Summary: Anon Request - "I Was Actually Wondering If You Could Write An Imagine With Colby And His S/o

Summary: anon request - "I was actually wondering if you could write an imagine with Colby and his s/o is 6-7 months pregnant. And just like what he would do with the baby bump,  how he would take care of her and just a day in their life with her pregnant... I hope that makes sense. Thank you!"

You smiled down at the tiny onesie in your lap, mind racing about how fast these last few months are really going to go.

You place the onesie in the drawer with the rest of the tiny clothing. You sigh as you look around the neatly decorated nursery, thinking about everything you have and everything you still have to get.

"Hey." Colby's voice is quiet and raspy, "Whatcha doin' up so early?" He walk over to you, bending down to kiss your head.

You smile and close your eyes as you feel his lips press to your forehead, "I had to pee, again." You laugh and look over at him as he sits down next to you, "then I just couldn't get comfortable and I didn't want to wake you with my constant tossing and turning."

He shakes his head, "Would have been fine, babe." He smiles and reaches over to grab a onesie from the laundry basket, "I can't believe she'll be here soon."

You lay your hands on your belly, feeling your baby girl swim around, "She loves the sound of your voice."

He smiles and glances down at your belly, "Yeah?"

You nod, "Yeah. She moves every time you talk." You reach your hand out, "Feel." He gives you his hand, letting you guide it to your belly.

His eyes go wide, "Whoa. She's really awake this morning."

You laugh slightly, "also why I couldn't get comfy." He gives you a small smile, "I'm sorry, y/n." You shake your head, "No, baby. Don't be sorry."

You run your nails gently over his hand, "I'm so excited to see you hold her." A big smile appears on his face and he sighs, "I'm actually so scared. Shes going to be so fragile and I-"

"Colby. Honey. You are going to be the absolute best daddy to her. You already love her so, so much and I know you won't let anything happen to her." You reach up, laying a hand on his cheek and he nods, "You're right."

"Of course I am." You laugh slightly and he rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah. Did you eat yet?"

You shake your head, "Alright." He stands up, "I'll call you when it's ready. Any specific cravings this morning?"

You purse your lips, thinking for a second before you smirk, "Chocolate."

He chuckles and gives you a thumbs up, "Got it."

You watch him walk out of the room before you look back, taking in everything as you gently rub your growing bump.

After breakfast and having a deep conversation about what's to come, you make your way to the couch and switch on the tv.

"So I was thinking.." Colby walks over and sits behind you. You lean back against his chest and lay your head back, "Thinking about what?"

"I was thinking about staying home today, hanging out with you and bean." He pokes your belly gently and you laugh slightly, "Don't you and Sam have that meeting today?"

He shrugs, "Yeah, but it can be moved to tomorrow or something." He kisses your head, "I just want to see you." His hands slide onto your belly as he rests his chin on your shoulder.

"Whatever you want to do, babe." You reach up, gently scratching his neck as you close your eyes.

"Why don't you take a nap. You were up early and I know just how tired you get." His fingers gently scratch over your bump, "I'll call Sam when you get up or something." You nod, already feeling like you could fall asleep.

Ah hour and a half later, you wake up, Colby still sitting behind you, "Get a good nap in?"

"You could have moved if you wanted to." You mumble, rubbing your eyes as you sit up. Colby placing his hands on your shoulders, leaning up, "I didn't want to."

You laugh slightly, turning so you can get up, "This baby is pushing on my bladder."

"I'm sure that's uncomfortable." He looks up at you and you nod, "Very much so." You waddle to the bathroom, sitting there for a few minutes as you fully wake up.

You stand in front of the mirror, eyes glued to your bump as if you're waiting to be woken from some sort of dream.

"Everything okay in there?" Colby gently knocks on the door and you smile, turning to open it.

Ever since you found out you were pregnant, Colby has been glued to your side. Always making sure you were okay, comfortable, cravings filled.

You really feel like you and Colby grew closer, all thanks to, as Colby calls her because you have no name yet, Bean.

"Yes. Everything came out okay." You joke as you walk into him, laying your head on his chest.

"Were you admiring the bump?" He chuckles and looks down at you as you nod, "Yeah, sometimes it just doesn't feel real."

He nods, "I know what you mean. I'm always staring at you, I just absolutely love you with this baby bump."

You look up at him, "Really?"

With all the good things that come with pregnancy, there's also bad things, such as insecurity, weight gain, swelling and mood swings, but Colby doesn't mind one bit.

"Really. You've opened up a whole other side to being beautiful and I can't get enough of it." He kisses your cheek and moves down, caressing your belly with his hands, "You're the best mama to bean, I know it."

He gently presses his lips to your shirt covered bump and the baby starts kicking and twirling like crazy.

"Whoa." He laughs, "She must really like me."

"I told you." You laugh as you run your hand through his hair, "It's every time you talk."

He stands back up, "l love you both." You smile as he leans in to kiss you.

"We love you." You wrap your arm around his back as he walks you back out to the couch, "I'm going to call Sam quick, see if we can change that meeting."

You nod, sitting down, "Why don't you see if you can do a phone meeting or something." He looks at you and you shrug, "I just know this is an important meeting and I just don't want to cause an inconvenience to anyone."

He sits down next to you, "You aren't and never will be an inconvenience. I can promise you that."

You sigh, trying to fight back the tears and Colby shakes his head, "Hey, hey. What's wrong?"

You sniffle, "I don't know.. I just.. I'm just so happy." You laugh as a tear rolls down your cheek, "And now I want a cheeseburger."

Colby pulls you to him, laughing slightly, "What an emotional rollercoaster." He pulls his phone out, bringing it up to his ear.

You look up at him, "What's are you doing?"

"Calling Sam. He'll bring you a cheeseburger." He laughs and you pout, "Colby."

"Hey, brother. I have a favor to ask." Colby laughs and looks down at you, "She's good, yeah. I was just going to see if you could come over, and bring cheeseburgers with you." He nods, "Yeah, she wants a cheeseburger."

You laugh and sniffle, "tell him bean and I love him."

"He said he loves you girls too and he'll be here in fifteen." Colby glances down at you and you nod, "Okay."

"Yeah, thank you. Uh huh. See ya." Colby hangs up and kisses your head, "Uncle Sam's on his way to save the day."

Colby sets his phone down and wraps his arm around you, "Sam is going to be beans favorite uncle."

"I agree with you. He'll do anything for her." You rub your belly and take a deep breath, "Have you thought of a name yet?"

He sighs, "I've been thinking, but nothing really sticks." He lays a hand on yours, "maybe once we see her we'll know."

You shrug, "Maybe. I just feel like she needs a name." You close your eyes, emotions taking over and Colby kisses your head, holding you a little bit tighter, "Hey. She'll get one. Okay? She won't be bean no name her whole life."

You laugh and shake your head, "You're right." You sit up, looking at him, "Thank you for always being here." He leans in, kissing your lips, "You'd have to bury me to get me away."

You laugh and lay a hand on his cheek, "That's not happening."

"Good. I was kinda scared you'd consider it." He jokes and you roll your eyes, "Oh yeah, all the time." You smirk and stand up, "I'm going to go change."

.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.

"Hey, hey, hey." Sam says as he walks through the door, "Someone order a few cheeseburgers?"

You walk over to him, taking the bag from his hands, "You're a life saver." He smiles and lays an arm over your shoulder, "anything for my niece."

You laugh, shaking your head as you focus on finally getting to eat the burger you've been non stop thinking about, "Where's Colby?"

"Baby's room." You say before you take a bite, "He's putting together her bassinet." You cover your mouth with your hand as you chew.

Sam nods, walking back the small hallway, "Daddy, where are you?"

You roll your eyes, laughing as you hear Colby say in a girly tone, "In here, sweetie."

You sit down on the chair, continuing to eat as you wait for them to come out, "That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life." Colby walks over to you, "I pinched my finger three times, but it's finally together and looking cute in the corner."

You smile slightly, reaching out to take his hand to look, "Are you okay?"

He nods, "Oh yeah, I'm good, also. We're going to just do that meeting via zoom today here if that's alright."

You nod, "That's fine, whatever you need to do."

"How was the burger? Satisfy your cravings?" Sam asks with a laugh and you nod, "you have no idea."

Sam stares at you for a few seconds, looking up at Colby and shaking his head, “I can’t believe that Colby is going to be a dad.”

“I can’t believe it either, Sam.” Colby rubs his hand up and down your back, “I think I’m more scared of this than I am when we were staying a week at the conjuring house.”

“That was terrifying.” Sam sits down, “Got a name yet?”

You shake your head, “Not yet. We’re hoping to come up with one soon. That the only stresser right now.”

Sam nods, “Samantha is a really good name.” He smirks, “Oh, or Sammie.. that’s adorable.”

“I think we should tell him.” Colby looks at you and you nod, “Yeah, he kinda just opened the bag and let the cat out.”

“I did what?” Sam tilts his head and laughs and you look over at him, “Her middle name will be Samantha after the best uncle she could ask for.”

“Excuse me.” Sam gets up, walking back the hall and you hear a loud, sarcastically dramatic sob. He walks back out, calm and cool, “That’s amazing.”

Colby laughs and walks over to hug him, they do their little spiel about being brothers, blah blah, and you have to pee again.

You make your way to the bathroom then coming out to finish your food. As you’re eating, your phone dings with an email, “Hey Colby.”

“What’s up, babe?” He walks over to you and lays a hand on your hip, “You good?”

You nod, holding up your phone, “Our shower invites are in.” He takes your phone, eyes scanning over the screen, “These are amazing.”

He walks over, “Sam, look at these.”

You never thought that you’d see two ghost hunters freak out over baby shower invitations.

“Those are adorable!” Sam shakes his head, “I’m going to keep mine forever.”

You laugh, “Uh huh.”

.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.

Later on, after their meeting, you’re scrolling down through the registry, looking at what everyone has gotten you guys so far.

“What else do we need for bean?” You look up, lifting a finger from your fist with each thing you say, “I know we have swaddles, blankets, crib sheets, and everything else I think.”

Colby brushes hair from your face, “Um..” he looks at your phone, watching as your scroll, “I think we have everything that we need for her, and if it’s not here we’ll get it at the shower next month.”

You sigh, “I feel like we’re missing something.”

“Diapers? Can’t have too many of them.” Colby chuckles and you snap your fingers, “I think that’s it!”

He shakes his head, kissing your head, “You need to relax, babe. Just take a minute away from all of that.” You sigh, handing him your phone to take it away from you, “You’re right. Sorry, I just-“

“Don’t apologize to me. Everything will be absolutely perfect and we’ll get through it if not. She’s already so spoiled, did you see all the stuff Sam bought?”

You laugh and nod, “She won’t be without anything for a while.”

“Exactly. Now just come here.” He pulls you back into him and you let out a sigh, “I think I’m just trying to keep myself busy so I don’t keep worrying about it all.”

“You’re her mama. It bound to happen, but you can just try and take a breather for one night. Stressing isn’t good for you or her.” He runs his hand up and down your arm, “You’re going to be such a good mama. I promise you.”

You smile, nodding against his chest, “And you’re going to be such a good daddy to her.”

The rest of the night, Colby tries to keep your mind occupied by putting on your favorite show and pampering you in anyway he can.

Lotion on your belly, talking to the baby in gentle tone, and getting you any of your craving that make their way to the surface.

You never thought you’d be here, but you couldn’t be more thankful for Colby and all he does for you.

Siren Lake C.b.

“Dude,” Sam abruptly jumped from his seat on the couch, carrying his laptop over to Colby. “Look at this.” He pointed the screen towards him, revealing his discovery.

Colby curiously averted his gaze over to the screen, reading the article that was pulled up. “W-What am I looking at here, Sam?” he inquired, raising a brow towards him.

“Well, someone sent me this article about this supposedly haunted lake,” Sam began, plopping himself next to Colby on the couch. “They say that these entities are haunting it, causing a bunch of disappearances.” He finally added.

Taking a moment, Colby glanced at the article, contemplating. “I mean, it’s worth a shot,” Colby muttered, facing towards his best friend.

In due time, they arrived in Michigan, the Land of the Lakes. Colby had been studying about this mysterious lake, finding holes in different stories. It was something unknown to him, unable to find an obvious answer here.

“Okay, so as we know,” Sam began, looking over at Colby from the driver’s seat. “This lake is in the middle of the forest, near some campsites.” Sam clarified.

Colby nodded, understanding his statement, “Don’t forget to mention the disappearances, also about the spirit that drowns first in the 80s.” He pointed out.

Sam nodded in return, pursing his lips as he attempted to dig further into his thoughts. “Oh, what about the mermaid theory?” Sam suddenly blurted out.

Colby scoffed, looking over at Sam with a slight grimace. “Seriously? Mermaids?” Colby murmured, flipping through his notebook. “I mean, sure, it’s a fun idea to entertain, but we both know that’s not real.”

“Oh hey, come on,” Sam nudged Colby, still steering the wheel of the car. “It’s nice to have an imagination here, Colby.” Sam chuckled, patting him on the shoulder before placing both hands on the wheel.

Colby shook his head, smiling as he studied the pages of research. He examined the illustration on the page, deep into toying with the idea. He shook his head once more, closing the page as he thought about the ridiculous idea.

The car came to a halt, prompting Colby to face upward to the scene. His jaw flew open in amazement, admiring the large forest surrounding them. The middle showcased a lake larger than he had envisioned.

“Woah,” Colby muttered, exiting the car to get a better view. “Did not expect it to be so gorgeous out here.”

“Even if this comes to a dead end, at least we’ll have a good time in the middle of the forest.” Sam joked.

“You must be Sam and Colby,” they had suddenly heard, causing them to avert their gaze over to the voice. “Hi, I’m Ben.” The man waved over towards the two.

The duo made their way towards their host, introducing each other.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Ben had asked them.

“Oh yes,” Sam nodded, glancing around once again. “Very nice, exceeded our expectations.”

“That’s great,” Ben chuckled, leading the two towards the cabin that peered over the ominous lake. “Cause the two of you will be staying here, so get used to it.”

Sam and Colby glance at each other for a moment, following Ben towards the door. As they entered, they studied the room. It wasn’t one of their Airbnbs, but it was still nice, grateful for a roof and not a tent.

Colby’s eyes slowly averted towards the window, as if an irresistible force was pulling him towards the lake. But swiftly pulled away at the pat on his shoulder, facing towards the grasp.

“Isn’t that right, Colby?” Sam asked him, confusing Colby.

“Huh? Oh yeah, for sure.” Colby randomly replied, going along with Sam’s story.

“Alright, I’ll let ya get to it then,” Ben sighed, making his way toward the entrance. “I’ll come back in the morning to check on y’all. Remember to check the list I left every night.” He pointed out.

Once Ben had exited the campground, leaving the duo alone in the woods. Colby let out a breath as he planted himself onto one bed, rubbing his eyes slightly.

“Well, what did you want to start with?” Sam asked, plopping next to him. “Did you want to do the intro or do more research?”

Colby peaked from his hands, looking towards Sam. “Uh, let’s just figure out our intro and record that, followed by more research,” he answered.

They didn’t waste any time, every minute counted for them. Considering the way the sun crept through the blinds and curtains, the time was very limited. Colby’s fingers started to cramp from the various writing and typing, along with the migraine sneaking in.

“That’s it,” Colby blurted, tossing the pencil down. “I think it’s time to throw the towel. I need a break.”

“Me too,” Sam sighed. “If I have to write one more thing, my head might explode.”

Colby dryly chuckled, planting himself onto his feet. “I’m just gonna go out onto the pier. I need some time alone.”

He opened the door, letting the cool wind hit his face. He quickly closed the door, walking towards the wooden structure. Colby let out a groan as he crossed his legs, overlooking the large body of water. He ran his hand through his hair, attempting to relax as he listened to the soft music of the forest.

But he lost his train of thought, a splash ringing out. Colby curiously raised his brow, searching for the source of the ripple of water. He focused in on one area, unable to take his eyes off.

Colby soon got interrupted by a ringing from his pocket, pulling his eyes away from the lake. He picked himself off the wobbling planks, retrieving his phone.

