How would Joker react if Y/n was pregnant? What would he do? Would he want a girl or a boy? Can you write something for this? :
Anon, I'm so sorry this took me over 4 months to answer! đ I didnât really know how to make this into a oneshot so Iâm going to do this in headcanon format with little drabbles in between if thatâs alright. This is kind of like a 'what if' situation. No way in canon would Joker let you keep a baby. But let's just pretend :3 I loved this request so thank you for the ask! <333
You understandably freak out when the pregnancy test comes back positive. You are pregnant with The Jokerâs child!Â
What are you gonna do? How will Joker respond? Will he leave you?
Eventually you gather the courage to sit him down one night and tell him, sobbing the whole way through because you are so scared of his response.
âJ-Joker, please donât be mad! I thought we were being cautious enough, I really did! I can get rid of it if you want-âÂ
But J surprises you with his reaction. He just shrugs off your hysterics and laughs. âBunny, bunny, calm down. Is it mine?â
You look at him incredulously and shout, âWell who else would get me pregnant?! The fucking Batman?!â
Joker laughs harder. âOkay then. Why would I be mad at ya?â
You stare at him in disbelief. âJoker, do you understand what this means? We are having a baby! A tiny human! That we are now responsible for! Donât you see how this is a problem?â
âI know, y/n. Weâll figure it out. You function just fine while Iâm gone. The apartment is secluded. Nobody suspects us. You could keep the baby here with you and when I come home I can help.â
âBut J, arenât people gonna start asking questions when they see me with a newborn? And what about the baby? Theyâll have to grow up knowing about you. What kind of life are they gonna have? I know this is a lot to ask and I probably shouldnât, but if you want us to keep the baby, why donât you just quit? Itâll make it so much easier on us.â
Joker sighs. âItâs not that simple, y/n. I canât justâŚstop. I could lay low for a while and not be as active.â
âCanât you just slowly ease out of it? Think of our kid, J.â
âI⌠I mean, I guess I could. Itâs gonna be hard but I can try. It might take a while though. At least a year for me to get the cops off my back and then fully disappear. I could resume my identity if I need toâŚâÂ
âJ, you donât have to do all that. I just need you to step away from crime for the sake of our child. Thatâs all Iâm asking. If weâre gonna have this baby, their father needs to be present.â
âI know. I wanna be. My father was shit. I donât want to repeat that.â
You smile and nuzzle into his chest. âYou wonât. Iâm sure of it.â
During your pregnancy, Joker is constantly checking up on you and catering to your needs. He has to know youâre okay at all times.
Weird cravings? Heâs on it. No questions asked.
Cramps and headaches? He makes sure you lay down and rest while he takes care of the housework and cooking like a true gentleman.Â
All while heâs slowly getting out of the criminal realm by killing laying off his henchmen and letting Frost handle things until the organization can be fully destroyed.
Frost is in utter shock at Jokerâs decision and cannot believe what heâs witnessing. But heâs also very happy for his friend. He hasnât seen J this content in a long time. The idea of being a father must be doing wonders for him. Frost is also the godfather of the baby which gives him a warm fuzzy feeling he doesnât quite understand.
Further into the pregnancy, you and J remodel your spare bedroom into a nursery. You paint it a neutral green since it's one of J's favorite colors and move a crib and a rocking chair inside. You also stock up on diapers and other supplies to prepare for the baby's arrival.
Finally the time comes for you to go into labor.Â
You gasp and sit upright in bed as you feel your water break in the middle of the night. You grab J by his shoulders and shake him until he opens his eyes.
âJ! My water just broke!âÂ
âHuh? Go back to sleep, dollâŚâ Joker mumbles groggily and rolls back over.
