their home if you don't want to leave town. Once you're adults, you don't lose touch or grow apart. It's still the two of you against the world. So, when everyone starts leaving the dying town, the Hewitts offer you a place in their home. If you accept the offer, you might as well change your name to Hewitt because you definitely are one.

If you did leave town with the others, you come back to see Thomas and are welcomed back with open arms. While it would hurt, Thomas would understand if you left town when everyone else did, wanting you to have a good life. He's more surprised when you end up on their doorstep, coming to visit them. The whole family accept you back with open arms, especially Thomas (who is absolutely overjoyed to see you again), and if you want to stay this time, Luda May still has your room ready for you.

Michael Myers

You were his only real friend in childhood. He was a pretty quiet kid, nothing too alarming but quiet. Still, you wormed your way into his life until you were actually his friend and he liked having you around. You shared your sweets and toys with him, you told him silly jokes and stories. It was nice to have a friend like you. Then...that one Halloween came around and you watched your best friend be taken away, dressed in the costume you helped him pick and splattered with blood.

Once you were old enough, you began visiting him in Smiths Grove. Of course, your parents never allowed you to visit but once you were old enough to make that decision yourself, you would visit regularly. Michael remembered you, his only friend, and recognised you instantly despite how much you changed. However, you're surprised by how much he changed. Still, he was quiet, silent as you rambled on nervously. After your first meeting didn't go particularly well, staff assumed you wouldn't show your face again, but you visited once a week, your visits then becoming even more frequent. Going to see him whenever you could, falling into a more comfortable companionship.

You're the only person he trusts and Dr Loomis is fascinated by it. Loomis nearly scoffed at you when you first came to visit, nearly laughed at you when you got no response from the stoic man. But you didn't give up easy and every time you came back, the more comfortable Michael seemed to become, until he was communicating with you. Not necessarily talking, but communicating. The doctor couldn't believe what he was seeing, it was like a miracle.

Once he escapes, he comes to you for refuge. You're woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of somebody in your house, you're afraid until you see it's Michael. Just your friend, Michael Myers. It's the first time you hug him since you were kids, since Smiths Grove wouldn't allow that. Michael was tense at first but slowly relaxed into your embrace, not hugging you back but relaxing substantially. At some point, Dr Loomis does show up at your door, believing Michael might seek you out, but you play dumb, telling him that you haven't seen him but you heard about his escaped and hoped he was alright. That just confirms to Michael that he can trust you, just like he could when you were kids.

Jason Voorhees

You were his only friend at camp, always so kind to him. The first day at camp, you had come to his rescue, cutely scolding the other kids and befriending Jason. You didn't care about the way he looked, you didn't ask 'what was wrong with him', you just accepted him as he was and absolutely made his summer. The two of you quickly became close, practically attached at the hip, but you couldn't always be there for him...and you couldn't be there for him on that one faithful day by the lake. You had heard the commotion too late, when you were searching for Jason, and by the time you had reached the end of the dock, it was too late. You called for the camp counsellors, searched wildly for them, tears streaming down your face. You never returned to the camp after that summer.

You never forgot him, visiting the camp after it shut down to pay your respects by the lake. Once the camp shut down, your parents agreed to take you to the camp to say goodbye to your friend. When you became old enough to go by yourself, you did, every year on the anniversary of his death.

His mother loves you. Ever since you became his friend, she was fond of you. After his death, seeing you come to the camp every year, it warmed her heart and was glad somebody cared for her son as much as she did.

He'll gather up the courage to approach you eventually. It's been a couple of years of Jason watching from the treeline as you visit the lake, often with flowers and kind words. Of course, he remembered you. Every time he saw you, he wanted to approach you, to pull you into a hug, his one friend...but he was worried you would be afraid, he wouldn't blame you. But he swore to himself that would eventually gather up the courage to approach you and reunite.

Brahms Heelshire

You were childhood best friends. Your families knew each other and they would often take you to the Heelshire manner with them. So, you and Brahms spent a lot of time together and became close friends. Then there was the fire and you stopped going to the Heelshire manner. You were both still young and your parents decided against telling you the full story, all you knew was that you didn't see Brahms again and you missed him.

When you're older, you visit the Heelshires and they eventually let you in on their secret. They're pleasantly surprised to see you but are hesitant to let you in at first. But they do, and the three of you catch you, you apologise for their loss (your parents telling you about Brahms' death once you got a little older) and confess that you still miss Brahms. Obviously, the speak with him and he wants to see you. They're hesitant at first but can't say no to their son, so they let you know the truth about what happened.