“Hello?” he answered, still glancing over towards the ominous lake.

“Colby, get in here,” Sam waved over from the window, still on the line. “I found something.”

Colby hung up the phone call, stuffing the phone back into his pocket. As he entered the cabin, Sam quickly dashed his way and shoved his laptop into Colby’s face.

“Look.” Sam smugly grinned.

Colby looked at his best friend before looking back towards the screen.

‘Sirens in Michigan?’

“Sam,” Colby tried to protest, but Sam was persistent.

“Listen, we hunt ghosts. How much different can this be?” Sam scoffed, attempting to change Colby’s mind. “Can you at least be open to the idea?”

Colby looked at Sam with a blank look, crossing his arms. “Fine, we can be open to the idea, but I’m still skeptical about it all.”

The next day arrived, prompting the boys to prepare their video at last. Colby stood at the edge of the lake, awaiting Sam to finish setting up the camera. Sam gave Colby a thumbs up, signaling everything was ready.

“Hey, what’s up guys!” Sam greeted. “It’s Sam and Colby, and we’re here at the Siren Lake in Michigan!” he panned the camera towards the lake and treeline.

“We’re here to investigate the various spirits that might be roaming the lake,” Colby began explaining. “But also, as the name suggests, there might be more than just spirits here.”

“That’s right guys,” Sam chimed in. “There are supposedly sirens, aka mermaids, in this very lake.”

“If you ask me, I don’t think there’s such a thing,” Colby raised his hands in defense, causing Sam to shake his head. “Listen, ghosts and demons have a lot of proof and we’ve seen them, but mermaids?” Colby scoffed.

“I think you’ll say differently later,” Sam smirked. “Cause one of us is gonna have to go onto the pier and talk to the said spirits or whatever roams that lake.”

The two continued to talk, making their way around the lake for a bit.

“Okay, so the history of this lake begins with a family, as most do,” Sam began. “The Bradson family had owned this lake from generations ago until the 80s.”

“The only reason they had sold it off is because they used to run a camp here until odd drownings had appeared,” Colby added. “And all of them were all men.”

“That doesn’t give us a lot of comfort, does it now?” Sam joked, nervously laughing into the camera.

“Our guide and the owner of the campgrounds will be here in a moment to explain more in-depth,” Colby explained. “He knows more than we do.”

Just in time, a car pulled back onto the dirt road. Ben exited his car, greeting the boys once more.

“Perfect timing,” Sam laughed. “We just began introducing you.”

Ben chuckled, making his way towards the two, “Almost as if I was summoned here.” He joked.

Sam turned on his camera, recording once more, “So actually, as we closed our camera, our guide just pulled in.” He chuckled, pointing it towards Ben. “Say hello to Ben.” He introduced

“Alright, Ben, we just want to know what you know,” Colby started, crossing his arms slightly. “Tell us your secrets.”

“As you must already know, this used to be a campground until the 80s,” Ben began. “Do you know why they call it Siren Lake?” He asked the two.

Sam glanced over to Colby with a grin, causing Colby to roll his eyes.

“Yeah, we might have an idea,” Sam answered.

“Well, people started talking about how the victims were all men,” Ben pointed out. “A rumor started that they were ‘seduced’ over to the water and murdered by a siren.”

“Really? Sirens?” Colby scoffed, laughing a bit.

“Yep, since the lake connects to a river that leads to the ocean, they assumed that something supernatural might cause of this.” Ben chuckled at Colby’s reaction.

“Can you tell Colby is a skeptic about mermaids?” Sam teased.

“Oh, that’s alright, he won’t be by the end of the trip,” Ben replied.

While heading to the pier, Ben entertained the group with tales of the profound history and personal experiences of different individuals.

“So tell us, have you seen the siren?” Sam asked curiously.

Ben thought about it for a moment. “You know, I have,” he nodded. “I was letting a group of guys stay here for the night. I went to check on them and they were freaking out about their friend seeing something. So I went to check out the lake because I figured they saw something and freaked out. But when I stopped at the edge of the pier, I saw something peeking at me through the water.”

“Woah, that’s so weird,” Sam muttered. “What did you do?”

“Well, I thought it was someone playing some joke, so I yelled at them to get out of the water and it was private property.” Ben shrugged. “But they just stared at me for a second so I pointed my flashlight over, which made them go underwater and splash away, and I saw bluish silver scales on the biggest fish's tail I’ve ever seen.”

Sam looked over to Colby, a smug look on his face as if he was saying ‘told you so’.

“I’d be careful, boys,” Ben warned. “Even you, Colby, sirens are no joke. They will lure you and drown you. Just be careful.”

“Thank you, Ben.” Sam thanked him, shaking his hand before letting him return to his daily work.

Sam turned over to Colby, “I told you, what happened to having an open mind?”

“I’m trying, but mermaids? It’s hard to wrap my head around.” Colby responded. “I already have enough of ghosts and demons.”

Sam rolled his eyes at his best friend. “Okay, let’s just talk about the spirits. Surely you’ll keep an open mind about that.” He patted Colby on the back, pulling out the various equipment.

Sam turned on the rem pod, placing it down onto the pier, followed by the Alice box.

“Alright guys, so we’re now gonna talk about the spirits,” Sam sighed. “There were about 3 guys that drowned. They weren’t even able to recover any of their bodies because of how deep this lake is.”

“Yeah, so their bodies could still be down there,” Colby added, shivering at the thought of it.

“There’ are a lot of theories about how these guys died, most of them saying they were drunk or under the influence. There’s also speculation that they died from how cold the water was, causing hypothermia, but of course, there’s the siren theory,” Sam stated. “Sirens, though, tend to just kill to kill. It’s said that it killed them because they were terrible guys.”

“They were awful, apparently having a reputation of being sleazy and gross,” Colby added, having a grimace grow on his face at the idea. “But we’ll try to find out through the spirit box and maybe the Estes method.”

“I think since I’m more open-minded, unlike my colleague,” Sam teased, pointing the camera towards Colby who shook his head. “I’m gonna be doing the Estes method.”

They quickly turned on the devices in hand, thinking of questions.

“Alright, Uh, is there anyone here?” Sam asked to the open, listening carefully as the crickets chirped and the night wind blew past them.

“...you…”

“Who are you referring to?” Sam responded.

“...water…”

“Yep, there’s water here. Is this where you passed away?” Colby nodded, shifting his weight.

“...rocks… drown…”

Sam snapped his head towards Colby, a confused look painted on his face. “Woah,” he muttered. Colby agreed, looking back at the Alice box.

“Who are you? Are you one of three men that drowned here?” Sam added, biting his lip as he rubbed his chin with his finger.

“...Mike…”

Colby’s jaw dropped, facing the camera. "They're not gonna believe that, but one of the men who passed away was named Micheal Anderson," Colby said, his jaw dropping as he faced the camera.

“...unknown…cold…”

Sam’s face contorted to one of confusion, looking at Colby for answers. “Maybe they’re saying they don’t remember how they died? I mean, the water gets freezing.”

Colby nodded, attempting to decipher the various words and their meanings. “Can you tell us what happened? Did you guys just die from the cold water or drown from drinking too much?”

“...none…strange…”

“Huh, maybe the siren theory was right?” Sam nudged Colby.

“Yeah right,” Colby sneered. “Maybe they died from something else.”

“...careful…”

“Look, it’s even trying to warn us,” Sam pointed out, but soon the familiar red light and blaring sound appeared from the rem pod, alerting the two. “Oh my god, that scared the fuck out of me,” Sam murmured, pointing the camera towards the flashing device.

“Is that you Micheal? Or is someone else making that flash?” Colby asked, stepping away from the rem pod as the light continued to circle.

“...pussy…”

Colby blurted out in laughter, followed by Sam. “Wow, maybe they were jerks.”

“I think maybe the Estes Method will give us a simple answer then,” Sam said, calming down from the fit of laughter.

Colby turned off the spirit box, handing Sam the bandana followed by the headphones. Once he had put them on, Colby showed the camera that Sam couldn’t respond.

“Okay, so let’s begin,” Colby sighed. “Okay, can you give us a straightforward answer to what happened here? You guys are being very hush-hush about the answer.”

“Pier,” Sam blurted out. “Something dangerous.”

“Yeah, some can say drinking and swimming are dangerous,” Colby joked. “Can you clarify more?”

“Beware of the woman,” Sam answered.

Colby felt his heart drop, unable to comprehend what that could mean. “Uh, what woman?”

“She calls for you,” Sam responded, confusion in his voice. “Watching you.”

A shiver ran down Colby’s spine, goosebumps covering his skin. “W-Wha… Watching me?” Colby repeated, hearing the familiar splashing near the pier.

Colby snapped his head up, his eyes attempting to adjust to the dark as the moonlight hit the ripples. Colby pointed his flashlight over to the deep gray water, searching for the source, just as he had done earlier in the day.

Sam continued to speak, unknowing of his best friend’s search. Colby’s feet stopped at the edge of the pier, ignoring all the sounds in the background. He let out a sigh of relief, unable to find any evidence of anything going on.

But as soon as Colby put down his flashlight, he felt large hands pressed up against his back. Colby, unable to retain his balance, fell into the deep cold waters, which had created a large splash that traveled to Sam.

Sam tore the headphones and blindfold off his head, turning around to look at Colby as he floated to the top.

“Woah, you alright, man?” Sam hurried to the edge, squatting down as he offered a hand to him.

Colby let out a laugh, swimming towards the pier. “Someone fucking pushed me in.” He muttered, reaching for Sam’s grasp.

He was about to grab Sam’s palm, but felt a tug at the end of his legs. “What the fuck, something grabbed-”

Colby’s sentence soon cut off as he got pulled under the water. He kicked the unknown entity, gasping for air as he heard Sam’s voice muffle as he called out for him.

Colby thrashed, adrenaline kicking in as he attempted to free himself. Colby looked down at the void of the lake, unable to find the source. Water filled his mouth, oxygen slowly escaping his body. His body sank, and the energy to fight slowed.

Colby had accepted there wasn’t a way out of this doom, looking up as he slowly descended into the seemingly never-ending waters. His vision slowly distorted as he examined the murky waters above him.

“Wow, I never realized it was a full moon tonight,” was all he could think about

Just as he thought it was the end, he saw something move out of the corner of his eye. A figure slowly circled him as it made its way past the moonlit waters, a glow of bluish silver reflecting as its hair sprawled around it.

Well, it wasn’t rather it; it was a woman. Colby wanted to react, but his body slowly shut down as his vision darkened. She was beautiful, her skin flawless and her long hair engulfing them as she touched his face as if she examined his features.

Colby’s vision became dark, becoming unconscious. She doesn’t remember men being this flawless, gliding her fingers across his skin. His tattoos caught her eye, something odd about painting skin to her. A frown grew on her face, looking back up at the land above as blue and red lights danced around the surface of the water.

She looked back at Colby, knowing the minutes were passing by. She quickly grabbed his arm, carrying his limp body up. Peeking over the water, she glanced around at the various people walking around. She bit her lip, brainstorming ideas.

The mermaid decided it was best to leave him by the shore, where Sam was pacing and freaking out. She knows if she does this, who knows if her identity will be safe? But something against her nature knew this one thing: she did not want the beautiful man to perish.

She drew him above the water, grunting as she pulled his seemingly lifeless body towards the wet rocks. She looked back at him, her brows furrowing as she fought within herself whether she did the right thing. Under the water once more, she dove, splashing as she vanished, making her way under the pier to observe the scene.

It wasn’t long until many flashlights lit up the shore, revealing Colby’s drenched and pale body. Sam let out a cry, watching as his best friend coughed and gasped for air as the water exited his lungs. Sam embraced him, relief washing over him as he recovered from his accident.

Colby sat at the edge of the patient compartment of the ambulance, wrapped in a towel, drowning out as the EMTs and various cops talked to Sam as he stared towards the lake. Something inside him was fighting whether he had made up the mysterious creature or, by some miracle, it was all true.

Colby jumped as Sam’s hand landed on his shoulder. “Dude, what the hell happened? I thought you were gone. The cops said you were lucky to even make it out of that lake.”

Colby looked up at Sam before glancing back at the body of water. “I think a mermaid just saved me.”

Sleep Tight | C.b.

Y/n tapped her foot, anxious. she bit her nails as they approached the large mansion, it seemed to have a dark aura already.

"You good?" Colby asked, worried. she pulled away from her anxiety ridden movements, facing him now to see his worried expression.

"Yeah, just nervous," she chuckled dryly. "This place has a dark past." She added.

Colby nodded, understanding. This was only her second time joining them in their explorations of the paranormal. Last time, it was a bit hard on her. Colby offered to let her stay in their hotel while they went through it without her, but she insisted.

She shifted her gaze from Colby's sympathetic look over to the dark manor. It was a huge mansion, painted bright colors that were peeling off. It was a stark contrast to the aura that lingered.

"Alright guys, you ready?" Sam smiled over to the two, misreading the vibe.

"Yeah." Y/n let out a deep breath as she exited the car, eyes still on the manor. She helped the boys take out their equipment as they tweaked with the settings on the camera.

"Hello everybody!" Sam exclaimed into the camera, Colby standing next to him. "I'm here with Colby and his girlfriend, y/n." He pointed the camera towards her direction, carrying certain items as she waved towards them, putting a smile on her face.

"Today, we're gonna explore the Demon's Dream Manor," Colby explained into the camera, in an expressive tone. "It is said that both ghosts and demons lurk here and possess you in your sleep." He added.

Y/n gulped hearing it out loud, she had read about it but something about it being physically said made her hair stand up and her mouth go dry.

She walked towards the boys as they finished their intro, still holding onto some equipment. she cautiously entered the mansion, trailing behind the two boys.

As they entered the foyer, she noticed the dark decor. it was sorta cheesy in her opinion, with the antique mirrors and candlesticks everywhere.

"Okay, apparently it's a tourist spot," Sam began, obviously. "But we're gonna be the first people to actually stay the night, it's like forbidden for anyone to stay here after hours, even the staff," He added.

Oh great, someones definitely gonna get thrown around here, she thought to herself.

"How did you even convince them to let us do this?" She asked as she placed down the random supplies onto the old dining table.

"Oh, isn't it obvious, they just took one look at me and they had to have me stay here." Sam joked as he threw back his imaginary hair.

She giggled a bit at his response, not even wanting to know. Her eyes wandered around the tall ceilings, wondering what lies ahead of them.

"There's this story about this place, that there was a family of 7 that lived here, 3 girls and 2 boys," Colby explained into the camera. "the girls had a sleepover, in which they essentially opened a portal with an ouija board." He clasped his hands together as the information settled.

"if Corey was here, he'd shit himself." Y/n joked, causing the guys to chuckle.

"Yeah so demons!" Sam chuckled, fake nervousness coated over it. "But that's not all." He quickly stated.

"Oh yeah, there's a ghost here," Colby interrupted. "After the portal was opened, one of the girls unfortunately passed away. She was thrown or pushed out of one of the windows causing her to die." He sadly continued.

"That poor baby," Y/n frowned, feeling remorse for the girl. The boys nodded, feeling the same empathy towards the death of the girl.

"Alright, our tour guide is here, her name is Penny, and she's gonna explain some of the stories and what happened in this house." Colby said as he looked over to the black haired woman.

"Well this place certainly has its history," Penny began. "Uh, well this house was built in the 1920's, it's been passed down the Merridale family for generations up until the 70's where the unfortunate events happened." She explained.

"Was it the family that experienced the torment of certain entities?" Sam asked, pointing the camera towards her.

"Yes, there were 5 children in total, Edith being the oldest, then Florence, Howard, Clarence, and lastly Dorthy." Penny explained. "The parents were Authur and Beatrice Merridale." She added on.

"Who was the girl that passed away?" Y/n asked, curious.

"It was the youngest daughter, Dorthy," Penny answered. "It was really sad considering she was the one that was mostly scared and didn't even want to participate in the ouija board."

Y/n felt a pang of sadness hit her, feeling so sorry for the little girl.

"That's awful," Y/n gasped, her face furrowing with sadness. Colby placed a hand onto her back, trying to comfort her a bit.