You let out an exasperated noise. âJ, you idiot! Get up! The babyâs coming!â
It finally registers with Joker and he jumps up out of bed. âOH! The baby. Right. Uhhh, wait here. Iâll call the doc.â
You couldnât exactly go to the hospital in these circumstances. You wanted Joker to be right there with you when the baby was born and so did he. That wouldnât be an option at the hospital. So Joker calls his personal doctor that he has on speed dial. His job came with many injuries and a doctor was an extremely handy person to have on staff.
While waiting on the doctor to get to the apartment, Joker lays towels down on the bed underneath you and tries to make you as comfortable as possible.Â
You cry out as a sharp pain spreads across your back. âAH! J, Iâm scared! I canât do this!â
âItâs gonna be okay, y/n. You got this. Iâm here.â Joker reassures you, squeezing your hand tightly.
Thereâs a sudden knock at the door and Joker receives a text on his phone. He gets up to go let the doctor in. As the door opens, she pushes past Joker and runs to the bedroom to attend to you.Â
Joker pulls up a chair and sits by quietly as the doctor does her work, occasionally rubbing your back and comforting you when needed.
Unlike most men he isnât grossed out or horrified by the gory sight of giving birth. Heâd seen far worse before.
He watches in awe as you persevere through the pain and focus on delivering your baby. He couldnât be proud of you.
After 8 hours of strenuous labor, itâs almost over. The doctor is encouraging you to make one final push as you grip Jokerâs hand so tightly that your knuckles turn white.
âCome on, y/n. Thatâs it. One more push.â Joker cheers you on.
With a groan of pain, you push again. A sense of relief washes over you and then a small cry breaks out. You look up and see the doctor wrapping your newborn up in a towel and cradling it in her arms.Â
âCongratulations boss, you have a healthy baby girl.â The doctor informs Joker and carefully hands the baby over to you. She leaves the room for a moment to give you and J some privacy.
You gasp as you hold the infant to your chest, the pain and exhaustion melting away. âItâs a girl? Aww, hi sweetie.â
Joker sniffles and tears up beside you. He's always wanted a baby girl. You notice him and chuckle.Â
âI can see you over there, tough guy.â
Joker lets a choked sob escape his lips. âSh-Sheâs so beautiful⌠Can I hold her?â
Youâre taken aback by his sudden show of emotion but you nod and hand the baby to Joker with a smile. He cradles his daughter with a gentleness youâve never seen from him before. Almost as if heâs afraid to touch her. He kisses her forehead softly.Â
âHi there sweet girl. Iâm your Dad. Itâs good to finally meet you.âÂ
The baby wraps her tiny fingers around Jokerâs and stares up at him curiously. You laugh at the adorable display but then you realize you havenât even named her yet.
âJ, what are we gonna name her? I havenât thought of anything.â
âUh, what letter you thinking of?â Joker asks, not taking his eyes off the bundle of joy in his arms.
âJ.â You answer with a soft smile.
Joker catches on and shakes his head. âYou ainât gotta do that, doll. Name her what ya want. I donât care.â
âNo really, I want it to be a J name.â
Joker relents with a sigh and contemplates on a girl name that starts with J. âUhhhh, Julia?â
âNah.â
âJosephine?â
âEh, too fancy.â
âJade?âÂ
âMaybeâŚâ
âJocelyn?â
âNo.â
âJuniper?â
âOoh, I like that one. Letâs go with that. Is that good with you?â
âYeah. Itâs different. I like it.â
The doctor comes in again to make sure that you are recovering well. After you get changed and cleaned up, Joker and the doctor leave the bedroom to let you rest while they take care of Juniper.
Joker adores being a father. He could now fully enjoy it after he officially retires from crime by the time Juniper is a few months old. The police are absolutely baffled. Where did he go? It was like he and his entire organization just disappeared off the face of the earth. Little do they know Joker is right under their noses in an apartment downtown.
Joker keeps an extremely low profile whenever the two of you make an outing, especially with the baby. As a disguise he wears sunglasses and special makeup over his scars. On short trips he just uses a scarf to hide them.