You're not leaving, but you don't really want too. When Brahms pleads with you to not leave him alone, to not leave him again, you can't say no. Your best friend was alive and standing right in front of you, you didn't plan on leaving him again anytime soon. And the Heelshires welcome you into their home.

The Heelshires are content leaving their son with you. His parents are still set on the idea of leaving for good, unable to live with the secrets they had to keep all these years, but they trust that you will take care of him as the friend you are. They leave their son a note, but they also leave you one, explaining everything, apologising, and pleading that you look after Brahms. He's your best friend, you're the only person he has, of course you'll look after him.

Bo Sinclair

You became the only person in Ambrose that he completely trusted. Bo never made friends easily, despite his natural charm his anger could get the better of him, but you didn't let it bother you. You were persistent and were soon calling him your friend. He didn't trust anyone, couldn't rely on his parents, couldn't share those feelings with his brothers, but he had you. You listened, you understood. And he became pretty protective over you, being his only friend. He's selfish and you're his friend, he wouldn't let anyone change that. Despite the two of you being so close, you never get invited to his house but after hearing some stories and the origin behind his scars, you understand why.

Your family likely doesn't approve of your friendship. Bo doesn't exactly have a good reputation and everyone freely lets you know that they think he's a bad influence on you. You don't care though, Bo is your best friend and you know him better than anyone, probably even his parents or brothers.

Pretended that leaving didn't bother him but he had never been so angry. When the three brothers were taken from Ambrose after their parents' death, you were heartbroken. Bo was cold about it when he told you, like he didn't care, but you knew him better than that. Even when you embraced him, telling him that you'll miss him, he just mumbles a 'yeah' before leaving you alone in Ambrose. Despite his coldness, he's hurt. He didn't care for Ambrose or its residents but he would miss you, you were his friend.

Tries to act unbothered when you return to Ambrose but he couldn't even put into words how happy he was to see you. He is beyond surprised when you return to the run down town when you're both adults. He recognised you almost instantly adn you recognised him, a bright smile breaking out over your face. He hadn't changed all that much, greeting you in a charmingly sarcastic and teasing way, but you didn't care. After he left, you couldn't get him out of your mind, where he had ended up, how he was, if he was still with his brothers. You never really expected him to end up back in Ambrose but here he was and you couldn't contain your excitement over seeing your best friend from so many years ago.

Vincent Sinclair

You are his only friend, practically family in his eyes. Vincent never really had friends outside of his family, he had his brothers and his parents, but his mother kept him pretty sheltered and other kids tended to shy away from him because of his appearance. But you were different, you decided that you wanted to be his friend and nothing was going to stop you. Ever since then, the two of you had been the best of friends. Admittedly, it took Vincent some time to come out of his shell but he got there eventually and you were a surprisingly patient kid.

Teaches you everything his mother taught him. You once complimented his mask with sincerity rather than mockery and that inspired Vincent to show you how his mother made it. And so you were let in on all the family secrets of working with wax.

Heartbroken when he had to leave Ambrose for so many reasons. His parents had died, he was being torn away from him home, taken away from his best friend, he just hoped he would get to remain with his brothers. He had told you what was happening with tears in his eyes, embracing you rightly before having to leave.

Extremely anxious but also delighted when you return to Ambrose. He recognised you almost instantly, even after all these years your kindness and friendship went unmatched. He was nervous about you discovering what the brothers had become but more than anything, he was thrilled to see you again. He had always wondered what had happened to you, where you had gone after Ambrose, always hoped you were well.

Lester Sinclair

You were the one person he could always go to. His parents often had their hands full with the twins, always making him feel a little left behind, but he had you. You were always there to listen to him, to make him laugh, you were undeniably his best friend. Lester would get genuinely excited to see you, to know he gets to spend the day with you, to feel like a number one priority from time to time. The friendship isn't one-sided at all, though. Lester is always there for you, no matter what.

The two of you would always get into trouble. The two of you loved to wander around outside of town, often coming home dirty but more than happy. The two of you could always find something to entertain yourselves, you could have fun inside an empty room. It was like a gift you both had.

Had to be pried away from you when they left Ambrose. He was a little younger than his brothers, maybe that's why he was so emotional, or maybe he would just miss his best friend. Either way, the two of you had been crying, clinging to each other. Lester had to be pulled away and helped into the car. Neither of you thought you would ever see each other again.