"Yeah, it's unfortunate but I'm also a medium, and I have communicated with her before, she's a kind spirit and she's known to ward off the evil around people. Especially women." She continued, adding comfort to the situation.

Y/n smiled, feeling comfort at the idea that this place isn't totally overrun by evil and there's some sort of light.

"I really hope she's gonna be protecting us tonight," Colby sighed, feeling some sort of uneasy feeling linger.

"Usually she'll just follow us and protect us, you can just tell her it's okay to follow you and watch, she doesn't do any harm," Penny offered. "I can just feel her already, she really likes you y/n." She pointed out.

Y/n's eyes widened a bit, looking around herself. "It's okay to follow us around the house Dorothy, we won't hurt you." y/n said into the open, hoping she'd hear her.

The boys did the same, before they began touring the house. They heard the occasional taps and knocks as they explored the house. They soon entered what seemed like the girls room.

"This is where the most activity happens,'' Penny presented. "This was the girls room, and this was the window where Dorothy was pushed out of." She pointed out towards the large nook like area that overlooked the road.

"Wow, that's really high up," Colby gasped slightly as he looked down from the window. "I can't imagine how much pain she felt." He sighed out.

"She died on impact," Penny elaborated. "So the good part was she didn't suffer." She included.

"I'm so sorry, Dorothy, that this happened to you." Y/n whispered as she looked around the room, examining the surroundings. Then she felt a sort of tap on her shoulder, she turned around to face the boys.

"You guys didn't touch me, did you?" she asked

"No, why did you feel someone touch you?" sam asked

"Y-Yeah it was like a tap on my shoulder to get me to turn around." she described.

"Someone's gonna have to stay here and sleep in this room..." Sam said before promptly touching his nose. Colby quickly reacted and mirrored his actions, leaving you to be last.

The boys silently exclaimed as you groaned. "Of course it has to be me." She sighed.

"Well it is a girl's room so you'll fit right in." Sam chuckled, before following Penny as they exited the bedroom.

Colby lingered behind along with y/n. "You know you don't have to do it, I can take your place in here or even sleep with you in the room." He offered.

"No it's okay, plus we both know that's not a good idea." Y/n joked as she knew how touchy he was.

"Not where my mind was going, but now I really want to sleep in the same room with you." Colby smirked a bit, holding onto her hand as they explored the rest of the house.

"This is the master bedroom, where the parents slept,'' Penny pointed out into the large bedroom, if it wasn't for the dark history this home would've been pretty gorgeous. "At some point, all of the family slept in this bedroom, they were scared of what lived in this home. I don't know if you guys mentioned it before, but there was an incident in this room as well." She continued.

"Possession and sleep walking?" Sam asked, furrowing his brow.

"Yes, but there was a part of the story that most people leave out," Penny pointed out. "When the family was all asleep in this room, one of the girls kept having nightmares and one night she began sleep walking, mumbling random words. She actually grabbed one of the kitchen knives and tried attacking her family." He added.

Everyone gasped a bit, shocked about how this wasn't told before.

"Wait, was everyone okay?" Colby asked, worry written on his face.

"Yes, but she did manage to stab her mother in her right shoulder, but luckily, everyone woke up to her mother screaming and pulled her out of that trance." Penny answered, clasping her hands together.

If everyone didn't feel scared before, they surely did now. The air was tense and felt suffocating, full of uneasiness. y/n scooted towards Colby, now holding his hand for security. Colby tightened his grip on her hand, a sign for protection. They suddenly heard footsteps behind them, causing her to jump closer to Colby's body. He turned around, his body shielding y/n.

"You hear that?" Colby asked, looking around before looking over to sam. "Sounded like footsteps.

"Yeah I heard that too," Sam replied as he also looked around, pointing his camera towards the darkness.

"Usually it's just entities following us around," Penny warned. "If you are not Dorothy, you may not follow us or attach to any of us, you don't have our permission to touch us, follow us, or attach to us." She shouted behind us.

Everyone stayed quiet before they continued the tour. Before we knew it, Penny had to go, leaving us alone in the large manor. The group sat in the dining area, considering what to do.

"Did you bring any toys?" Y/n asked. "Maybe we can leave one for dorothy." She offered.

Colby smiled at her sweetness, finding her kindness refreshing in the mansion. "Yeah, I think we bought a doll for her." Colby said as he dug into his bag, picking out a little doll. "That is, if you're not talking about other toys?" he smirked, jokingly wiggling his brows

"Shut up," she blushed at his dirty comment. "But thank you, hopefully she'll love it." She smiled, examining the toy doll.

"Are you still going to sleep in that room?" Sam asked as he pointed the camera towards her.

"Yeah, I'm not backing down, plus I have Dorothy for protection," y/n replied with a sigh, she was terrified but she knew that colby would be a couple doors down in the master bedroom. "Plus Colby will fight the spirits for me, isn't that right?" She inquired.

"Oh yeah, I'll use my big strong muscles to ward them off you," Colby joked as he flexed his muscles. "But I'll probably be thrown out the window if I even try, so I can't help out there." He chuckled.

She gave Colby a kiss on his lips, while Sam pretended to gag towards the camera.

"Alright, enough you too, you're gonna make me and Dorothy sick," Sam teased. "Anyway, what are we gonna start with first?" he asked.

"I think we should do the alice box," Colby offered. "We could do the estes method after." he continued.

Sam nodded, "alright lets start up the alice box." he began as he dug through the bag, grabbing the small box. it turned on with a loud crackle, before different frequencies blasted through.

"Is there anyone here willing to speak to us here?" Sam asked, waiting for a response.

"...here..."

"Here, can you tell us who we were speaking to?" Colby inquired, it was silent for a moment before it spoke again.

"...not..." "...man..."

Shivers ran down her spine hearing the words.

"Can you tell us your name?" Y/n requested, but it didn't say anything.

"If it's not human, it doesn't want to give us its name," y/n sighed. "Their names are what gives you power over them." She continued. The guys nodded a bit, agreeing with her statement.

"Is it true that there is a portal in this house?" Colby questioned.

"...yeah..."

"Is there a spirit with the name of Dorothy in this home too?" Y/n inquired as she leaned closer in her seat, awaiting the answer.

"...lost..." It gurgled over other words, too. Y/n furrowed her brow confused.

"Lost? I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean." Sam wondered, thinking about the words while the alice box spewed more confusing words.

"Did you possess one of the daughters here to kill her family?" Colby asked into the air.

"...shhh..." "...sleep..." "...scream..."

They looked at each other, mouths open with shock.

"I mean Penny did say that she was possessed in her sleep," y/n let out, sort of covering her mouth in shock. "And the family woke up to their mom screaming." She clarified. They agreed with her statement before returning back to the alice box.

"What do you think about us being here? We're the first people in decades to sleep in this home." Sam expressed.

"...play..." "...touch..." "...mmmh..." "...her..."

It ran shivers down her spine and traveled all around her body. "What the hell." She muttered out, gripping onto Colby's arms.

"No, you can not touch her, she's not yours," Colby angrily growled, holding her close to him. "You're not allowed to touch any of us, especially her."

She felt herself wanting to shake a bit hearing those words, while the alice box spewed out more words. Sam quickly turned it off, and put it away.

"What the actual fuck dude." Sam faced Colby with a shocked expression planted on his face.

"Yeah, clearly something here feeds off women's energy." Colby replied, trying to comfort y/n.

"Are you okay, y/n?" Sam asked, camera still rolling.

"Y-Yeah, im fine just a bit shocked," she answered as she released her grip. "Let's just do the Estes method, let me do it." She added.

"No way," Colby scoffed. "You're being targeted, y/n." Colby explained.

She looked up into his eyes, seeing worry in his stern look. "Colby, it's okay, I can do it." She assured him. "You'll be right next to me, pulling me out if anything."

Colby's eyes softened a bit, knowing there's no way he's gonna convince her not to do it. "Okay, but if it goes south even for a moment, I'll pull you out." He sighed.

She smiled, squeezing his hand to assure him. she grabbed the headphones and blindfold, putting them on. Sam turned on the machine and the familiar static blared through.

Y/n couldn't hear them as they began asking questions.

"How did you get here?" Sam asked, waiting for an answer from y/n.

“Board." She repeated. "Invited us."

"Like the ouija board." Colby looked up at Sam. Sam nodded, agreeing.

"Can you tell me how many of you are here?" Colby questioned.

"You." She said, "Ten." She continued.

"Not alone."

"Well, that's comforting." Sam scoffed, jokingly.

"Howard." She shouted out. Colby looked over to Sam, both thinking the same thing.

"That's one of the sons' names." Colby finally said.

"Pretty." Y/n answered. "Scared." She finally said.

"Like one of us is scared or something," Sam pondered.

"Night." Y/n continued. "Party."

The two wondered what that meant, "like a sleepover." Colby finally figured it out, snapping his fingers and pointing up to sam.

"Oh my god, you're right!,'' Sam gasped. "The slumber party that the girls were having."

"Terror. Dorothy." She repeated. Y/n felt herself begin to shake as an uneasy feeling crawled on her back. "Scream." She continued

"What the hell?" Sam whispered, unsure what's happening.

The two guys suddenly heard a loud thud upstairs. they looked up, confused where it could come from. "sounded like it was in one of the bedrooms." Sam admitted.

"Laugh, I just heard a, like, loud guttural laugh." Y/n pointed to her headphones. "Precious. Soul."

"Okay I think we need to pull her out," Colby quickly continued, tapping on y/n's thigh to snap her out. "Y/n, come on."

She tore off the headphones at the last second as she heard some sort of loud scream, "woah, just as you were pulling me out, I heard this loud ass scream." Y/n pulled the blindfold off her eyes, visibly shaken.

"It's okay, it's over now." Colby comforted her as he pulled her up, embracing her into his arms.

Things had finally settled, they went out to go get something to eat. They talked about theories, noting things and connecting points, and how they felt being in the house.

When they returned, they noticed the house became colder. They slightly shivered at the cool air nipping at their skin.

"Here." Colby said as he handed her a hoodie. She smiled up at Colby, thanking him for it.

"Aren't you gonna be cold, baby?" She asked, worried about him.

"I'll be okay, I'll just borrow one from sam." Colby smiled at her concern. "Or i'll just tear it off his body." He joked, causing Sam to spin around and mutter what.

They laughed at his reaction, feeling the mood lighten up slightly. she put on the hoodie, inhaling his scent that was mixed with cologne. it comforted her, making her feel comfortable.

"Alright guys, it's time to go to our respected rooms,'' Sam said as they began to part ways. "To sleep overnight at the demon's dream manor." He turned the camera to face Sam and Colby, with an ominous stare.

"Can't believe you two are gonna be in the same room," Y/n sighed. "Hands off my boyfriend, Golbach." She continued with a stern look, jokily.

"Hey, I can't promise anything, sugar," Colby replied teasingly, stepping closer to sam. "What if I get cold?" He pouted his lip and pretended to shiver as he huddled towards Sam.

Sam and y/n laughed at his reaction, they joked for a moment more before they actually had to go to sleep. She turned on her camera, ready to give a moment of her thoughts.

"To be honest, I'm really scared," she admitted into the lens. "I have this really bad feeling that something is gonna happen, but I'm sure that Dorothy, wherever she is, is gonna protect us." She sighed out.

"I wonder what the guys are doing," y/n wondered. "probably rubbing their feet together and cuddling." She chuckled. She stayed silent for a moment as she heard random footsteps outside her door.

"I just heard footsteps, I hope the camera caught that, or even the guys heard that." Y/n looked over the camera and at the door, not seeing anything.

It was silent besides a few crickets outside and the humming of a radiator, which was odd because it was freezing. "Well guys, wish me luck, i'm gonna put out this little doll Colby gave me and rest my lil head and pray that nothing happens." She finally said before placing the doll on a wooden chair and positioning the camera to face her and her surroundings.

As the night progressed, slowly getting closer to the 3 o'clock hour. Y/n couldn't help but feel restless. Her body was sleeping, but her mind wasn't. She felt stuck in some sort of loop, a nightmare.

She found herself in a thick fog, on what seemed to be a dirt road. She frantically looked around as she heard a faint whisper, what seemed to be coming from all different directions.

She began to run, but the whispers didn't seem to go away. She tried to cover her ears as she sprinted through the mist. Then she saw a building approaching, she felt as if it was a beacon for hope.

as she neared towards it, her heart began to sink. It was the mansion. But this time, it was much darker than she remembered. The manor seemed to have a shadow casted around it, she began to panic as she felt a hard pressure on her chest.

Then she saw a dark shadow, a figure raced past from the woods behind the house. She felt worry and fear begin to settle in her chest, she didn't want to go towards it. But her body seemed to be pulled as she slowly made her way behind the house. She braced herself for what was to come, but nothing.

She felt some sort of relief wash over her before she spun around, seeing it. It was dark and tall, it had piercing white eyes with red pupils. It towered over her as it grinned down at her, with its black and scrawny, long fingers began to grip her hands. It pulled her close to its body. She screamed as she began to sob, trying to fight back and call out for colby.

"Y/n!" Colby shouted out, "wake up!" He shook her awake.

She opened her eyes to her surroundings, looking around frantically as tears stained her face. Y/n began shaking and trying to figure out what happened. Then she noticed Colby's cut hand and the knife sitting across the room.

"W-what happened?!" She panted as she didn't want to think of the worst. Sam was behind Colby, looking at her with fear plastered in his eyes.

"Y-you just came in here," Colby began. "You opened the door, thank god Sam was still awake, he thought you didn't want to sleep in the room anymore and went to sleep with me. But..." He stopped himself, contemplating whether to say it.

"What did I do?" Y/n whimpered, feeling guilt build up.

"Sam saw you have a knife, we don't even know where you got it from, cause they removed all the knives from the house." Colby continued. "He pushed you off of me as you were about to... stab me." He finally admitted.

She began to sob into her hands, "D-Did I do that? Did I h-hurt you" she asked him, her voice shaking.

"Y-Yeah, you got back up, and I was awake by then. I thought I could get you to wake up and unarm you,"Colby sighed. "you just started slinging that thing around, and I put my hand up and you cut me a bit, but I’m okay, y/n I swear. It's just a cut.” He reasoned

"Oh god, Colby, I'm so sorry," she cried out as Colby pulled her in. "I'm so sorry, I-i didn't mean to hurt y-you." Y/n muttered into his shirt.

He tried to comfort her the best he could, she cried for what felt like hours. Colby looked up to Sam, who still had a worried expression on his face.

"Okay, we have to get out of here," Sam suddenly broke the air. "Y/n, just stay in the car and we'll pack everything." He continued, still afraid of her.

She didn't say anything as Colby guided her out of the house. He opened the car and she sat in it, looking up at the mansion again. She felt a shiver run down her spine, causing her hair on her body to stand up.

As the guys packed up everything, Sam couldn't help himself and just asked. "Do you think that thing is attached to her now?'' He gulped a bit.

"I hope not," Colby answered with sadness in his voice. "Whatever happened, fucked her up, we'll have to sage before we leave." he continued as he grabbed the bag. Sam nodded, agreeing with him.

"Don't take this the wrong way man," Sam began. "But, do you think we can even release the footage? I got it all on camera." He admitted.

"Hell no," Colby frowned. "I don't want the world thinking she's a monster, she didn't mean to do it, that fucking thing possessed her and controlled her." he spat angrily.

Sam nodded, agreeing with him. "Yeah, just gonna have to tell the fans that we lost the footage or something." He sighed as he put away the last of the equipment.

as they exited the house, they said their usual thing. "You cannot follow any of us, including y/n. you cannot follow us home." They announced behind them, before they closed the door.

They began walking down to the car, seeing the sun begin to rise. Y/n just stared ahead, no emotion on her face. Her mind was racing from thought to thought. She didn't even flinch when they entered the car, Sam looked over to her then back to Colby. He had a worried expression written on his face.

As they were pulling away from the property, she couldn't help but look back. She saw a dark figure move out of the view in the window, making her freeze for a moment before returning to the emotionless stare.

As they drove, silence hung in the air. They didn't play music, joke around, or talk about anything like they usually did. Just silence. She didn't want to talk about it, still traumatized from her experience. Y/n couldn't shake that cold feeling on her back, images of her nightmare flashing in her mind.