Joker slowly learns how to parent with your guidance and patience. You were new at this too but motherly instincts that you didnât know you had were kicking in and you surprised yourself with how good you were at being a mom.
Joker is the peek-a-boo king. One of his greatest strengths as a dad is of course making his daughter laugh. He has more time now than ever to play and spend time with her. As hard as it was to let go, he canât help but think that giving up his life of crime was the best decision heâd ever made.
Juniper has your eyes and Jokerâs hair. When her hair started to grow, the curl pattern became evident. Though you knew the curls would be beautiful just her like fatherâs, they were going to be a pain to take care of.
Each night you and J take turns tending to Juniper when she cries or gets fussy.Â
You and Joker are nestled together in bed, exhausted from a dayâs work of parenting. The bedroom door is cracked so you can hear if Juniper cries. Sure enough a whine breaks out in the middle of the night, waking you both up.Â
âYour turnâŚâ You mumble to Joker, whoâs resting his head on your chest.Â
âYes dear.â Joker says sleepily and kisses your cheek.
He sits up with a yawn and moves into the nursery. He picks Juniper up out of her crib and holds her to his chest, patting her back gently.
"Shhh. Go back ta sleep, darlin'. Daddy's got you."
She coos and slowly starts to quiet down, falling asleep in Joker's arms. He puts her back in the crib and smiles. He would always keep her safe and protected no matter what.

Y/N stood shaking in her bathroom, dropping the white and blue stick onto the counter. Positive, it read.
For a week or two, she had constantly gotten morning sickness, but she didnât think much of it. That is until her period was late, as in two weeks late. Everything was aligning. She felt more tired than usual, had to use the restroom more often, and her unstable emotions.
Only a couple days before she noticed herself feeling sick, she slept with Brad. Y/N met him at a frat party and hooked up with him. It wasnât her first time at a party, but it was definitely her first time having a one night stand. She was sure that they used protection. Bloody hell, she was even on birth control.
Tears rolled down her rosy cheeks, her bottom lip trembling. She was a single mother at the age of 20. She wanted to do so much more in her life. Y/N placed a hand on her stomach, feeling a wave of comfort wash over her. She was obviously going to keep her baby, single mother or not.
The only struggle left was telling her family.
She washed her face, making sure she looked decent before telling them the news. She slid the pregnancy test into the pocket of her hoodie, bringing it with her to reveal the truth. Her hands were trembling, and she took short breaths.
She decided to tell her beloved brothers first. She dragged them all into one her room, shutting the door behind her.
âY/N/N, whatâs going on?â Sam engaged.
âIs everything alright, darling?â Tom observed your trembling.
âYouâre not dying, are you?â Harry burst.
âNo, Iâm not dying, Harry,â Y/N rolled her eyes, âI have something really important to tell you guys, and I wanted to tell the three of you divs first.â
âHow about mom and dad? And Paddy?â Harry asked.
âIâll tell them after, but Iâm not sure if I want Paddy to be involved. Heâs still young,â she sighed, âAnyways, please donât freak out when I tell you guys and make sure not to make a big deal out of it.â Y/N was about to tell them when she hesitated, âAlso, if you guys hate me after this, Iâm sorry, I hope youâll still see me as your sister.â
The three boys looked nervous and concerned, nodding for you to go on.
âI-Iâm pregnant,â Y/N swallowed, pulling out the test in her pocket.
Pure silence spread throughout the room. The boysâ jaws dropped, but no word, not even a sound, peeped from them.
Tears started to fill Y/Nâs eyes, thinking that they hated her, âIâm sorry, I shouldâve been more careful. I shouldnât have even slept with that guy. Please donât hate me.â
âWe donât hate you, Y/N/N,â Tom finally said.
âYeah, we love you and at least you used protection, right?â Sam looked at her sternly.
âYes, yes, of course,â she giggled, relieved that she didnât let down her brothers.