Won't hesitate to embrace you when you reunite. When he sees you on the side of the road near Ambrose, he completely freezes, he can't believe his eyes. He says your name before he can even think straight, it takes you a moment but you recognise him, instantly grinning. At the acknowledgement, Lester embraces you, confessing that he missed you. You felt the same, embracing him in return despite the smell of roadkill on him. Admittedly, it didn't look like he was doing too well after leaving Ambrose but he was back and he seemed happy, and that's all you cared about.

Bubba Sawyer

The two of you are never apart. You and Bubba are the closest two friends can be, if one of you is around the other isn't far behind. You're one of the family, even his brothers like you, but you're very clearly Bubba's best friend. You understand him like nobody else and you get along together than either of you do with anyone else.

No matter your age, you act like an older sibling to him. Even if you're younger than him, you behave like an older sibling. You're always there for him, you look out for him. His brothers couldn't dare say anything even remotely bad about Bubba, because you would be right there to put them back into their place. Nobody talked bad about your bestie.

Doing a lot of crafts together. Bubba is very creative and if you enjoy creating things as well, it is definitely your favourite thing to do together. It's calming. He will teach you everything he knows, since he is used to working with non-traditional materials, and you will teach him anything you know.

He is fiercely protective over you. You might be protective over him but he's just as protective over you. He knows how dangerous his home alone is, and he wouldn't let any of his brothers harm you in anyway. He gets most protective when trespassers are around, you're his best friend and he doesn't want you to be involved, he certainly doesn't want you to get yourself into trouble.

Billy Lenz

You become his world, you're the only person he has. He hadn't thought you would be any different when you first moved into his home, but you would eventually prove him wrong. He couldn't even remember how it happened at this point but you had become dear friends, you had been the patient and reassuring shoulder to cry on that he needed.

A very clingy friend. Like I said, you're the only person he has, so it's no wonder that he can be so clingy. In general, he's a person in much need for support and companionship and you've happily signed up for the role. But that doesn't mean that you're friendship is one sided, he's always there for you and is willing to listen about anything that is bothering you.

Overall, you have a very positive effect on him and his life. It's incredible how much of an impact you have on his life. You give him something to rely on, you even manage to get him out of the house. Of course, your friendship can't solve all his problems but you're always there to try.

People will probably assume you're dating just because of how close you are. If you talked to somebody about your friendship, how close you are and how much time you spend together, they're bound to speculate that there is something more going on despite the fact that you're friendship is purely platonic.

Asa Emory (The Collector)

He keeps you at a distance at first. Asa has acquaintances, other professors and members of staff at work, but he wouldn't call any of them a friend. None of them have been to his house, none of them know him well, other than some polite conversation he makes to keep up his image. Somehow, unknown to him, you had wormed your way into his life. He enjoyed conversations with you, you seemed to be able to see through his act without knowing the full truth.

You're his only genuine friend. Eventually he gives in to your friendship, accepting that he enjoys your company. You're the one person he complains to about his colleagues or students, the two of you just get along surprisingly well. Still, he feels a need to assess you to some extent, to understand you, to be able to predict your next move.

Being let in on his secret hobby. After so long, if he thinks you can be trusted (only when he is completely sure you'll understand), he will show you the hotel and all his projects. Of course, if it turns out that you're unable to handle it, your friendship will be coming to an abrupt end. However, if you react the way he hopes you will, it only brings you closer as friends.

Practically partners in crime now. Once you've been introduced to his world, you're in on it. Maybe that was his plan all along, because Asa is definitely just as manipulative with his friends as he is with anyone else. He can admit, it's rather nice to share this part of his life with somebody who understands.

Jesse Cromeans (Chromeskull)

You started off as an employee. To be best friends with Jesse, you need to know about that part of his life otherwise you really don't know him at all. As an employee, he could trust you and rely on you. You were different than his other employees, you weren't afraid of him but you respected him, you would joke with him, he liked your presence.

Now he never goes on a trip without you. You're his closest friend, his only real friend that he truly trusts, so you're always by his side. He wouldn't like the idea of spending a work trip with anyone but you make things easier, you stay on top of everything and amuse him with your complaints about your other co-workers.

You've met his wife. Jesse doesn't mix his person and professional life but you overlap these lives. You've been to his house, met his wife, had dinner with them, he trusts you to see that part of his world. You help keep his secrets, both of you sticking to a well rehearsed story of what the two of you do for work.