Something was left with her, but it wasn't an attachment. But it was rather the guilt and trauma she would carry with her for a lifetime.

pairing: colby brock x medium ! f ! reader

summary: colby meets a new medium for their video, but he didn't expect to have a crush on her

w.c.: 5.4k

warning(s): talk about paranormal, creepy activity, a lil steamy moment

a/n:  like sleep tight, the hauntings are made up and the story line does not exist. i do want to add that, i suck at writing a lot of like investigative stories so please don’t judge me. also I had requests for this type of story, ironically I was already working on it so hope you guys enjoy it

Sense | C.b.

"Is anyone gonna join us?" Colby asked, packing his camera into his bag.

"Actually, yeah, some girl that Celina referred from the home town," Sam replied. "She's supposed to be a medium." He added.

The two guys finally we're going to investigate the infamous orphanage that is supposedly haunted by the spirits of the children that died. They had finally done the research and were ready to go investigate.

"Cool, what's this girl's name?" Colby inquired.

"Uhm, I think it's y/n?" Sam stopped to think, pulling out his phone. "Yeah, I texted her this morning letting her know we're going to catch a flight there, she's our ride." Sam chuckled, putting away his phone into his pocket.

Colby let the name sit in his brain for a little, hoping to remember it later. It wasn't long before they were on their flight there. It was quite a while, editing and looking over their notes.

When they landed, Sam kept searching for her face and Colby totally lost who they were supposed to look for. Sam's eyes soon lit up, recognizing her in the crowd. He waved at her, bringing her attention towards them.

Colby finally noticed who they looked for, catching a glimpse of her. He felt his body heat up, flustered at her beauty. She was gorgeous, her hair running down her shoulders and her smile radiating through the crowds of people passing, he was surprised he didn't notice her earlier. She'd look like your typical medium, having a great style in all black, wearing an oversized band shirt, black sleeves underneath that hung over her jeans.

"Hey guys!" Y/n greeted them, hugging Sam then moving over to Colby.

Colby felt his heart flutter and couldn't help but take her scent in, practically intoxicating. As she pulled away from her embrace, Colby couldn't help but feel disappointed. She offered them a smile and a hand with their luggage, but they declined the help.

They moved their things into her car, ready for the trip over to their hotel. On the way there, she played music that practically matched Colby's taste. He felt as if he found his soulmate then and there.

Sam kept asking her about herself and getting to know her.

"So tell me, what type of medium are you?" Sam wondered. "If you don't mind me asking, of course."

"It's okay, I like answering these, well, it's weird but I sorta have different types of abilities," Y/n began, steering the wheel. "I can let spirits communicate through me, so I'll channel them into my consciousness, letting them talk." She answered.

"Other abilities? like what?" Colby asked, curious as he leaned forward in his seat.

"Well, I'm sure you have other mediums with my ability to see beyond what you guys can see," Y/n chuckled, amused at their curiosity. "I sort of have a heightened sense and I can see actual spirits walking around and hear whispers."

"You know, I think you're the only medium we met who can just surrender themselves to let spirits talk through them." Sam chuckled.

"Oh well I don't do it often, only with spirits I trust." Y/n added.

As she finished her sentence, they had finally made their way to their hotel. It didn't take long before the three of them were inside the room, talking about random stuff. Colby couldn't help but watch her as she laughed and moved around the room.

"What's so interesting about Nebraska?" Sam joked, starting a conversation.

"If i'm being honest," Y/n sighed. "Nothing." She laughed.

"Oh, that's great," Sam laughed back. "I don't want to get into the video already, but tell me, why is Nebraska so significant with orphanages?" He continued, pulling out his camera and beginning to record.

"Well, do you guys know about the Orphan Train Movement?" She asked, leaning back on the bed she sat on.

"No, never really heard of it." Colby replied, shaking his head.

"Well, Nebraska is like the center of all the railways, so in the 1850's all the way until the 1920's, people would send orphans on the train from like the crowded East Coast cities into the midwest, mostly Nebraska," Y/n explained. "So, we used to have a lot of orphanages just like Haven Orphanage." She continued.

"Really? that's really interesting." Sam commented, facing the camera towards her.

"Yeah, again I don't really have much knowledge about it but that's what I know," Y/n corrected. "Hopefully the guide will explain it better."

Y/n decided it's best if she lets them settle in, letting her also collect herself and prepare for their investigation. she said her goodbyes before leaving. She had to admit, she had a crush on Colby for a while. But she didn't want to feed her delusions and say he felt the same, telling herself he was probably being friendly.

When she had left, Sam turned over to colby.

"You so have a crush on her." Sam laughed.

Colby turned red, covering his face, "Shut up." He muttered.

"Hey, I just never seen you so quiet around a girl," Sam admitted. "Come on, you gonna make a move?" Sam enticed him.

Colby sighed for a second, looking at his best friend, "I-i don't know, she's only being nice, I don't want to embarrass myself and get rejected."

"Really? Colby Brock getting rejected? Haven't seen that happen yet." Sam teased.

Colby rolled his eyes, playfully. "Whatever, let’s just focus on this investigation for now." he averted the subject.

Sam just gave him a look, as if it wasn't over just yet. He agreed to his friend's idea, pulling out his notes and taking more notes.

Six o'clock came a lot earlier than they hoped, making their way to the orphanage. As they pulled into the building, they noticed y/n already waiting out front for them. Colby felt his heart beat a bit faster seeing her there. He examined her outfit and her demeanor, admiring her.

They began making their way up towards the front doors, seeing the guide also there. It didn't take long for y/n to turn around and notice them, putting a smile on her face and her heart to melt a bit seeing colby.

"What's up guys?" Y/n offered them a smile. "I was just talking to Morgan here about the building." She pointed towards the other woman.

They greeted their guide, offering a warm greeting. They all introduced themselves, joking and laughing a bit.

"Well, are you guys ready for the tour?" Morgan asked them.

"Yeah, for sure lead the way." Sam nodded, following her.

"Well this building was built in 1863, it was originally an orphanage named Haven Orphanage for Moved or Unwanted children," Morgan started, pointing towards the building. "It's said to be haunted, due to cruel conditions like overcrowding and shortage of supplies. The government didn't really want to pay for any orphanages, unfortunately causing it to be absolute hell for the children and staff." She continued, clasping her hands together.

"Yeah, off the bat I already feel like some negative energy," Y/n motioned with her hands towards the building. "Like I feel a negative spirit lurking."

"Yeah, so that you're feeling is Ruby," Morgan clarified. "She was one of the staff, she was very cruel to the children and it's rumored she sold her soul to the devil for the place to keep standing, but unfortunately she passed away from unknown causes." She continued.

Everyone looked around, widened eyes painted on their faces.

"Wow, okay so more demons." Sam chuckled.

"Well, it's not all bad energy," Morgan stopped him. "There's a lot of children spirits in here, they're rather playful and kind. But they do like to mess with you so don't get too scared from it." She added.

"Wait, why am I kinda excited," y/n replied, covering her smile. "I never talked to children's spirits before." She admitted.

"Well, it'll be a new experience for everyone then." Morgan chuckled, "Shall we start the tour then?" She suggested.

The group agreed, making their way into the building. Immediately everyone looked around the place, noticing the different decor and admiring the ceilings.

"So, as you can see, the building has a lot of character to it," Morgan pointed out. "But don't be fooled, there are a lot of dark corners of this building."

Aas they went deeper into the hallway, they looked around seeing the admission office and different classrooms.

"This was the classrooms, they would attend school here but the staff wasn't very kind," Morgan began. "A lot of the staff would use punishments that were unorthodox, like paddling which was spanking with a wooden paddle." She added.

Colby looked over to Sam, "Maybe I should be punished." He whispered, causing y/n and Sam to laugh a bit.

They soon wandered up the stairs, examining the stained glass on their way up. Y/n smiled as her eyes traveled around the beautiful structure, while Colby couldn’t help but watch her move and how beautiful she was.

When they made their way up, they noticed the many bedrooms with bunk beds. As y/n began following the guide, she heard a loud metallic thump in one of the rooms. She jumped a bit, surprised by the sound. Unexpectedly, she jumped back into Colby's arms, causing her to become embarrassed.

Colby's hands were wrapped around her for a moment before y/n, releasing her when she cleared her throat and looked down flustered. “Sorry, that just scared the shit out of me.” She muttered, placing a hand on her chest.

“That's probably Billy,” Morgan mentioned, pointing towards one of the darkened rooms. “He likes to mess with tourists, he’s a prankster but he’s harmless.” She added.

Y/n couldn't help but notice a small figure move out of her eyeline, causing her to swing her head towards the room. The guys followed her swift movements, examining the dark room.

"Did you see something?" Colby asked her, looking back at her.

Y/n tried focusing her eyes into the darkness, but nothing came up, "Could've sworn I saw something..." She whispered.

As Sam pointed the camera towards the darkness, he zoomed into the room. "Well we definitely have to come back here for something," he commented.

As they continued making their way further into the building, Colby couldn't keep his eyes off her. She was beautiful at every angle, he wanted to protect her from anything and everything. Y/n noticed his gaze, being a medium and all, and turned to him. Colby quickly averted his gaze off her, flustered yet again and awkwardly kept walking.

Y/n blushes as well, trying to rationalize. She cleared her throat as she began making her way towards one of the bedrooms.

"This was one of the girls' rooms," Morgan explained, pointing towards the different bedsheets of muted pinks and purples. "This doesn't have much activity besides a little girl who likes to sing from time to time, she's a rather sweet ghost."

"Sam, this one should be your favorite," Colby teases, mentioning the Sallie house.

Sam laughs, facing his friend, "I think I'm okay without another attachment."

They all exchanged laughs as they averted their attention towards the sudden faint sounds of footsteps, followed by the rocking chair in the corner slowly creaking as it rocked back and forth.

They went silent, looking at each other and back at the scene. But the chair just ceases its movements.

"Okay, what the actual fuck." Colby whispered, covering his mouth in shock.

Y/n felt a cold touch travel down her arm, as if someone swiped her arm. She looked around, trying to find the source. She felt a faint whisper in her ear, a name.

"That was the little girl, her name is Beth if you would like to talk to her." Morgan suggested.

Y/n's jaw flew down, realizing what the name was. "You're kidding," she gasped. "I literally heard like a whisper or something with that name." She announced, crossing her arms as she felt the cold begin to engulf her.

Sam and Colby turned to her, eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh my god, maybe Beth wants to talk or something?" Sam considered, pointing the camera towards her direction.

Y/n nodding, agreeing. She had experiences like this, but never this strong. She felt like her body was vibrating and buzzing with the constant movements and voices.

"Are you okay?" Colby asked, furrowing his brows as he noticed her body shake.

Y/n nodded slightly, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath. "Yeah just there's so much happening right now, I keep hearing different types of voices and seeing figures around the corner of my eye." She mentioned.

Colby's eyes washed over with concern, having the need to protect her. "Did you want to take a break or anything?" He asked her, worry coated in his voice.

Y/n smiled at his empathy, "I'll be okay, just my body is buzzing a bit, but thank you." She breathed out, flustered at his concern.

Before they knew it, they had made their way to the darkest part of the building. The basement was where supposedly a lot of the children died from cruel punishments, creating a lot of angry spirits.

"Okay, so before we make our way around," Morgan began, turning back to the group of people. "There is a lot of negative energy here, they will try to hurt you. People always leave here with scratches and even have been pushed off the stairs going to the basement." She warned.

The group felt tense, nervous about what comes next. When they entered the dimly lit room, they could barely navigate through the dark basement as they stayed close to each other.

Y/n heard something fall, causing her to jump forward and instinctively grab the person's hand. That person being Colby. She blushed as she realized who it was, clearing her throat and mumbling an apology.

"It's okay," Colby assured, smiling but she couldn't see it. "You can hold my hand if you want, I'm sorta shitting bricks right now too." He chuckled, stretching out his hand to her.

She felt her heart skip a beat, hesitantly reaching for his hand. As she grabbed onto his hand, she felt her body rush with electricity. Y/n was glad that the room was too dark to see her flustered face.

"Alright guys," Morgan sighed, stopping under a lightbulb. "This was where most of the children actually died." She mentioned.

Y/n felt a wave of sadness coarse through her body, her lip beginning to quiver. Colby looked over to her, seeing the glisten of her tears.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked her, his brows furrowed with worry.

"Y-Yeah, I just felt this wave of sadness," she sniffled in response. "like I feel them telling me something so horrible happened to them." She added.

Colby felt sad to see her cry, wanting to wipe her tears away. Instead he gripped onto her hand firmly, reassuring her.

Morgan nodded at her comment, "It was actually gruesome," she began. "The kids would be punished here, starved, even beaten. A lot of that resulted in death."

Everyone in the group frowned, so much remorse for the poor children's lives that were lost.

"But," Morgan cut in. "Like I mentioned before, there is an adult spirit who haunts here, Ruby. It's rumored she was murdered down here or the other theory was she was pushed out of one of the windows."

They thought for a moment, feeling a cold chill rush through them causing them to shiver for a bit.

"Did you guys feel that?" Sam asked, pointing the camera towards them, ignoring their grasp on each other.

The two nodded, their eyes darting throughout the basement.

"Man, I don't like the vibe I'm getting here." Y/n whispered, trying to inch closer to Colby.

Colby agreed, lacing his fingers through hers as he pulled her closer to his body. He felt so protective of her, wanting her to be safe.

"Yeah, we don't want to be down here for too long," Morgan began making her way back to the exit. "People get seriously hurt here." She added, sternly.

Y/n's eyes widened, looking up at Colby. He looked back once he noticed her glance and smiled as he guided her towards the exit.

Once they exited the creepy basement, y/n let go as she thought Colby wouldn't want Sam to see their hold, causing Colby to become disappointed.

Morgan led the group towards the front of the building, Y/n walking alongside with her as Sam and Colby hung behind them.

"Dude, I saw you guys down there," Sam smirked, grabbing Colby's attention. "You know, holding hands," He teased.

Colby rolled his eyes as he flustered at his best friend's teasing, "So what?" He murmured.

"Admit it, you like her, don't you?" Sam asked, wiggling his brows slightly.

This only caused Colby to get more embarrassed, looking away from his best friend.

Sam only chuckled, reaching the doors to the building as they parted ways with Morgan. They thanked her, offering her farewells, and advice.

As soon as Morgan left, the group looked at each other. Y/n tried to avoid her gaze on Colby, not wanting to seem desperate for his attention.

"Alright, I think we should use the spirit box," Sam began, rummaging through his bag. "And I have some toys that might interest the kids." Sam added as he pulled out various children's toys and the infamous Alice box.

"Okay, sounds good." Colby agreed, nodding with the plan.

Y/n bit her lip, trying to figure out something she heard in the building. She figured it was nothing, brushing it off slightly. They began making their way back towards the doors they just exited, seeing the dark hallways stretch down.

Y/n froze for a moment, her eyes trying to adjust to the darkness. Soon, she started making her way towards the two who had already made it halfway down the hallway as they discussed plans.

She tried to catch up to them, but stopped when she saw it. She stopped at the intersection of hallways, staring down the much larger hallway.

Colby looked behind him, seeing y/n stuck in a trance like state. He made his way back to her, nudging her to see what's wrong.

"Y-You guys don't see it don't you?" She whispered, her eyes glued on the other side of the barren hallway.

Colby and Sam looked over to where she was staring, unable to locate the problem.

"No, Y/n we only see the hallway." Colby shook his head, worry creeping into his skin.

As Sam tried to begin his sentence, Y/n quickly cut him off.

"Holy fuck, that thing just moved." Y/n whispered, her hands shaking a bit.

"What? What did you see?" Sam asked, looking around the hallway.

Y/n turned to the two, her eyes widened slightly.

"Okay, as I was about to make my way towards you guys," y/n explained. "I stopped because I heard this whisper, almost telling me to come over here kinda. So I look down the hallway and I see this fucking thing, it was like tall and black and clothed with some weird black clothes, it kept staring at me even when you guys came over. Then it grinned and walked away." She elaborated, her voice beginning to shake as she covered her mouth a bit with her shaking hand.