âI call being the godfather!â Harry shouted, raising his arm.
The three of you shushed Harry, hoping that your parents hadnât heard.
âNow, Iâve got to go tell mom and dad. Wish me luck,â Y/N said, walking to the door.
âY/N! Just know, weâre here for you. Weâll help you with every step of this journey, alright?â Tom warmly smiled.
She smiled back, nodding and whispering âthank youâ before exiting the room, leaving the boys to themselves.
The reaction her parents gave her left her relieved. She was glad that her parents didnât judge her for the accidental pregnancy. They told her that they would be there for her through the entire thing. Dom wanted her to make sure it was positive by taking multiple other tests, and Nikki just wanted her beautiful daughter to be happy.
She did as she was told and took multiple other tests. When she came to see the multiple negative tests, she felt at ease, yet disappointed. Although the child she was convinced she had wasnât actually there, she felt upset that there wasnât someone else with her to comfort her. Of course, she had her family, but having her own child felt like a different comfort. A feeling that couldnât be described.
Turns out, the âsymptomsâ she experienced werenât really symptoms. She wasnât late for her period, it came later on in the day. The morning sickness and fatigue were from her consistent partying. Finally, her unstable emotions, as well as her urge to use the bathroom more often, were just a sign that her period was coming.
That night, she asked for her whole family to gather in the living room. They already knew what it was about, but the possibility of her pregnancy being positive or negative was still edging them on. Paddy was confused, not understanding anything about the situation, as he was under-informed. They were bickering between each other, excited to hear the news.
âAfter many, many pregnancy tests, 30 to be exact, I am...â she stalled, increasing the suspense.
âWhat? You are what?â Harry quipped.
âIâm not pregnant! I can still do everything Iâve dreamed of and find a husband who will help me raise my child, if I ever get one that is,â Y/N was glowing, âAlthough, this is quite disappointing. I donât know why, though,â she frowned.
âOh, darling, itâs a sign of motherhood. You already loved that baby in your stomach, but now that you know itâs not true, youâre disappointed. No worries, though. Iâm sure youâll find someone soon,â Nikki gently rubbed Y/Nâs arm.
âNow, now-â Dom started, only to be stopped by Nikki.
âShe an adult now, let her live her life, will you?â Nikki rolled her eyes.
âItâs okay, dad, I wonât be looking for that for a while. Iâm going to fulfill everything on my bucket list first,â Y/N comforted her father.
âAnyone want to watch Onward?â Tom asked, breaking away from the subject.
Everyone nodded in agreement, some choosing their own seat and some going to the pantry to grab snacks for the family. As everything settled down, a calming silence washed over them and the movie began to play.
Out of nowhere, Harry asked, âWill I still get to be the godfather of your child, though?â
âOf course, Harold, of course,â she laughed.
The entire family was laughing and she took a mental picture of the moment, never wanting to forget her loving and accepting family.

" I thought you would be asleep..." Anthony murmured, words soft as melody spelled in the dark, hands crossed around his chest, his cuffs rolled up like usual after every tired night in his office, he smiled at you, a glint in his eyes.
" Why would I ? " I would wait for you at the worlds end, You turned to look at your husband, after a hard day, his eyes looked so tired and yet, they were sparkling, always when it was you.
" Oh my dearest wife." He moaned as he crossed the distance in two long strides, wrapping his hands around your waist all the while dropping to his knees,
"I missed you so much baby." He said, kissing your baby bump gently as he looked up with stars in his eyes.
" You didn't miss me Anthony ?! " You fake gasped, watching the slow chuckle make its way through the rings of his cartilage as he plucked the book you were holding.
" Oh you have no idea ! " He growled, taking both your hands in his and guiding them to his face, his eyes shutting as your fingers traced the face you adored so much, he hummed in response, kissing the soft skin of your wrist as watched you, one knuckle at a time, eyes never leaving yours.