Lots of inside jokes. The two of you only have to share a glance to know what the other is thinking, trying not to laugh to yourselves. Spann is more annoyed that you have become a more trusted employee than she has. Preston hates your friendship because the two of you are always sharing amused glances when he is trying to talk about something. You always stay in his office after a meeting so you can both complain about it together before getting back to work.

Otis Driftwood

You knew the Firefly family and your world got turned upside down when Otis showed up. You lived in the same area though the Firefly residence was pretty out of the way from anything else. You knew Baby and her family, they were eccentric, but everything changed when Otis showed up. He was accepted into the family quickly, just as you had been, and he turned everything upside down. Still, the two of you hit it off quickly.

The two of you just mesh together well. Whether you match his energy or you're a lot calmer than him and help ground him, the two of you just clicked. You were pretty much down for anything, happy to join Otis on his impulsive road trips or visits to dodgy places.

You are inseparable. You're family, nobody would argue with that, but you and Otis are particularly close. You have an endless amount of inside jokes and shared stories. You can do things independently but everything is just so much more fun with your best friend by your side.

Most importantly, you can rely on each other. In the lifestyle you both live, the only people you can rely on is family, but you know that you have each other's back no matter what. If you're ever in trouble, you know that he'll be there for you. If he's going to prison, you're going to be the one breaking him out.

Baby Firefly

You are family, even Mama says so. If there is one thing that is nondebatable, it's that you are an honorary Firefly. You're welcome in their home at any time, pretty much moving in at this point. Mama sees you as just another one of her children, Otis sees you as another annoying sibling. You're Baby's best friend, so it's no wonder that you're around nearly constantly, the two of you can't be pried away from each other.

Absolute chaos. Considering Baby's idea of fun, the two of you are always getting into trouble even if it's only on the mildly illegal side. It's rare that the two of you settle for a quiet night in, even if you enjoy them, since Baby will somehow manage to convince you to go out with her. Even on the occasions you are doubtful, you end up enjoying yourself.

She's protective of you. The life of the Fireflys are filled with danger, meaning that you're going to be dragged into it no matter how much you try to distance yourself from their...hobbies. So, she always makes sure that no harm comes to you. Whether it's people the family knows, the law, or random people at the sketchy places you visit with her. You're her best friend, family, she won't let anything harm you.

Yautja (Predator)

A strange friendship in the eyes of your peers. The two of you met on a station were humans and Yautjas worked together, living side by side. Despite the intentions of learning from each other and co-inhabiting, there are some barriers between the two species. So, you're close friendship is still pretty out of the norm. Neither of your people fully understand, but find it fascinating nonetheless.

Learning from each other. While your friendship mainly comes from the fact that you both just get along well despite your differences, you definitely learn a lot from each other. In terms of science and technology, there isn't much for an Yautja to learn from a human except for some Earth specific things, but you learn so much from him. About science but also about space and alien species that you had never even heard of. And he learns so much about humans and other species on Earth.

The two of you are untouchable. No matter your position on the station, nobody can say a damn thing to you. Should a superior be a little too snarky, a co-worker a little too hostile, your large best friend will ensure it never happens again, threatening the humans and being capable of standing up against other Yautjas. You're also protective over him, always coming to his (and his species) defence whenever you hear a human co-worker talking bad about them.

The two of you are always working together. It's rare to see one of you with out the other, often claiming to need the other to work as effectively as possible, even if that obviously isn't true. Though, nobody is going to question either of you at this point, they've just accepted that a strange but close friendship had developed between the two of you.

I love your blog! and I got a request if that's alright.

Where Preston tells reader that Jesse died in the accident (cuz he's in love with her and wants to have her for himself) and reader gets really depressed and can't stop crying and Preston tells Jesse that reader left. And when Jesse decides to go home again after months, he's suprised to see reader and reader is suprised to see Jesse.

Angst with a happy ending, my favourite!

Back in his arms (Jesse Cromeans (Chromeskull) x Reader):

As soon as the words left Preston's mouth, your world crashed down around you. He hadn't even passed the threshold of the home you share, shared, with Jesse. He stood on your doorstep, informing you of the unfortunate events of Jesse's last trip. From the few details he gave you, to spare you the morbid parts, everything had gone wrong, Jesse was critically injured and didn't survive the operation once the Organisation got to him.