Sam and Colby look at each other for a moment, worried.

"Yeah, okay so already a lot of shit is happening." Sam sighed, feeling a pressure build up in his chest.

Colby nodded, licking his lips as he began to speak, "let's just get this investigation over with so we can leave," he suggested. "Are you okay to keep going?" He asked Y/n, his brows furrowed.

Y/n nodded her head, exhaling a deep breath out. "Yeah, just that freaked me out but i'm sure it's nothing." She convinced herself.

With that, the three made their way to one of the bedrooms, trying to contact one of the nicer spirits.

"Okay guys, so we have the new Alice box," Sam pointed the camera to the machine. "It's like a spirit box, reading through channels and frequencies so the spirits talk through it." He explained.

Y/n looked around the room a bit, examining the surroundings well. Colby couldn't help but stare at her face, watching as her eyes darted around. Y/n looked over to Colby's glance and Colby smiled a bit, causing her to blush yet again. She's lost track of how many times she caught him doing things that she keeps reading into. Clearly he's being friendly, but really how friendly?

"Okay let's ask some questions for the little girls that stay in this room." Sam began, clasping his hands after he turned on the small device.

"...hello?..."

A female voice rang throughout the room, the echo bouncing off the walls. Y/n furrowed her brows, pulling out her notebook as she began to scribble words that came up in her mind.

She stopped at the word, she looked down and thought of it for a moment. She noticed something, a pair of eyes on her notebook. But it wasn't a spirit, just colby snooping. She smiled a bit, turning her notebook over to Colby.

He looked at her then lined the pieces of paper with the random ink on letters and drawings. As he read the words, suddenly the Alice box answered.

"...chair..."

Colby's jaw hung open, looking over to Sam and the paper. Y/n's actions mimicking his.

"Dude," y/n gasped, displaying her notebook to Sam and the camera. "I wrote that not even 2 minutes earlier, Colby saw it too." She explained.

Sam’s mouth hung open a bit, shocked. "No fucking way."

But before they could say anything else, the Alice box spoke again.

"...girl..."

"I mean, this is the girl's room." Y/n explained. The two guys nodded, still confused what the spirits are trying to say.

"...man... hallway..."

Y/n froze, goosebumps running down her body. "Oh my god, it's talking about that thing I saw." She whispered.

"Do you know the thing that Y/n saw in that hallway?" Colby asked into the open air.

The Alice box stayed silent for a moment, occasionally spewing random words that didn't make sense. But as they were about to turn it off, it spoke.

"... can't say..."

"Can't say? Why can't you say anything?" Y/n asked yet again, scribbling into her notebook.

"...won't..." "...let us..."

"He maybe has a hold on them," Sam suggested, rubbing his chin slightly. "It's possible it's a demon." He added.

"...evil..."

They looked at each other and didn't say anything for a moment, Y/n turning her notebook over to reveal the word written on the paper. evil.

Then the rem pod near the door started going off, a chill running down Y/n's back as the room became cold.

"Okay, this is actually so freaky," Sam chuckled a bit, pointing the camera towards the door. "The rem pod went off after Y/n wrote evil AND the Alice box said evil."

Y/n sat up, ears perking up a bit as she listened carefully to the air. "Okay, I don't know if it's just me, but the room went completely freezing, and I feel something negative in here." She blurted out.

"Yeah, I feel the cold," Sam agreed. "Could it be that thing you saw earlier?" He inquired.

Y/n shook her head, "No, that was like paralyzing fear," She noted. "This one.. it's just mad." She whispered out.

Concern painted on Colby's expression, clearly reading her body language as uncomfortable.

"Hey, maybe let's end it in this room," Colby proposed. "A lot more places to investigate."

Sam nodded, reaching for the equipment as he turned it off. Y/n sat up, but quickly recoiled forward. Colby noticed it, confused.

"You okay?" he asked, helping her stabilize herself.

Y/n looked around as Colby held onto her arm. "Y-Yeah, just something pushed me," She answered. "like I was standing up, and I felt a shove on my upper back."

The group quickly exited the room, making their way down to the basement. They were going to explore more of the place, but seeing how y/n kept being targeted clearly for her abilities they weren't comfortable making her go through it.

The feeling of uneasiness returned, entering the frigid basement. The dim light still remained on, barely illuminating the space around them.

"Alright guys, we're going to the basement," Sam mentioned into the camera, showing the dark room. "We're going to do the Estes method down here, Colby is going to do it today." he spun the camera towards Colby's direction, zooming into his face.

"Wow, face of excitement right there." Y/n joked, causing Colby to break his monotone expression to light up with laughter.

She felt her heart jump, hearing his laughter brightening her spirit up. She could listen to it all day if she could. Colby soon sat on the barren concrete floor, Y/n handing him the blindfold followed with the headphones. His hands brushing up against her, followed by a smirk on his face.

She cleared her throat, backing away from him.

"Alright Colby, can you hear us?" Sam asked, testing out the volume. Colby doesn't say anything, listening to the random static coming through the headphones.

"Okay, whoever dwells in this basement, are you the supposed member of staff that passed away?" Sam questioned, awaiting Colby's answer.

"Perhaps." Colby replied.

"So it's a bit sassy." Y/n chuckled a bit followed by Sam's chuckles.

"Well, is it true you did rituals to keep this place running?" Sam added.

Colby stayed silent for a moment, trying to listen carefully to the voices ringing through.

"Force." Colby blurted. "protect," he continued.

They looked at each other, trying to decipher what was spoken.

"What did you do to protect this building?" Y/n asked, furrowing her brows.

"Colby." Colby said. "Crush."

Sam looked over to y/n and smirked a bit, "I think it's speaking for you."

Y/n smacked Sam playfully, a blush covering her face.

"Kissing," Colby furrowed his brow under his mask. "Tree."

Sam bursted into laughter, nearly dropping to the floor. Y/n covered her face with her hands, embarrassed. Colby, still oblivious to what's happening, is still spewing out words. Sam tapped him, alerting him to pull out of his trance.

Colby removed his blindfold, followed by the headphones. He noticed Sam's laughter and Y/n's embarrassed face behind her hands.

"What? What happened?" Colby asked, curious why Sam was practically rolling on the floor.

Sam calmed down, wiping the tears out of his eyes. “It said kiss and then tree,” Sam coughed a bit. “It was teasing you.” He pointed towards Colby.

Colby's face became warm, blushing until his face was red, “Yeah real funny, Sam.” Colby muttered with a sigh.

Y/n cleared her throat, cheeks still flaming hot. "Well, let's just continue what we came here for." Y/n grumbled, her arms folded on her chest.

Sam wiped his eyes, cooling down from his laughter. "Wow, that was too good."

Sam began making his way towards the stairs, leaving Y/n and Colby behind his trail.

"Sorry about him." Colby let out with a sigh, rubbing his neck.

Y/n smiled up at him slightly, "I-Its okay, I know he's just teasing." She blushed.

Colby simply nodded, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. It wasn't too long before they had explored the whole place, investigating where they could. But then the time to sleep in the actual building came, which y/n began overthinking about. She knew she agreed to sleep alone, but she was too scared after her encounter with that thing in the hallway.

"Alright guys, it's time for us to split up and sleep in separate rooms," Sam urged. "We figured with the whole Y/n seeing the spirit in the hallway, we're going to sleep in rooms next to each other just to ensure safety." Sam explained.

Y/n fiddled with her fingers slightly, anxiety beginning to heighten. She bit her lip as they began setting up camp in their rooms. She grabbed her sleeping bag, making their way towards one of the girl's rooms. her heart began beating against her chest as she sat on top of her sleeping bag, listening to every crack and noise around her.

She rubbed her face, trying to distract herself from her thoughts. But then she heard a faint knocking on the window directly behind her. She just stared at the moonlight that illuminated through the glass in front of her. She quickly sat up, quickly walking towards the closed door. As she opened the door, Colby's chest pressed up against hers. She yelped as she got freighted by the unexpected visit.

Y/n pressed her hand onto her chest, trying to calm herself down. "Holy shit Colby, you scared the fuck out of me!" She lightly slapped his chest.

Colby chuckled a bit, trying to lighten up the mood, "Sorry, I couldn't sleep, plus I knew this was your first time staying alone in a haunted place so I wanted to keep you some company." He admitted.

Y/n felt her heart softly flutter, touched by his gesture, "Yeah, I sorta kept hearing things, I was gonna go to you." She confessed.

Colby smiled, glad she found comfort in his presence, "Mind if I sleep in the same room as you then?" He requested.

"Not at all," Y/n quickly replied, walking back to her sleeping bag onto the floor. Colby followed, his pillow and sleeping bag in his hands. "I wonder if Sam is shitting himself alone." She chuckled as she hugged her knees close to her chest.

Colby sat next to her as he laid out his temporary bed, chuckling at the comment, "He'll be fine," He waved off, "After he laughed at us,he can sleep by himself."

Y/n laughed a bit, looking down towards the floor. Colby couldn't help but stare at her, admiring her features in the moonlight. She noticed his gaze, moving her attention back towards him.

"W-What?" She asked him, confused.

"Nothing," Colby shrugged. "You're just really beautiful." He whispered.

She flustered as she looked away as her cheeks painted with a deep color, "Oh, stop it." She muttered, playing with her fingernails.

Colby's fingers landed on her jaw, moving her to face back towards him. She looked up into his eyes, seeming to get pulled closer towards him.

"Well, it's true," He added, but couldn't help but lean towards her lips as his eyes kept glancing to her eyes and back to her lips. "I couldn't stop staring at you all day," he revealed.

She felt her body heat up, unknowingly pressing closer to him. "Well, maybe I knew," She replied, feeling his hand on top of hers. "Maybe I was staring too."

With that, Colby's lips landed on her. She gladly accepted as her lips pieced together perfectly. Colby's hand laced with hers, like previously that night. He lightly held her face, his thumb rubbing her cheek.

But soon, Colby pulled away, leaving them panting as they rested each other's forehead on one another. Y/n couldn't help but smile and chuckle a bit, causing Colby to wonder.

"What?" He wondered.

"Nothing," She added, rubbing her thumb on his hand. "Just, there were at least three little girls in here giggling." She confessed.

Colby let out a laugh, pulling away as he looked around the room, "Well, you guys should give us some space." He announced into the room.

The next morning, the sun began to shine through their window. The rays of light hitting their eyes, causing their eyes to flutter open. Y/n was the first one to notice him, seeing his wide smile on his face. Sam pointed the camera at the two, giggling as he noticed her to wake up.

Y/n looked over next to her, noticing the boy clung onto her as he laid onto her chest. She threw her pillow towards Sam, causing him to laugh loudly which woke up Colby. Colby rubbed his eyes, adjusting his vision to the bright room.

"What the-." Colby grumbled, looking up towards y/n's tired face.

"Dude, how long have you guys been cuddling?" Sam exclaimed, putting away the camera.

"Shut up sam." Colby muttered, his head landing onto his pillow. y/n sat up, covering her face.

"Sam, it's too early for this, can you please leave us alone." Y/n groaned.

"Fine, fine I'll let you love birds be." Sam teased, wiggling his brows a bit before he shut the door behind him as he left.

Y/n looked over to Colby who was laying on his side. She smiled a bit, still exhausted. He returned the smile, still amazed by her beauty.

"Does this mean you'd go out with me? or do you already know that I was gonna ask you out?" He finally asked.

Y/n chuckled dryly, "Colby, I’m a medium, not psychic," She rolled her eyes playfully. "But yes, I will go out with you."

Stalked | S.g.

Sam loved y/n, so much so that Sam let her finally move in. Well rather, they made it official. She had practically lived with Sam for a year now, always sleeping over and leaving all her things around his house.

It was great, she loved waking up to Sam every morning and making him breakfast. She adored how he'd show up for some of her streams and talk to her fans. Sam was the love of her life, there's no doubt behind that.

But recently something was off.

It started off with a few overly creepy dm's, saying perverted things to her. She would block them but they seemed to never go away, assuming as they made multiple accounts to send the horrid messages.

But then she felt like she was being watched, going out in public became sketchy for her. She noticed a hooded man in the coffee shop she frequented or around the corner in the supermarket.

Then, it was getting really out of hand. She would receive random packages from fans all the time, opening them on her live stream and laughing at gag gifts. But it was odd to receive gifts on her front porch, when she regularly received gifts via a P.O. Box. She had opened one, regretting it to this day.

In the box were various pictures of her around town, heart shapes surrounding her face. On top was a letter, long story short, she realized it was a stalker.

Sam and y/n tried to figure out a way to put a restraining order, but couldn't due to the fact that they didn't know this said man's identity.

Unfortunately, enough was enough. All she could do was go on another live stream tonight, explaining reasons why she wouldn't be streaming anymore. She propped up the camera, Sam in the back for moral support.

"Are you ready?" She weakly smiled.

Sam nodded, reaching for her hand as she sat back down as many fans joined in.

She tried to put on her bubbly personality, attempting to welcome many of the fans.

"Hey guys," she waved to the camera. "How are you guys?" She asked, placing her other hand on her chin as she looked at the various comments.

Her fans knew her all too well, quickly recognizing that something was wrong.

'oh no, y/n you okay? you look sad :('

'woah, mom and dad look so serious!? Are we in trouble?!'

Y/n smiled at the concern, "yeah, guys you have all been bad," she sternly pointed to the camera. "Right sam? We gotta take away their Xboxes." She turned over to Sam, causing him to chuckle.

"Yeah guys, who shit in the kitty litter? The cat's shit is not that big!" He joked trying to lighten up the mood.

Y/n smiled, squeezing Sam's hand a little stronger as she looked back at the camera.

"Alright guys, Imma wait a little longer for more people to get in just so they don't miss anything." She announced, continuing to read the comments.

'mother is mothering'

'y/n, ask sam when the next video is coming out?!'

'y/n is so pretty guys :)'

She turned to Sam, "they're asking about your next video, babe." She pointed out. "I don't know, I've been put under a contract not to discuss any future videos guys." She put her hands up in defeat.

Sam grinned at her before looking up at the camera, "Well, Colby will kill me for saying anything, but we're working on something to record tomorrow actually." He raised his brows, pursing his lips a bit.

"You heard it here folks, Sam is not retiring." She joked.

As they were goofing off and joking around, the viewer count went up to nearly 50k. She was impressed by the amount, amazed by her followers.

"Wow guys, there's 50 thousand of you here!" She cheered, raising her hands up into the air. "So now that we have a lot of your attention, don't get too distracted by this beautiful face." She pointed towards Sam.

Sam dramatically covered his face, pretending to be flustered. "Oh, stop it guys!" He responded with a high pitched voice.

Y/n playfully smacked his thigh as she giggled, "Well, so this is sorta sad news guys," she began, trying not to look at the comments. "But this will be my last stream for a little bit, just there's been stuff that came up and it's no longer safe for me to stream. I would go more in depth but again, for our safety I can't really say why."

She held back tears as she glanced over to her comments, fans practically panicking.

'what?! noooo :('

'omg what happened?!'

'nauuur! I look forward to your streams :,('

Y/n gulped, holding back tears as she read the comments. "Yeah guys, it's only temporary," she sighed, Sam holding her hand as he laced his fingers with hers. "But it's just to ensure safety for me and my loved ones, it's only until this problem goes away guys. I just gotta say, I love you guys, you guys give me purpose and I'm so thankful for that, so I hope you guys understand."

She weakly smiled, reading the many comments of support and touched by their kindness.

"Well with that guys, I'm just gonna end it here," she sighed, leaning towards her computer. "See you guys, hopefully soon." She blew a kiss into the camera before cutting the stream off.

She let out a sigh as she sat back down in her chair, a creak emitting from it. Y/n looked over to Sam, who offered her a smile as he rubbed his free hand on top of hers.

"You okay?" he asked her, furrowing his brows as worry coated his voice.

She nodded weakly, "I will be," she replied. "I just hate to stop streaming, I really want this stupid stalker to like chill the fuck out." She groaned as she rubbed her face.

"I'm sure it won't be long," Sam tried to comfort her. "I mean he hasn't been around for a while." Sam shrugged.