" you think I haven't missed you ? " His asked, almost blazing, " you? " He said again, " There wasn't a moment when my soul didn't want to crawl and come to you, not a moment when i wanted to be anywhere but in your arms love." He squeezed your hand gently as you smiled, because you knew, knew how much he loved you.
" Have i told you how much I love your hands ? " He traced the lightening like green nerves that made it ways across your skin, he loved every bit of you, body, soul, mind and heart.
" You haven't," you replied, feeling your breath knocked out, heart punching against your ribs.
Anthony's lip quirked at your dazed eyes, he loved every and each version of you but he so much adored when you made your needs known, how much Anthony loved giving you what you wanted, you just have to say it for me, my sweet love, he had told you.
" This," Anthony said, his lips grazing at the slight raise of vein of your wrist, following it upto the crook of your arm, smiling in triumph as a strangled noise made it's way out of your throat.
" You like it ? " He tilted his head, brows raised in question, " mmm" you hummed softly but being the Viscount and smug bastard lord bridgerton was, he smirked.
" Say it in words my lady." He gazed up, you gave him one eye roll but opened your mouth anyway, " I do." You said ans Anthony resumed his venturing.
" And I have told you how much I love your collarbones ? " He hummed, planting open mouthed kisses all way to to dip of your neck, his breath lingered like a tattooed kiss, you dropped your head back on the couch as Anthony nipped at the raw skin of your neck.
You felt his smile the way his teeth tore into your flesh, his hand soothing your belly in circular patterns, the other cupping your breast and kneading it with all the time in the world, " You aren't telling me." He complaint, mouth fixed several inches away from yours as he looked deeply into yours eyes, your breath were uneven as you whined at the lack of lips on you, he understood and caressed your cheeks, leaning until a thread of wind was between you, you waited for touch to burn you, waited for his lips to crash into yours but alas!
" An..thony " you whimpered and he shaked his head, mouthing a small, No.
" You haven't " you whispered, closing the inches as his mouth pressed against yours in warm fuzzy music, like everything the poets talked about, Anthony smiled as pulled for a second away, his eyes peicring yours, mischief dangling through the corners and oh, how much you loved this man.
" I think I have..." He trailed, nose nuzzling at the dark reds and blues of your neck, he loved his little vicious games, loved to tease you, loved to drive you crazy.
" You have." You told him, " Tell me again."
That was all Anthony needed to you tell you again, and again and again, how much he loved you.

Hello! I had a dream a while back where the war just ended and I was standing on a hill with Hogwart's in background, with Severus Snape, he was smiling. I told him that I was pregnant. He got really happy and then he huged me. Then I woke up. But I think it was very cute đ
Omg thatâs the cutest thing EVER!
just imagining him all bandaged up and out for the first time after the war to have some fresh air with you and heâs just so peaceful and calm.

He hugs you immediately and kisses your forehead so lovingly.

Today into tonight, you were investigating the Nancy Hall Mansion.
You were kind of excited about this because last night, before going to sleep, Sam talked you into doing your very first Estes session.
You can't lie, you were nervous, maybe a bit more than you honestly thought because as soon as you sat up, your stomach flipped and you headed towards the bathroom.
Sam rolls over, reaching for you, but lifts his head when he can't feel you under his arm, "Y/n?" He calls out, but you're too busy dry heaving over the toilet you can't answer him.
He gets up, making his way to the bathroom as he rubs his eyes, but quickly snaps awake when he sees you getting sick, "Shit, hey." He comes over, holding your hair back, "You're okay."
He rubs his hand soothingly up and down your back, "Little bit nervous, are we?" He laughs a slightly and you stand up, "I think so."
You clean up and walk back out to the bedroom where you lay on the bed, "We're you nervous your first time doing this?"
He sits next to you, rubbing your leg, "I mean, I don't think I puked, but yeah, I was nervous."
You lay a hand on your forehead, trying to see if you're warm or not, but you feel fine, honestly.