You didn't know Preston very well, you had met him many times because he worked closely with Jesse, but it wasn't like you were close. You knew that Jesse didn't trust him completely but he must have trusted him enough to keep him working so close. And not for a moment did you think that Preston could lie to you about such a thing.

After hearing the news, you just broke down. A sob tearing through your throat as tears streamed down your cheeks. You didn't even question it, didn't have the mind to question it, when Preston wrapped his arms around you and pulled you towards him. You couldn't do anything but sob into his chest.

The man had remained with you until it got dark, comforting you, attempting to take care of you. However, once it got dark you started to find his presence suffocating and insisted that you just need to be alone for a while. Preston had been...hesitant, telling you that you 'shouldn't be alone right now' but you insisted and he left, assuring you he would come by to check on you. After all, that's what Jesse would have wanted, right?

-

Searing pain was followed by darkness, then a bright light. Jesse squinted, his eyes hurting from the intense white light, slowly becoming aware of his surroundings. Soon he could focus in on the voices, talking in medical terms. He relaxed slightly, figuring he had been picked up and was being treated by the organisation.

A few days passed since he first woke up from his surgeries and the medical team deemed that he was healing well and was beginning the long journey to recovery.

Once he was out of the haze the medication had him under, Preston came to visit him. As soon as Preston stepped into the room, Jesse grabbed his phone, beginning to type something in.

'Send for Y/n. Let them know what happened and that I'm alright' the robotic voice ordered.

Preston sighed, shifting slightly. "I'm sorry, sir. We sent for Y/n as soon as we had you in surgery...they left" he informed his boss.

'Left?'

"Apparently they weren't confident about your condition or your chances of recovery, the inevitable scarring was mentioned. We went back to bring them here but when we arrived at the house, they and their belonging were gone" Preston explained, knowing that his Boss wouldn't react well to the news.

'Out' the text to speech demanded.

With a nod, Preston left the room, flinching at the sound of something smashing inside the room.

-

Months passed but Jesse had recovered enough from his injuries to return home, though he wasn't sure if he could call it that anymore. The large house he lived in had just been a place to rest between trips, it was you that made it a home.

Still, he wanted to go home and collect somethings at least before leaving for...well, he wasn't sure yet.

Jesse knew he had been a nightmare of a boss, even more so than usual, since finding out about you leaving. He was bitter that you would leave him when things went bad, but after seeing the extent of his injuries, the scars that would never heal, he was almost thankful that you had left. At least you wouldn't have to see him like this.

Jesse walked up to the front door, unlocking it before stepping inside. Everything was how he remembered it, of course, except there was no you running into his arms to greet him.

-

You were taking part in your usual daily routine, wallowing in your self pity, mourning the loss of the man you love. It was the sound of the front door opening that brought you out of your daze, a sound you hadn't heard since Preston stopped coming around. He said that the Organisation was busy, planning what to do next, but he would visit when he could. Though, you truly didn't care if he came back again.

Maybe it was just Preston, maybe you had forgotten to lock the door, you had been out of sorts for the last few months. Quietly, you moved through the house, hearing another noise coming from the kitchen.

Peaking your head around the door way, you saw a familiarly large figure with his back to you. For a moment you thought you were hallucinating, the tall bald figure in a familiar black suit.

It couldn't be...you knew that, but still a small part of you hoped that what you were seeing was real.

"...Jesse?" your voice was quiet and unsure, hands trembling as you stepped out into the kitchen.

The figure turned around suddenly, hand touching the left side of his shoulder holster where you knew he kept his beloved knives. The two of you froze as you locked eyes.

It was Jesse...that much you could make out, but he looked very different. Thankfully, you had pried more information out of Preston about the accident that caused Jesse's death. You didn't know why but you just had to know. He had told you that somebody had tricked him, put something in his mask that caused it to stick to his face and act like acid. He said that the injuries were so severe that Jesse didn't survive, but now he was standing right in front of you. Apparently, only part of what Preston had told you was true, according to the scarring on his face.

He was honest about the injuries being severe as well. The acid like glue had eaten away at Jesse's face, pretty much leaving him unrecognisable, but you recognised him, you always would.

Jesse was stunned, not only to see you still in your shared home but also to see that state you were in. Preston had made it sound like you had coldly left when you thought Jesse might die or return disfigured, but here you were, seemingly devastated over something.

