Request doodles. Selective illiteracy may abound in some of these - from top right - kieramisu's Rhuven, spicyshimmy's Thadigrant Cadash, chyrstis's V , sweet-baby-jesus-and-the-orphans's Solana Amell. Anonymous requested Riku from KH, and a sad attempt at consistency in facial expressions to play around with drawing my Inquisitor, Keallagh Trevelyan.

chyrstis's Inquisitor. Gonna be posting these up a bit as I do them. They're pretty quick, since I'm still running a bit of a fever but won't be getting DA:I until tomorrow.

Yeah Its Gotta Be Almost As Dangerous As The Mark Itself, And Im Not Sure That It Would Be Terribly Useful

Yeah it’s gotta be almost as dangerous as the mark itself, and I’m not sure that it would be terribly useful because he’d have to be at least a little careful with it since it’s kind of volatile in a lot of forms.

But it’s my headcanon that the anchor is probably a huge boost to a mage inquisitor’s power - if magic is something pulled from the fade, having such a direct connection to that shit had got to have make magic easier. My inquisitor was a terrible student (he pretty much drew a blank the whole banter Solas and Dorian have about technique) - he got by the whole time with a handful of what would seem fairly easily-mastered spells simply by using the anchor to boost the power of basic things to being op as shit.

But if he was to find a way to use the lyrium in the arm in any way it would have pretty severe side effects. Probably at the very least the side effects mages get from too much lyrium use - if not something even worse. At first it would probably only be for real emergencies, but after time curiosity and necessity would make it less terrifying to pull from it. Faced with the idea that he’s the only one who knows the dread wolf well enough to counter what his former friend is up to - as well as delusions of grandeur that he can even try to fight this shit - he’d be pretty willing to tempt fate on using the arm for more than just a prosthetic limb.

Also I think Cassandra can and maybe has totally used his hand as a reading light - anchor or lyrium arm.