Y/n couldn't help but stare off into the ceiling, taking Sam's words sink in, "That's true," she mumbled. "I've had stalkers before, but they were never this bad." She emphasized.

Sam understood her frustration, he knew streaming was everything to her. She worked hard to please her fans, streaming every other night practically. He loved that about her, how caring she was and worked for her fans even when days weren't as good to her.

"Well let's get some sleep, okay?" Sam patted her thigh, standing up from his seat.

Y/n groaned, throwing her head back, "This feels so weird," She grumbled, mimicking Sam's movements and walking towards their bedroom. "Are you still going to that haunted hospital or whatever?" She asked him, removing her sweatpants and sweatshirt.

"Yeah, but I can always stay here with you if you want," Sam answered, watching her movements. "I can always reschedule it." He offered.

Y/n threw on one of Sam's t-shirts, jumping into bed next to him, "No, no, I'll be okay," She declined, stabilizing her head onto her hand. "I don't want you to disappoint your fans, plus the cameras you installed really give me a lot more comfort." She smiled, her heart warmed by his gesture.

"Are you sure? I-I just don't know how I feel about leaving you here all alone." Sam sighed, pulling her close to his chest.

"Yes, I'm sure sam." She laughed a bit, laying her head onto his chest. She listened to his heart beat against her ear, she breathed in deeply before looking up at sam. "I love you, you know that?" She whispered to him.

Sam smiled down at her, placing his finger under her chin as he pulled her into a kiss. "I love you more." He whispered back, pecking her on her forehead.

The next day, she watched as Sam packed various equipment into his bags. But he wouldn't stop pestering her about his offer, her refusing it every time.

"Okay, baby I will call you when I land, i'll check the cameras often, oh, and update me every like hour," Sam commanded, his suitcase in hand as his backpack strapped to his back. "I don't care if you think it's annoying, I just need to make sure you're okay."

Y/n laughed at his demands, kissing him on the cheek, "I promise, but youre gonna have to worry about Colby in about two seconds cause it looks like he's gonna drag you away." She joked, pointing at Colby in the car.

Sam sighed, "He’ll be fine," He rolled his eyes playfully. "Okay, I love you like a million, please be careful, okay? Lock all the doors and keep the windows locked, I'll call Celina or someone to come and keep you company." He suggested, landing a quick peck on her lips.

"Alright, love you too," She chuckled, embracing him into a long hug. "Okay, okay, now you have a safe trip okay? And make sure Colby brings you back in one piece." She joked.

She watched as Sam ran towards the car, looking back every few steps as he blew her kisses. She noticed Colby rolling his eyes, impatient as is.

Y/n sighed as she locked the door, making her way to the living room. She dropped down onto the couch as she exhaled a breath. She looked down on her phone, deciding to check up on her socials.

She was surprised by the sheer amount of support she received, fans encouraging her. She smiled at the many comments, her smile soon fading away as she looked at the random drama article of hers.

Streamer Y/N L/N, goes on break cause of STALKER?!

She rolled her eyes, of course they're trying to profit on her vulnerability. She threw her phone down onto the pillows, standing up onto her feet as she made her way towards the kitchen. She figured she could distract herself and make something to eat. Usually when she was bored she would stream, but for obvious reasons she couldn't cure her boredom at that moment.

After she had made some dinner, she turned on one of her favorite shows. She decided a few episodes wouldn't hurt to catch up on, resting her head onto a few pillows as stared at the screen.

A season and a half in, she heard her phone ding. She picked it up, letting the phone turn on and the message displayed on her screen.

sam:

just landed! How are things over there?

Y/n started typing out her answer, trying not to make it sound depressing as it felt.

y/n:

great, i'm just watching some of my shows right now :)

It didn't take long for the phone to ding again, Sam's response delivered onto her phone screen yet again.

sam:

sounds good

Do you want some company? I could send Jake or even Celina over

y/n:

I think i'll be okay for now

I prolly will be up for a while anyway so i'll let you know

sam:

okay, be safe babe

I love you 300 million tons baby!!!

Y/n smiled at the text, seeming to miss her boyfriend even more now.

y/n:

well I love you 300.01 million tons!

She shut off her phone, tossing it back to where it last was. She blankly stared into the TV screen as she tried to focus on the show. Her eyes began to grow heavy, slowly beginning to grow more tired.

It didn't take long before she found herself sleeping on the couch, the random show adding as a background noise.

She awoke from her sleep, hearing her phone buzzing next to her. She fluttered her eyes, looking outside at the now dark night that had overtaken the evening sun as she slept.

She groaned as she picked up her phone, Sam's name displaying on her screen with his photo on it. She mentally cursed herself for falling asleep, forgetting to update Sam. Y/n slid the answer button, bringing the phone up to her ear.

"Hey, sorry I fell asl-." But before she could answer, Sam cut her off with panic in his voice.

"Babe, Babe?! Are you okay?" Sam frantically asked. "Where are you right now?" He added, panic rising in his voice.

Y/n furrowed her brows, confused on why he had begun panicking over not updating him on her whereabouts.

"I'm just home, in the living room right now." She sighed, rubbing her eyes out of her tired state.

"Okay, okay, please tell me you locked all the doors and windows," Sam sternly replied.

Y/n stood up, noticing the TV had still been blaring. "Yeah, I locked the front door when you left and the backdoor had been locked, what's going on sam, you're really freaking me out." She grumbled.

"Y/n, please listen to me very carefully," Sam began, shaking in his voice. She heard him talk to another person in the back, something about a ride to the airport. "Go to our bathroom, and lock the door, please baby." He panted, hearing a car door shut in the background as he began to run.

Y/n just was more confused, but complied with his instructions. She began walking towards their bedroom, but froze when she heard a sound from downstairs. The sound of glass shattering echoed from the home.

She sprinted towards the bedroom, locking the door and entering the bathroom connected to it. She swiftly locked the bathroom door, backing away as she tried to cover her heavy breathing.

She forgot she was on a call with Sam, faintly hearing his loud shouts for her. She brought the phone back to her ear, barely stabilized in her shaking hand.

"Y/n!? y/n!? What happened?! Y/n, please answer me!" Sam shouted, calling out for her. "Was that glass breaking?!" He called out.

"Y-Yeah, I just heard someone fucking break a window or something downstairs," Y/n whispered into the phone. "Sam, I-I'm scared." Her voice cracked as tears began to spill onto her cheeks.

Sam cursed a bit in the background, "Fuck, it’s gonna be okay baby, I promise." His voice shook, distressed as he felt hopeless in this situation. "Colby called the police so they should be over there any moment, just stay there and don't make a sound, okay?" He informed her.

Before y/n could respond, she heard faint heavy footsteps make their way up towards the stairs. It seemed as if he had stopped at the end of the staircase, in front of the living room.

"Sam, I-I think he's upstairs," Y/n sobbed softly. "I’m so fucking scared, Sam." She whimpered out.

Sam cursed yet again on the other side, clearly frustrated and worried. "It's gonna be okay, Colby's still on the line with the cops, they said 5 more minutes, okay? Just don't say anything, it's g-gonna be okay." She heard Sam's frustrated sniffs as his voice cracked.

Slowly, the footsteps became louder. They thudded with each step, slowly making their way towards the locked bedroom. Y/n felt hot tears stream down her hot cheeks, her heart pumping as if she ran a marathon.

But then the footsteps stopped at the door to the bedroom. She listened carefully, her ears perking up to every sound. 5 minutes will feel like eternity. She listened as the door handle started jiggling to their bedroom, with a frustrated man's voice as he kicked the door once, then twice and with a loud crack as it swung and hit the wall.

She let out a scared squeal, Sam still shouting for her on the other side. She didn't dare to move, still intently listening as the man rustled around the room, trying to find something or someone.

She could practically feel her heart beating out of her chest, feeling nothing but pure fear as the man began stepping closer to the bathroom door.

Y/n found it odd when the man knocked. She didn't answer, letting yet another tear slip out of her eye. But she found it even more odd that he slipped a piece of paper under the door, seemingly blank.

Y/n prayed that the police would arrive any moment, rescue her from this nightmare. But mostly wanting Sam to be there for her, to protect her.

She shut her eyes, bringing the phone to her ear again. Sam kept calling out for her, freaking out. "Sam, If something happens, I-I love y-you okay?" She sniffed softly as she whispered softly into the phone.

"Y/n, don't say that! You're gonna make it just a little long-" as Sam was about to finish his sentence, the door cracked just like the one in the bedroom.

She jumped, tears spilling as she let out a sob. Just as quickly as he opened the bedroom door, the door ricocheted against the wall. She felt herself shake like a leaf as her back pressed up against the bathtub, watching intently as everything moved very slowly.

The background noise of Sam's voice and everything else drowned as she heard her heart beating, eyes glued to the broken door. The man slowly stepped closer inside the bathroom, turning his head very menacingly.

The masked man creeped into the bathroom, the glimmer of a blade in his hand. She let out a sob as she turned her head away, shutting her eyes shut as she prayed it was a nightmare she woke awake from.

She could practically feel his breath on her face, now kneeling in front of her. His hand at first moved to her face, tracing his fingers on her wet skin but then moving his attention to the phone clutched in her hand. He scoffed as he snatched the phone out of her hand, bringing it to his ear.

"Y/n? Y/n?! answer me, please." Sam begged on the other line.

"She's unavailable at the moment." The man's deep voice rang out in the bathroom.

"Dont you dare fucking touch her," Sam spat through the phone, gripping onto his phone with anger. "I swear to God, I will fucking kill you." He growled.

The man chuckled a bit, amused by his threats, "Well, I don't see you anywhere." He laughed.

Before Sam could give an answer, the man hung up the phone and set it down onto the counter. He turned back ever so slowly to her, staring down at the floor to avoid eye contact with her stalker.

He kneeled back down, looking at her as she cried.

"You're much prettier than I expected," He laughed, running his finger on a strand of her hair. "Don't be scared, only brought this if your little boyfriend would get in the way." He smirked under his mask, tilting the knife.

As y/n froze up, tensing under his touch, she heard the loud sirens pulling closer to her house. The red and blue lights filling up the room, causing the man to jolt up and look at her one last time.

"This isn't over." He mumbled, running out of the bathroom.

With him gone, she let out a sob as it rang throughout her body. She covered her face, trying to calm down and reassure herself it was all over.

Y/n heard the shouts of a police officer, warning the man to get down. She heard frantic footsteps run down the hall, afraid it was the man again.

But instead it was a female officer, her gun drawn out and a flashlight shining onto y/n's face. She lowered her weapon, turning to her shoulder as she spoke through the walkie.

"Are you y/n?" She kneeled down to her level.

Y/n nodded, "Y-Yes." she let out.

The officer reached for her hand, helping her up. Y/n's legs shook as she stumbled forward slightly, apologizing as she straightened herself up.

"It's okay, you have no need to apologize." She reassured, beginning to walk her out of the bathroom.

"T-That paper, he slid it under the door when I was locked in h-here." She pointed with trembling hands.

The officer nodded, kneeling as she lifted the paper. Y/n couldn't help but peek at the paper, curiosity eating at her.

From what it looked like, it was a love note as he declared his love for her. The officer's face retorted into a one with disgust, hiding it quickly from y/n.

"This will be put into evidence, my other officer will take you down to question you," She informed y/n, letting one of the other officers grab her arm and lead her down the hall.

Y/n's eyes wandered to the broken bits of wood that was flown across the room, their bedroom in complete disarray. She noticed that the same knife he had carried was now lodged into the broken door that hung loosely on the hinges, on the door was a picture of her and sam. Sam's face was scribbled on, with a few profanities scratched around.

Y/n felt sick to her stomach, unable to hold back tears as she trembled down the hall. The street was filled with cop cars, neighbors coming out to investigate the commotion. She spaced out, deep into thought as the police officer's informed her about the break in.

Y/n simply nodded, still in shock. Then she noticed a figure run up to her, Sam. She felt tears spilling out again and a wave of relief washed over her as she watched him sprint towards her, hugging her as he panted and sobbed into her hair.

"Thank fucking god," Sam cried, rubbing her hair as she trembled in his arms. "I'm so sorry, this is all my fault. I should've never left you alone." He cried, stroking her hair as he comforted her.

She peaked over his shoulder, the flashes of blue and red covered the streets. She watched as the officers handcuffed the now revealed man as his mask had been removed, pushing him into the back of the cop car. Y/n quickly looked away, determined not to be afraid of him any longer. As long as she had Sam, she was safe.

She didn't say anything, soaking his sweatshirt with her tears. He didn't let go of her, talking to the police as they interrogated him to find the story.

"Hey, can we do this another time?" Sam snapped, holding y/n as she rested her head onto his chest. "I would love to answer your questions, but she's been through a lot and I need her to rest." He sighed, stroking her hair softly.

The officer understood, handing him a card. They thanked them for their time, getting into the car as they sped away. Y/n sniffled, gripped onto Sam's arms tightly, as if he would leave again.

"You guys can stay at my place for the meantime," Colby offered. "I know your house is sort of a crime scene right now, and your doors are completely wrecked. I have the space." He added.

Sam nodded, thanking his best friend. Y/n hasn't said anything to Sam, still traumatized from her experience. She sat silent in the car, holding onto Sam's hand tightly as they drove. Sam couldn’t help but glance at her, guilt building up inside him.

When they had finally reached Colby's house, Sam followed y/n around. He was so afraid to leave her side again, y/n was comforted by his presence but she knew he had blamed himself for it.

Y/n laid on the bed, glancing at her phone as she looked at the many articles about her. She frowned at the media article, turning off her phone when she noticed Sam enter the room. Sam jumped into the bed, letting out a deep breath as he stared up for a moment.

"It's not your fault sam," Y/n began, causing Sam to avert his gaze to her. "If anything, I'm glad you weren't there, you didn't see what I saw." She added, looking over to him.

"Y/n-" Sam started, but was ultimately cut off by y/n.

"No Sam, don't blame yourself, I told you to go," her voice cracked, fighting back tears that threatened to spill. "He would've hurt you, o-or killed you." She let out a sob.

Sam didn't say anything, pulling her into his chest as she let out tears. He whispered to her that everything's gonna be okay, kissing her head as he petted her hair.

"T-There wasn't much you could do, Sam," She whispered, sniffing. "He came there to hurt you, you did the right thing to call the cops." She commented, looking up at her boyfriend.

Sam half smiled down at her, "I know, just I wish I was there to protect you, I'm sorry." He mumbled, sniffing back tears.

She smiled, placing her palm onto his face. "It's okay Sam, I'm okay," She reassured. "I have you around me to protect me now." She shushed softly.

Sam nodded, reaching for her hand off his face. "It's all over," He sighed. "That's all that matters, you're safe."

Sam wrapped his arms around her, her head pressed against his chest as she listened to his heart beat gently against her ear. It didn't take long for her to finally rest, his scent and gentle heartbeat to soothe her to sleep.

"I'm never leaving you ever again." Sam whispered to her, kissing her head.

Warnings: pregnant!reader being touched, scratched, and talked to by the spirits, talk about death, murder, etc., dark entities, mentions of throwing up, some kissing, mostly fluff.

Word count: 6.7k | not edited

"What's up guys it's Sam and Colby, and today we have Y/n with us as well." Colby motions towards you and Sam moves the camera to you, "Hey guys."

"You excited?" Sam asks smirking at you from behind the camera. You raise your eyebrows and sighs, "I mean, I can't lie. I am pretty excited."

"Colby." Sam moves the camera back to him, "Wanna tell them why y/n is so excited to be here today?"

Colby smirks and presses his hands together, "Today.." he turns to look at you then back to the camera, "Y/n is going to be the one doing the Estes method."

Sam lets out a long and cheery, "Yeahhhhhhhh."

You laugh, "Yeah, yeah." You shake your head and Sam hands the camera to Colby and moves next to you, "Is there any reason as to why you chose to do it today, at this location?"

You nod, "I don't know, but when you told me about the history and the background about this place, you know filling me in, I got this feeling like I just had to do it here, you know?" You look from Sam to Colby, "Like I have to do it."

"That's spooky." Colby smirks, "But, as always. We'll be right there. If it gets to be too much, at any point during the investigation, just let us know."