You were wearing a pair of his sweatpants and one of his dress shirts, both of which were comically large on you, as if you just needed something to feel closer to him. It looked like you hadn't been taking care of yourself, looking gaunt. Though, you still looked perfectly angelic compared to him.

"Jesse" you sounded more sure in your assumption despite the sob that left you.

Jesse wasn't sure how to react for the first time in his life, because he didn't know how you would react to seeing him and his new appearance. He definitely hadn't reacted well to it when he first got the chance to look in the mirror.

It was like some unseen force moved your feet, your mind barely able to keep up as you sprinted across the kitchen, throwing yourself in Jesse's chest, wrapping your arms around your waist. The unexpected impact caused Jesse to step back and regain his balance, but his arms natural came to wrap around your shaking frame.

"I thought you were dead" you sobbed, voice muffled by the material of his shirt. Tenderly, Jesse ran a hand over your hair, holding you tighter to his body, refusing to let you go again.

After allowing your brain the chance to catch up and understand what was going on, you began to calm down. Still, you didn't let go of him as you pulled away from his embrace.

"Oh Jesse..." you frowned, eyes full of sorrow and love, as you took in his appearance, "what happened to you?" Jesse pulled away from you, reluctantly tearing his hands away to sign that his mask had been tampered with. "So, that part of Preston's story was true" you muttered, hands coming up to rest gently on either side of his neck.

Jesse couldn't look away from you, you were complete opposite of what Preston's story had made you out to be. It seemed that you had both be lied too...

You gasped slightly but didn't complain as Jesse hoisted you off of the ground and sat you down on the kitchen counter. You sniffled softly as Jesse wiped the tears away from your cheeks.

It wasn't until you touched a hand to his own cheek that he looked away, as if suddenly ashamed of his new appearance. "Jesse, please don't look away from me. I just wanted you to be alive and you are" you confessed, gently turning his face back towards you. "Does it hurt?" you asked, he only shrugged, as if telling you 'a little'.

"I'm so sorry Jesse" you couldn't imagine the pain he was in and you just wished you could have been by his side as he recovered. "I love you so much" you threw your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you as you buried your face into his shoulder.

He just held you for a while longer, both cherishing the feeling of having you back in his arms as well as putting the pieces together to figure out why Preston had told these lies. Of course, the answer wasn't a difficult one to figure out.

Once you had calmed down again, Jesse pulled away from you so that he was able to sign easier. 'Preston told me that you had left after you heard about the accident' in informed you, making your eyes widened.

"What? No. He told me that you were dead, I've barely even left the house in months...he's been visiting me to check on me..." you informed Jesse. "What would he do that?" you asked.

'He's envious. He thought I couldn't be Chromeskull anymore, he wanted to take my place. Either he's hoping I would die from my injuries or he would kill me. It seems that he wanted to take my place in more ways than one' Jesse explained, you watching his hands intently as you tried to understand the man's motives.

"That...kinda explains a lot...he's been kinda weird" you recalled, now realising he had been trying to worm himself into your life since the very beginning. "God, he's such a creep!" you cringed, disgusted by the man.

A look of determination took over your face as you cupped Jesse's in your hands, looking him in the eyes. "Preston could never take your place, not as Chromeskull, and not in my life. He just wishes he were you but he never can be. The fact that he thought I would ever be with him just proves how deluded he is" you ranted, disgust at Preston but adoration for Jesse both clear in your words.

You couldn't help but smile when you noticed Jesse's scarred mouth tugging into one of his own. Even now, you thought his smile was beautiful, that he was handsome. Preston had truly underestimated how devoted you are to Jesse, devoted in a way that nobody would ever be to him.

'I should have known better, that you wouldn't have left. I love you' his signs made you smile even brighter.

"I love you too, more than anything, and I always will" you promised, leaning up to press a tender kiss to his sensitive lips. "What will you do with Preston?" you asked quietly, knowing that Jesse would never let him live after this.

'I already have some ideas. You'll message him, tell him you're having a hard day and need somebody to talk too. I'll deal with him from there' Jesse told you, a sinister look flashing in his eyes before softening again, 'but that's for another day. We've missed each other for months...'

"You're right" you smiled softly, resting your forehead against his. "I just want to think about you right now...I can't believe I have you back" you sighed, feeling Jesse's arms wrap around your waist, holding you close again.

Jesse didn't have to say anything for you to know that he felt the same way. For months he had pictured you by his side, only making him more bitter during that time, but now you were here. Back in his arms, were you were made to be.