"Do you still want to go tonight?" Sam asks and you look at him, "Um, yeah." You smile and sit up, "I think it was just first morning jitters, I totally forgot about it until I woke up more."
"I'll be with you the whole time." Sam smiles and leans down to kiss you, and it was like you needed it without even knowing.
His kiss lit a fire inside of you and you pulled him towards you, indicating that you needed him. He smirks against your lips, "Mm.. I see what you're doing here."
"What am I doing Mr. Golbach?" You bite your lip, smiling up at him. He slips a hand between your legs and slips his fingers into the band of your sweatpants, "You know exactly what you're doing."
He leans down to kiss your neck as his hand works further into your pants, "And it's working." You close your eyes, letting out a quiet moan as his fingers circle your clit, "We have to be quick, babe. Because co-"
Colby knocks before opening the door, "Yo, yo, yo! Who's ready to talk to an old lady ghost today?"
Sam quickly pulls his hand from your sweats and moves off of you, "And he'll be there, too." Sam Sighs and laughs as he nods towards Colby.
"Awe. Is someone having scared feelings?" Colby asks in a baby voice tone as he walks over and plops down next to Sam.
You roll your eyes, "No way in hell, Brock. You actually just interu-."
"Lalala, I don't need to hear that." Colby shakes his head and you and Sam laugh.
You sit up and close your eyes as you feel dizzy, but you quickly shake it off, chalk it up to being you needing breakfast.
"I'm hungry. I'll go start cooking if you guys wanna pack the stuff up." You stand up and Sam grabs your hand, gently pressing his lips to your knuckles, "Sure thing, babe."
"Sure thing, babe." Colby repeats, mocking Sam, "Ugh, you guys are so cute, it makes me sick."
"Anytime, Colby." You give him a cheesy smile before walking downstairs. You did feel odd today. Something was off, you just couldn't put your finger on it.
"Whatcha making, gorgeous?" Sam asks walking down the stairs and you give him a small smile, "The breakfast usual."
He sits down at the island and leans forward, "are you okay, y/n?"
You turn around from the stove and nod, "Yeah. I'm good. Why?"
He shrugs, "you just seem like you're coming down with something and if-" you lean over the counter, laying your hands on his, "I feel fine, Sam. I think I just need to eat some toast or something."
He squeezes your hands and nods, "Alright. If you say so."
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
The car ride was different, too. Usually you sit in the middle in the back, adding commentary here and there, but today you had to sit by the window or you felt car sick.
"Are you sure you feel up for this, babe?" Sam glances back at you, "You look kinda pale."
"Yeah, and you're not giving me shit, what's up with that?" Colby turns around and looks back at you from the passenger seat, "Are you feeling okay?"
You laugh slightly, "I might take a nap, I honestly just feel tired right now."
You roll your eyes, mocking Colby as he makes a smart comment about Sam keeping you up all night, "that is in fact not the case." You hold up your finger and laugh, "Now let me nap in peace."
You fold up Sam's hoodie that was thrown next to you and use it as a pillow rested up against the door.
You close your eyes, trying to nap but all you can hear is Sam and Colby talking quietly.
"Is she okay?" Colby whispers.
"I think so." Sam says, but he could tell there was something off about you too. He just didn't know what.
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
"What's up guys? It's Sam and Colby." Colby says they do their introductory clip, "Today we are here at the Nancy Hall Mansion."
You suddenly get a wave of nausea, repeating 'don't puke' over and over in your head as you close your eyes.
Sam notices instantly and is right by your side, "Are you okay?"
You look up at him, "Yeah, I just got kinda dizzy."
"Like from the house or?" Colby asks walking up and you nod, "Yeah, I felt a very strong presence since we've been out of the car."
"Nancy Hall is said to be a good, loving spirit, but there is one, her husband who was said to be more on the darker side of things." Sam looks between you and Colby as he rubs your back.