"Such gentleman." You smirk and laugh.

"We try. We try." Sam shrugs and looks back at the old hotel, "Alright. Are we ready to go in?" You take a deep breath, "I guess so."

Colby lunges forward a few steps, his voice stained, "Let's do it."

He turns the camera off and hands it to Sam. He spins you so you're facing him, "I just wanted to say that I love having you on these things with us."

You smile and shrug, "I like being on these things with you."

He smiles and nods before leaning in to give you a quick peck on your lips. Sam groans, "Can you guys wait until we get inside, at least you'll have a hundred rooms to choose from."

You look over at Sam who can't contain his laughter and you give him the finger, "You're just jealous, Golbach."

"Jealous of what, y/l/n?" Sam rolls his eyes and you smirk as you walk up to him, "That I get to kiss Colby and you don't." You laugh as you walk by and Colby wraps an arm around Sam's shoulder, "Don't let her fool you, you can kiss me if you want."

You look back and see Sam pushing Colby away, laughing as Colby has his lips pushed out trying to kiss his cheek.

"Hey now." You point, "I don't want to have to kick your ass."

Sam laughs and Colby jogs up to you, "That would be incredibly hot on your part." You smirk and push on the door.

"Mm. I can't.." you push the door again, "I can't get this.. door to open.."

"That's because.." Sam walks up, camera rolling, "You have to pull it, dummy." Sam pulls the door open and you just stand there, "There should be a sign or something."

Colby lays a hand on your lower back, "S'okay, babe." He chuckles, "come on." He leads you inside and you stand there, surprised that the inside has power.

"The outside looks so abandoned, you wouldn't think the inside would be lit up like this." Colby turns to Sam and right as Sam is about to say something, there's a knock from down the hallway.

"Is there anyone else here?" Sam asks looks back at you guys from the hallway.

"No the owners left. They said no one but use would be here." You say whipping around to the other side, "there it was again, but on that side." You point and look back at Sam, "Mayne we should just start right here. Get the rem pod out, I'm sure we'll ge-"

Sam yells and jumps, "Whoa, hey. Something just grabbed my jacket."

"Seriously?" Colby asks moving around to look, "Like where? Here?" He moves his hand up, figuring out where Sam was grabbed.

You wait for him to calm down before making a comment, "I mean, I'd come after you to for wearing a jacket like that."

He glares at you, fighting back his laugh, "That's.. mean.. y/n. You're so mean lately." You shrug, "I'm just being honest, Sam."

Colby laughs and shakes his head, "you guys. It's insane how we literally just walked in and were already getting so much activity, like the owner said that it usually wouldn't happened until a little bit later on in the night."

Sam sighs, "I know, I know. I don't understand that." He hands Colby the camera and takes the REM pod from his backpack, "This is the REM pod, as some of you guys may know, the spirits come around, touch this little thing here and it lights up for us."

He walks over, setting it down by the one hallway.

"I can put the music box over by the other?" You ask and they nod, "Yeah so that way we know-"

Colby gets cut off by footsteps above you guys, and they're heavy. You freeze, staring up at the ceiling as your head moves slowly with the footsteps that slowly grow quiet the further away they go.

"Did you get that?" Sam asks looking over at Colby.

Colby nods, "I'll be surprised if I didn't. Those were loud."

The REM pod goes off, you haven't even gotten the music box out of Colby's bag yet, "Shit." Sam turns, "If that's the spirit of Adeline Nielsen, can you please make that go off ag-"

The light goes off and Sam looks back, wide eyed, "What the fuck."

"Adeline, touch that light if there's anyone else with you." Sam say and lays his fingers over his lips, waiting.

Nothing.

"Are you alone?" Colby asks and the light goes off, "Okay. Thank you."

You turn around, getting the intense feeling that you're being watched. You don't see anything, but you can certainly feel that something is there, "C-Colby."

You feel his hand on your shoulder, "Hey, what's up?"

You blink and look over at him, "I just got.." you take a deep breath and move closer to him. He hands the camera to Sam and wraps an arm around your waist, "what's going on?"

You feel like you could puke, like a massive wave of nausea just washed over you.

"I just got this.. feeling that something was watching me.. or us.. I don't know. I got this sudden feeling like I was gonna throw up." You look over at Sam and back to the hallway, "It was weird."

"Do you need to take a break?" Sam asks and you shake your head, "No. I'm good now." You sigh, "I'm good."

"You sure?" Colby looks down at you and you look up at him, "Yeah, Colbs. I'm good." You smile up at him and he nods, "Okay."

The REM pod goes off again, "Adeline, we know you're a good spirit, so please, feel free to follow us around the hotel if you'd like."

As sam walks over to grab the pod from the floor, it goes off and he stops and looks at you and Colby, "I'm not even close enough to make that go off."

"Maybe she wants to talk to us now." You suggest and it instantly goes off again. You raise your eyebrows, "do we have the spirit box?"

"Yeah, I can run out and grab it." Colby says giving your arm a squeeze. He leans in, whispering, "I don't know what it is, but I have this feeling you need to stay with either me or Sam this entire time."

You give him a weird look and he shrugs, "I don't know, y/n. Just please don't go wandering off."

You nod, "I won't. I won't. I promise."

He nods and goes out to the car to get the equipment. You walk over to Sam and he looks up at you, holding his hand out, "Wait.. do you hear that?"

You listen, and you hear distant footsteps, "Maybe it's Colby?" Sam moves over to the window, looking out and he shakes his head, "No Colby is standing at the trunk of the car."

You beat the footsteps again, this time they sound like they're walking right up to you.

"Sam.." you sniff the air and he turns to you, camera pointed at you, "I smell hairspray."

He gives you a funny look and sniffs, "I don't smell it."

You motion for him to come over to you, "Right here." You motion to right in front of you and he walks over, sniffing the area, "oh shit. You're right."

Colby walks back in, stopping as he sees you and Sam smelling the air, "Um.. what the hell are you doing?"

"Hairspray." You both say and Colby shakes his head, "No sorry I left mine at home."

You laugh, "No, Colby. It smells like hairspray but only like.." you motion, "Right here."

He walks over after closing the door and you guys are head to head, with the camera angled up at you guys as you move around sniffing.

"That's so weird, it's literally only right here." Sam leans back shaking his head. You lean in, "And now it's gone."

Colby leans in, eyes going slightly wide, "That's fucking crazy." He snaps, "You know, Martin did say that they also had quick whiffs of that too, apparently that was a big thing for all the women to have back then."

"No dude you're right." Sam nods, "That's crazy."

"We can definitely ask if it was Adeline." You take the spirit box from Colby's hands and walk over to the lobby area, setting it down on the small coffee table.

They follow, leaving the REM pod in its place.

"Whenever you're ready, y/n." Sam says giving you the go ahead to turn it on. You nod, sitting down in the chair and leaning forward.

Colby moves behind you, gripping the back the chair as he leans on it, "Hello, my name is Colby. These are my friends Sam and y/n. We would like to speak with whoever is willing to communicate with us."

"..speak.."

"Are we speaking to Adeline Nielsen?" Colby asks, pausing so you guys can listen. You exchange looks with Sam and Colby when nothing is said for a few minutes.

"Is this someone else?" Sam asks and you get a cool chill down your spine, causing you to sit up. Colby looks down at you, "What was that?"

"I just got a chill." You laugh nervously and Colby gently squeezes your shoulder.

"..it's me.."

Your head snaps towards the spirit box, "Who? Adeline?"

".. try again.."

You and Colby look at Sam, trying to remember if Martin said anything about any dark entities roaming the halls.

It's crazy how everything disappears from your mind when once the investigation actually starts.

"Um. Um." Sam taps the chair, "The maid. She was the one going around poisoning the women that Sebastian was bringing in, right."

Colby snaps, pointing to Sam, "Fuck, yes. Right right." He clears his throat, "Is this the maid that poisoned all of those women?"

".. so young.."

"All those women? They were mid twenties." Sam says moving over closer to you and Colby, "Why did you kill them?"

".. full of life.."

"Were you jealous?" Colby asked, "Were you jealous that he kept bringing those young women here?"

You tilt your head, "guys.." you shake your head,

".. not them.."

"I don't think she's talking about the girls.." you look up at Sam and he tilts his head slightly, "What do you mean?"

You couldn't describe it, but you just had this weird and very eerie feeling about what she was talking about, and the women who were murdered, weren't it.

"I just.." you shake your hands, "i can't shake this feelings that she not talking about the women she killed."

"Who else would she be talking about?" Colby moves to sit next to you.

"..secrets.."

"Did you kill other people?" You ask, waiting for a response but you sadly get nothing.

"Okay. I say we move to a new area." Sam leans forward, switching off the box, "Room 111, Sebastian's room."

"Maybe we can get more info there and try to piece this puzzle together." Colby nods, standing up, "You ready?" You look up at him, standing up as Sam doesn't grab the REM pod, "Yeah, I'm ready."

You make your way down the hall, stopping every so often because of knocking.

"That's following us." Colby points to the wall, "What if it's Adeline?"

Sam shrugs, "Could be."

"Why didn't she talk to us on the spirit box?" You ask and look at Colby before answering your own question, with a question, "What if she was scared of the maid?"

"Adeline was one of the victims, so it very well could be. The maid seems to be very intimidating from what I understood." Colby nods, looking from you to Sam.

Sam turns, "Adeline, if that is you, can you make that noise again for me please?"

You guys wait patiently and there a knock, a sigh of relief leaving their lips, but a part of you still didn't believe it.

"Okay. Let's just keep going. I think it's at the end of this hall up the steps." Colby points and takes the camera from Sam.

Sam walks ahead, "It was said that there was at least seventeen women killed by the maid here in this room, and I mean that's not even counting the implied others from whatever that was back there." He motions behind him as you walk up the steps.

You stop, looking from the bold numbers on the door to Sam and Colby, "We came, we saw, we can go." You laugh, which makes them laugh, "After you, Golbach."

He scoffs, "Oh yeah, use me as bait, like I don't have enough things attached to me." Sam smirks and shakes his head as Colby chuckles. Sam reaches for the knob, just as his hand wraps around it, there's a knock on the other side.

"Was that from in there?" Colby asks pointing, "That was oddly close."

Sam takes his hand from the knob and lifts it, knocking gently on the door. You bring your thumb up, chewing on your nail as you feel like you could puke again.

"You okay?" Colby asks and you look at him, "Mhm." You nod, "Yeah. That just kinda scared me." You laugh nervously and look back at the door.

Colby could tell there was something more going on. But he doesn't like to push you with questions. He knows that if you aren't okay, you'll come to him.

But that's the thing, you felt fine most of the time. It was only for a short, split second periods where you could feel like you could pass out or throw up.

You just thought it was the spirits because it's happened before, or at least, something like this, maybe not as intense.

"Okay, let's just announce ourselves as we go in." Sam looks at you and Colby and you both nod, "Okay."

Sam twists the knob, slowly opening the door, "Hello, I'm Sam. I mean no harm but coming in here." He walks in and you walk in behind him, instantly feeling off, but you shrug it off, "Hello. I'm y/n.. I come in peace, no harm at all."

Colby follow, announcing himself, "I'm Colby. I'm with these two, also meaning no harm." He steps in, panning the camera around the room slowly, "You know, it looks like a normal hotel room but-"

Sam cuts him off, "The vibe is way off. Something is here."

The door shuts, causing you all to jump.

"Oh fuck."

"What the hell."

"Jesus Christ." You lay a hand on your chest, heart racing under your own touch, "I guess they wanted the door closed." You laugh slightly, trying not to be as scared.

"I guess so." Sam sighs, "Okay. Um. So what do we want to do here?"

Him and Colby exchange glances and Colby shrugs, "Why don't get out the EMF?" Sam nods, "Okay, yeah. That way we can-"

A knock on the door silences Sam and his mouth drops open. You look from the door to Sam and he mouths, "What the fuck?"

You go behind Colby, getting out the EMF, "Where do you want it?"

Colby points, "the bed is probably the bed option." He looks at Sam and he nods, "Yeah, that's where a lot of them got sick and then died, so."

He sucks air through his teeth, "Lets get-" he stops and points, "There's that knocking."

You and Colby look at each other and listen, but nothing.

"I swear there was knocking." Sam says and you nod, "No sam we believe it." You walk over to the bed and as you're positioning the box and getting ready to turn it on, you feel something grab at your ankle.

You let out a slight scream and jump back into Sam. He lays a hand on your back to steady you as you grab your ankle, "Fuck, ow, what the fuck."

"What happened?" Colby moves over, handing Sam the camera so he can take a look, "Fuck, Sam look."

Sam leans around, eyes going wide as he sees the red line going over your ankle bone, "are you okay? Y/n." He looks up at you, "Are you good?"

You rub your fingers over the line, nodding, "It burned at first but now it's fine." You set your foot down on the ground and Colby backs you up away from the bed, "You're going to stay over here."

"Fine by me." You sit down in the chair, "Bringing your ankle up to rest on your knee, "let's just get started." You turn on your flashlight from your phone, examining the mark.

"Y/n just got scratched." Colby says to the camera. He turns to you, "Do you mind if I show the camera?" You look up at him and shake your head, "No go ahead." You extend your leg out and Colby holds your leg with his hand, moving your pant leg up a little.

Sam comes over with the camera, "They seem to be after her, but the question is.. why?"

"Do you think the maid could be jealous of her? I mean the maid did say young.. full of life? Y/n is still young and to what the elderly would consider full of life?" Colby rests your leg down on the floor and turns back to Sam.

"Let's ask. Seems like the only thing we can do right now." Sam walks over, looking down at his feet every so often as he stitches the EMF on.

"So this will give us yes or no answers basically. Green for yes, red for no. Pretty basic." He explains, "is there anyone here with us?"

Instant green light.

"Is it Sebastian's girls?" Sam follows up and it's a green light, followed by an instant red. He turns and looks back at you and Colby, "So it's them and someone else?"

Instant green light.

"Was it one of Sebastian's girls that scratched y/n?" Colby asks crossing his arms and it's an instant red light, "Was it the maid?"

Instant red light.

"If it wasn't-" Colby stops and looks from you to Sam, "Sebastian. Did you scratch y/n?"

Instant green light.

"You do not have permission to touch us. Understand? You cannot touch us. Hurt us. Follow us in any way." Colby's voice is deep, loud. Kind of a turn on, but it's ruined by the feeling of needing to puke.

"Y/n. Are you okay? You just got really, really pale." Sam asks glancing at Colby, "Maybe we should take a break."

You nod, standing up, "Y-yeah."

.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.

After making your way outside, you beline off to the side, finally puking.

Colby rushes up behind you, his hands pulling your hair back from your face, "Hey. Hey." His hand that isn't holding your hair rubbing your back gently, "You're okay, baby."

He glances back at Sam who's standing by the door and back to you, "Was it the room?"

You slowly stand up, wiping your mouth on the sleeve of your sweatshirt, "I don't know, I don't feel like it was, but at the same time.." you shrug, "It's hard to say."

"What do you mean?" He tilts his head, "I'm not following."

You sigh and look around, "I didn't really feel good before coming here." You notice Colby frown and you quickly follow up, "Now I know I'm not supposed to do this blah blah, but at the same time, that's when we were at home. I felt fine on the car ride here and when we got here."

He sighs, "Are you okay?"

You nod, "Yeah, now that I threw up, I feel better than I did before we got here." You laugh slightly and he just pulls you in for a hug, "Y/n." He sighs, "If you don't feel good, you shouldn't be doing this." He whispers, kissing you on the head.

You nod, "I know, but I just.. really wanted to be with you today."

That wasn't a lie, something in you needed to be with Colby or you would have sat home and cried, which wasn't like you at all. Normally, you'd be fine with a call or a text here and there while they did an investigation, but lately, you couldn't go without him.

You didn't know what was happening.

He smiles and sighs, "you drive me nuts."

"You love me." You smirk and he nods, "That I do." He kisses your cheek, "very much."

You turn your head, "can I get some gum from the car before you kiss me, please?" He chuckles and nods, "I suppose so." He let you go and you walk over to the car, opening the door and grabbing your pack of Tropical Twist gum.