"Okay. I think I'm good now, but I am going to just sit here.." you point to a big rock and sit down, taking a deep breath.
"I'll be right over here, if you need me just yell." Sam kisses your head and goes back over to the camera where they continue filming until the owner arrives.
You watch as the car slowly comes to a stop and a younger looking man gets out, "Hello." He holds up his hand as he walks over to you guys, "I'm Stephan, my parents own the place."
You stand up, walking over to meet Sam and Colby as they walk up to introduce themselves.
"Y/n." You say with a smile and reach out to shake his hand.
"Are you guys ready for the tour?" He motions towards the mansion and you all nod, following him up to the door, "So you'll get activity in any room basically."
"Really?" Colby asks, "By anyone in particular?"
Stephan pushes the door open and shrugs, "I mean, I personally don't spend much time here because I'm honestly scared of places like this, but I was told to tell you that they may or may not get attached to you."
You and Colby both look at Sam and he presses his lips together and sighs through his nose, "That's.. great.. exactly what I came here for."
Stephan looks confused and Colby laughs pointing to Sam, "This dude has a new ghost up his ass each week."
"That I do." Sam sighs and looks down and Stephan laughs, "You would be the one. Alright so." He spins in a circle, "This is my, um, we'll just say there's many greats before grandmother, but this was her house."
"And she's a very kind and loving spirit right?" You ask looking over at Stephan. He nods, "Yeah, my grandma, yes. Grandpa, not so much."
"Could you tell us why that is? I tried doing research but there's absolutely nothing about her husband." Colby looks at Stephan and Stephan pauses for a moment.
"My, again, many greats, grandfather was the type of person to get what ever he wanted no matter what it took." Stephan walks over to a room and opens the door, "He killed many men in this room and never admitted to it until on his deathbed."
"Did your grandma know?" You cross your arms and he shakes his head, "Everyone thinks she died not knowing, but I think she really knew and just didn't want to be his next victim. So she turned a blind eye to it all."
You nod as your eyes scan over the wall and you stop on a picture of a pregnant lady, "Was that your grandmother?" You point and Stephan walks over, "No that would be her daughter, same name and all."
"They like to carry on the family name. I don't blame them." You walk as the guys keep talking, asking questions and such, and you stop at a mirror.
You squint, leaning to the side slowly so you can get a better glimpse of the woman, in a long flowy dress, standing at the end of the hall behind you.
"I think she's here." You turn slightly and stare at her as she watches you, "Nancy?"
The figure nods once and turns, disappearing behind the one open door.
"What was she doing?" Colby asks pointing the camera on you. You smile, "She was just watching us."
"She does that. She was always watching out for everyone." Stephan motions towards the staircase, "Well head upstairs now if you want."
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
Throughout the tour, you kept feeling dizzy or sick. Each time you felt that way, that's when Nancy would appear, almost like she's warding off the evil spirit that was once her husband.
"You okay?" Sam asks rubbing your arm.
You nod, "Yeah. I think she's trying to ward off her husband or something because every time I feel the tiniest bit dizzy, I see her appear and then I'm fine."
He lays his arm over your shoulder, "You got yourself two protectors tonight." He smirks and winks at you before walking back over to Colby and Stephan.
"So that is everything and I hate to cut it short but like I said, I hate being here." Stephan chuckles slightly as he looks around, "I have mad respect for you guys."
"Thank you." Sam and Colby say with smiles.
"Alright, I'll leave you to it. If you need anything just give me a shout." Stephan waves as he walks to the door, pulling it shut behind him.
"Okay, so what should we do first?" You look between them and Sam sighs, "I think we should the old flashlight trick with the REM pod."
Colby nods, "Should we start down here? Work our way up?"
Sam nods and looks at you, "You alright with that?"
"Yeah, I'm fine with whatever." You smile, "we can wait to do the Estes method until later on tonight if you want."
A smirk grows on Sam's lips and he nods, "Alright."