You take a piece out, unwrapping a piece before popping it into your mouth. You chew it a few times before gagging and spitting it back into the wrapper, "What the fuck."

You look around, opening the console and finding another pack. You grab a piece of the Spearmint and it works.

"Everything go okay?" Sam asks as you walk back up to him and Colby. You nod, "Yeah, but I just about threw up over my tropical gum. It was weird."

"This whole place is weird." Sam turns and looks towards the door, "Are you sure you want to go back inside?" He looks back to you and you nod, "Yeah. I'm good."

Colby looks at you and you smile at him, "I'm fine, Colbs. I promise."

"We aren't going back into Sebastian's room." Colby shakes his head, "No way in hell."

You and Sam look at each other and back to Colby. Colby looks between you both and shakes his head again, "No. absolutely not. No."

"Colby." You step towards him, "You guys need this. This is why you came here." He lays his hands on your shoulders, "You got scratched in that room, y/n. I'm not-"

"Then why don't we do it in the hallway." You suggest cutting him off, "We won't be in the room, we'll be outside of it. We can set the music box right outside of the door. Open it up. And that way if anything crosses the threshold, we'll know."

Sam raises his eyebrows and looks at Colby, "I knew you liked her for a reason." He smirks and Colby shakes his head, trying to hide his smile, "Shut up, Sam."

"See. You know it'll work that way too." You poke his chest, "We can do the Estes method."

His eyes move to you and he stares at you, "You still want to do that?"

"Of course I fucking do." You laugh, "That's why I'm here, right?"

You can tell that he has some hesitation at first, but eventually gives in, "Fine. But it starts getting any sort of fucked, I'm pulling you out of it." He nods towards you and raises his eyebrows and you nod, "deal."

Colby takes your hand, interlocking his fingers with yours and squeezing your hand as you walk back inside.

He doesn't say another word, mainly because he's thinking about you. Anxiously racking his brain as to why the spirits here would be targeting you.

You guys stop outside of room 111 and you squeeze his hand, pulling him to turn towards you, "Hey. You good?"

He smiles and nods, "I'm always good."

You tilt your head and Sam butts in, "Colby. You are not always good."

He looks over at Sam and rolls his eyes, "I'm fine, guys. Let's just.." he motions to the camera, "Before I do change my mind." He smirks slightly and brings your hand up, pressing his lips to the back before dropping it and letting go to swing his bag off his shoulder.

You take a deep breath as Sam starts rolling, "So we talked." He pauses and looks at you and Colby, "And we decided that we're going to do the Estes method with y/n, out here in the hallway."

"So I was thinking." You say, catching their attention. Colby stops unraveling the headphones and stares at you. You look at them, "Maybe I can start doing the session before you guys open the door. You know what I mean?"

A wave of relief washes over Colby as he was afraid you were going to ask to go into the room.

"That's actually a good idea." Sam nods and looks at Colby. He nods, "Yeah, no. That's actually a better idea."

You smile slightly and to sit in the center of the hallway, facing the closed door to room 111.

"Are you ready?" Sam asks and you look up at him, "Ready."

"Just repeat what you hear out loud, okay?" Colby says and you look up, nodding up at him. He's standing over you, looking down at you with a blindfold in his hands.

Definitely not a new sight to you.

He gently lays the fabric over your eyes, tying it in the back, "That tight enough?" You nod, "Mhm."

You couldn't lie, you were shitting your pants.

"Alright. Here we go."

Colby's words were the last words you heard before the loud sound of white noise filled your ears from the headphones.

"Adeline is here.." you say as soon as you hear the words.

"Adeline.. I'm glad that you're here." Sam says with a nod, "Can you tell us if anyone else is here?"

"Evil man.." you tilt your head, ".. hurt us.."

"Are you talking about Sebastian?" Colby looks from you to Sam and shakes his head, "He didn't hurt them did he? Only ever-"

"The maid .. hates us.."

"The maid was jealous of you wasn't she?" Sam asks, "Can you tell us if she killed anyone else?"

"Jealousy.. she is.."you straighten up, "..y/n.."

Colby clenches his jaw and tilts his head, "is she jealous of y/n?"  He looks to Sam and back down to you.

"Very much.."

"Why?" Sam asks, "is it because y/n is young? Just like you and the other girls were?"

There's a few moments to where it's just the noise and Sam and Colby just look at each other shrugging.

"Adeline.. can you tell us wh-"

You cut Colby off, "Full of life."

"That's what was said downstairs.. I don't.." Colby sighs, "I'm not following." He shrugs, "Can you tell us more please?"

"She wants it."

"Who? Who wants want, Adeline?" Sam asks, "The maid?"

"Yes.. her.. she wants her.." you pause, "Life.. in y/n.."

"Life.. in y/n.." Sam and Colby both repeat. Colby shrugs, shaking his head, "What does that mean exactly?"

"Maid.. wants the baby.." you can feel yourself growing sick again, "She wants it."

"No no no no." Colby starts tapping your shoulder and he takes the headphones off of your head.

"Colby? What?" Sam looks at Colby with a scared and confused look. You take the blindfold off and spins around slightly to look at him, "Colby?"

He looks pale, almost like he's the one who could throw up.

"We have to get out of here." He lifts you to your feet and shoves the equipment into the bag. You look at Sam and he shrugs, "Colby." You look back at him and he takes your hands in his, "Just.. come on."

He pulls you down the hall, Sam following behind the both of you, slightly frantic, "Colby.. yo Colby.."

You look back at Sam as Colby keeps a grasp on your hand. You make your way to the door and he pulls it open, leaving it for Sam to close.

"Colby. Hey. Talk to us. What's-"

Colby cuts you off, "Turn the camera off, Sam." Sam walks over, turning the camera off, "Okay. Now will you tell us what's going on?"

Colby licks his lips and pulls his lower lip between his teeth, "I think.." he pauses and you step towards him, "What, colby?"

"I think you're pregnant." The words roll off of his lips a slightly mumble and your eyes go wide.

"Huh!?" Sam yells leaning forward and you can't help but laugh at him, "Exactly what he said." You point to him and look back at Colby, "What do you mean exactly?"

Colby laughs nervously, "The way.. the way everything was going.. it just.. it just sounded like the maid wanted you because you were full of life, and it wasn't because you were young. Literally because you're-" he point to your stomach, "-Full of life."

You shake your head laughing, "No.. no. There's no way."

Sam sighs, "The walls are very thin. I can attest to that."

"Not helping, Golbach." You slap Sam's shoulder gently and turn towards Colby, "what do you want to do?"

"I want to go. Right now. Get some test. And I want you to pee on them. That's what I want you to do." Colby stares at you and Sam can't help but laugh.

"Sam." He looks at him and Sam holds his hands up, "I'm sorry. I just.. this is just so unreal right now."

You laugh slightly until you start thinking, "Maybe that why I got sick?"

Sam's face goes serious, "Oh fuck. That's right." He looks at Colby, "she has been extra mean lately too."

"Yeah, you've said that already today, Sam." You glare at him and he motions to you, "Point proven."

Colby smirks slightly, at the banter and thinking about the possibility of you being pregnant, "Let's just.. go and we'll figure it out."

.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.

As you stood at the hotel bathroom sink, staring down at the five tests laid out, you felt nauseated.

You weren't sure how you felt.

You knew a lot could happen in the spirit world, I mean hell, Sam and Colby proved the afterlife while at the Conjuring, but this..

This felt surreal to you.

Maybe because it was actually involving you?

And Colby?

And a possible baby?

You sigh, shaking your head as you uncapped each one. One by one you dipped them into the little cup that contained your pee and you flipped them over, face down because right now, you don't think you could stomach the result.

You loved Colby, but you both were young. You guys have been together for a while, yes. But you haven't even talked about started a family.

It was all about the adventure of investigating the ghost world.

You capped the last one, setting it down to clean up before wrapping your arms around yourself. You slowly back up into the wall, staring at the tests as you think.

You felt your lips pulling into a slight smile as you pictured Colby holding your baby for the very first time. Imagining his little baby talk to whatever may be in your belly.

You weren't opposed to this at all.

"Colby." You call out, "Sam."

The door opens and Colby peaks his head in, "Yeah, babe?" You motion for him to come in, "Sam, too."

He glances back at Sam who follows Colby in, "What's up?"

You motion towards the test, "I took each one. I can't look. It's been two minutes or so. We need to read them now."

Sam lays a hand on his chest, "you.. you want me to look at them?"

You nod, "I can't."

Sam looks at Colby and he nods, wrapping an arm around you, his thumb rubbing your hip gently as Sam walks over to the counter.

He sets his phone up, pressing record, "Just in case. You never know." He laughs slightly and you roll your eyes with a slight smile.

You hang onto Colby, slightly nervous now that it's the moment of truth.

Sam flips the first one over, then is very quick to flip the next one over then so on until they're all flipped over, "Holy mother of god."

"What!? What Sam?" You step forward and he turns around, "I'm gonna be Uncle Sam."

Colby stares at Sam for a few seconds before laughing slightly, "That might be the most patriotic thing I've ever heard you say."

You laugh, tears welling in your eyes, "Oh my god.." your voice cracks, "He's Uncle Sam."

"Aw, baby." Colby pulls you into his chest and Sam walks over, hugging both you and Colby, "I'm Uncle Sam."

He leans back, looking from you to Colby, "And you're mom and dad."

"Oh my god." Colby looks down at you, a serious look taking over his face, "We're mom and dad."

You nod, smiling as a stray tear slips down your cheek, "a frickin ghost told us that."

You walk over, pulling your phone out to take pictures of the tests laying on the counter, "Oh my god.. this isn't.." you pick up the tests, examining how dark the lines are, "This isn't real."

Colby walks up behind you, laying his hand gently on your belly, "Believe it baby. It's happening." He gently presses a kiss to your cheek, "We got this." He looks up at you in the mirror, "We have Uncle Sam on our side."

You all burst out laughing as you both look at Sam in the mirror, "That's never going to get old."

.·:*¨ ✘ ¨*:·.

"You and baby are doing fantastic." The doctor says as she wipes off the gel from your small bump, "Would you like to know the gender?"

You bite your lip, looking at Colby immediately. He squeezes your hand, "can you write it down on a piece of paper? We want to surprise someone with it by writing their baby's name on it."

She smiles and nods, "Of course I can." She stands up, "Give me a few moments." She gets up and leaves the room and Colby pulls his phone from his pocket, smiling, "it's sam. Again."

"Yeah, brother?" He answers as he puts the phone on speaker and Sam sighs on the other end of the line, "About time. Did you find out yet?"

"Not yet. She's getting it for us now." You say as you wipe the rest of the gel off, "We have a surprise for you."

Sam goes quiet, "You do?"

"Uh huh. Now just sit there and be patient." Colby laughs as the doctor comes back in, "gotta go. We'll be back soon."

"Alright, bye." Sam hangs up and Colby lays his phone down. The doctor comes over, "You guys can take all the time you need, no rush to you at all. Congratulations." She winks as you take the envelope and you and Colby smile, "Thank you."

"See you in four weeks, y/n." She leaves the room and you press the envelope to your chest, "Oh my god.." you look at Colby and hold your hand out, "I'm so nervous."

Colby takes your shakey hand into his, kissing it, "Whenever you're ready, babe." He looks up at you, "I love you."

You smile, "I love you." You lean in, pressing a kiss to his lips, "I want to record this, you know so we can make that video for everyone."

He nods and smiles, "I totally forgot." He sets his phone up at the end of the bed, propping it up on a pillow, "Alright. Whenever you're ready."

You slowly open the envelope, pulling out the folded sonogram.

You take a deep breath as you turn it towards Colby and open it. He gasps and a hand slaps over your mouth, "Oh my go-" your voice cracks and you lay your  head on his shoulder as you start to cry.

"It's a girl." He says, "oh shit." He lays a hand on your head, kissing your forehead, "It's a girl, baby."

You sit up, wiping your face, "oh my god." You sigh, "I was right." Colby nods, "That you were." He lays his hand on your belly, his fingers gently scratching, "I'm so fucking happy right now."

You nod, "I couldn't agree more."

Once you guys got everything together and checked out, you headed home to where Sam was waiting patiently.

"It's about time." He says standing up from the couch as soon as you walk through the door. You laugh and motion back towards the couch, "You're going to want to sit back down for this."

He looks between you and Colby, "What is this?"

You smile and hold up the envelope, "This is top secret information, Golbach."

He sits right back down on the couch, "Gimme." You walk over as Colby gets his phone out to record Sam, and you hand him the envelope.

Sam opens it, slowly pulling the sonogram from it and unfolding it. His eyes scan over it, going wide as his eyes read over the word GIRL.

"Get out. Oh my god." His head snaps to Colby, "Colby's a girl dad!" Colby chuckles, "Colby's a girl dad."

"Ayyyyye!!" Sam cheers and goes to get up but you stop him, "Wait, Sam. There's more."

He turns towards you, "More?" He opens the envelope to see a smaller piece of paper in the bottom, "Ohh." He pulls it out, unfolding it and you can see the tears form as he reads, "Hi Uncle Sam.."

He sighs and shakes his head, "I can't wait to meet you, I thought you should be the first person, besides mom and dad to know my name, so i would like to introduce myself.."

"No." He pouts and wipes his eyes, "Sami Grace?" He leans over, pulling you in for an immediate hug and you can feel him crying , "Thank you."

You wrap your arms around him, whispering, "You've been there for Colby through everything. We love you tremendously."

He leans back, laughing as he wipes his face, "Fuck." He looks up at Colby, "You better not be filming this you asshole."

Colby laughs and walks over, pulling Sam into a hug after he hands you his phone to keep recording, "You know I have to. I love you brother."

"I love you, brother." Sam mumbles as he grips ahold of Colby's jacket, "I'm so exited to see you in fairy dresses." He leans back laughing and Colby sighs, "I guess that's my future, huh?"

You laugh and nod, setting down his phone, "Oh yeah. But don't worry. She'll have one just for Uncle Sam, too."

nectar of the gods || colby brock ||

“Just like that angel, spread your thighs apart for me,” Colby cooed. You could feel your face flush with embarrassment as you did as instructed, your silk night gown bunched around your waist. Your best friend’s pupil became blown with lust, his mouth watering at the sight of your exposed cunt. “Now take your fingers and spread your folds for me,” He ordered, his large hand palming his aching cock through his jeans. You had asked Colby to teach you how to touch yourself. Surely you could trust your best friend, right?

You spread your folds with your index and middle finger, avoiding Colby’s lustful gaze. “Look at me angel, look at me as you rub your clit in slow circles for me,” He said. You met his gaze, his face as flushed as yours. His words were only making you wetter, your fingers slowly circling your clit as instructed. “Good girl, just like that. Doesn’t that feel good?” Colby asked teasingly. It wasn’t apart of the deal that he touched himself, but the brunette couldn’t take it anymore. You were just so innocent, your cross necklace still dangling from your neck as you put on the world’s most sinful show for him. “So good Colbs,” You whimpered, the pleasure beginning to build in your stomach. Colby bit his bottom lip as he finally had his shaft in hand, stroking it at the sight of your wet cunt.

Corrupting your innocence was just so fucking intoxicating, the brunette honored you trusted him to ask him to teach you this. “Now slowly put them inside,” Colby ordered softly. Your eyebrows raised just in the slightest. “I-inside?” You stuttered. Not only were you a virgin, but you had never even tried to finger yourself? Colby could’ve came right there and then. “It won’t hurt angel, not with how wet you are for me,” He cooed. He ran his thumb over his slit, watching in awe as you slowly dipped your fingers into your cunt. “Now curl them,” Colby said. The sinful moan that escaped your lips was heavenly to his ears, the brunette stroking his cock faster.

“Colby?”

His blue eyes strayed from your cunt, meeting your gaze. Your doe eyes met his, your plump lips denying to be kissed. “Hmm?” He replied, his hand still pumping his shaft. You continued to move your fingers, small whimpers escaping your throat. “I-it doesn’t feel like I can reach deep enough to make myself feel like, um, really good,” You admitted shyly. Colby’s eyes widened as your cheeks flushed a deep pink. “Maybe you could help me?”