As Colby goes out to grab some equipment, Sam grabs your arm and pull you away from the door, pinning you against the one wall, "There's just.. something about you lately.."
His lips brush over yours as his hand slides down to put pressure between your legs and you bite your lip, whispering, "Sam.. we can't.."
He bites his lips, eyes still on yours, "We can, if you really want to."
A smirk toys with your lips and just as you're about to answer, Colby walks in, stopping when he sees Sam back away from you.
You look over at him and he laughs, "Please.. for the love of god, tell me you weren't just about to do it when I was right out there."
"We weren't just about to do it when you were right out there." Sam shrugs and laughs, which causes Colby to laugh, then you.
"Okay. Okay. You can do that later. I want to find out if Nancy knew her husband was a killer or not." Colby swings his backpack over his shoulder and you follow him down the hallway.
"This is the living room area where it is said that a lot of Nancy's husband's victims were poisoned. He would bring them here, get them drunk then slip something into their drinks that would eventually kill them." Colby explains as Sam pans the camera to him.
"Do we know her husband's name?" You ask as you walk up, "I don't think Stephan told us."
Sam shakes his head, "I don't think he did either. But I think it's something like Greggory, Greg maybe?"
A knocking sound comes from behind you and you turn around quickly, "Shit."
"Was that a knock?" Sam points the camera and holds it there for a few moments, "Okay." He turns back to Colby and as he holds up the EMF, "We can figure it out with this contraption, right here. This will allow who ever is here to answer with yes or no."
"And we will also be using the Alice box to kind of give us a better understanding as to who we are talking to." Sam adds while he shows the camera the box in his hand, "I'll give that to y/n."
You take the box, switching it on the same time Colby turns on the EMF.
"Is Nancy's husband in the room with us right now?" Colby asks and it switches to red, "Is this Nancy?"
Switches to green.
"Are you looking out for us?" Sam asks and it lights up green again.
The Alice box goes off, "Safe."
You look up at them and smile slightly, "I love Nancy." They smile and the box in your hand goes off again, "Greggory."
"Is that your husband's name?" You ask and watch was the EMF lights up green, "You were right, Sam."
He smirks and nods, "Just that good." He pretends to pop his collar and you smile as you laugh.
"Nancy, did you know that your husband killed those people?" Colby chews on his nail with anticipation.
The EMF lights up green and you frown, "We're you scared he would kill you next?"
The Alice box goes off, "He did."
"Whoa. Whoa. Wait. Wait wait." Colby shakes his hands, "They never said that... it was always said that she died of old age."
"Well that's obviously a lie." Sam says and the Alice box lights up green, "Nancy, did Greggory killed you?"
The box in your hand goes off, "Poison."
"So he killed her just like everyone else." Sam shakes his head and hands Colby the camera, "Nancy, did he kill you because he knew that you knew about what he was doing?"
The box goes red, then switches to green, then back to red, then green before the lights go out.
"I think Greggory doesn't want her to answer that." You look up and jump when you feel something touch your side, "Something just .. touched me." You move over to Sam, his arm instantly going around you, "You're okay."
"What did it feel like?" Colby asks as he continues to look around, "Like a hard touch or soft bush?" You run to Sam and demonstrate, "It was like a hand just lightly laid on my side, like right.." you lay you hand on Sam's side, "Here."
You lift your shirt, "I don't have any marks or anything. Nothing hurts."
"Nancy did you touch, y/n?" Sam asks and the EMF goes off green, along with the Alice box, "Protect."
"Protect? Are you protecting y/n from Greggory?" Sam asks and the box immediately goes back to green, and the box goes off again, "Gravid."
"What does that mean?" Colby asks and Sam shrugs, "I don't.. I don't know."
"Can Greggory answer a question for us?" Colby sighs, "Greggory, if you're here, can you tell us why you killed those people?"
The EMF switches to green.
"Did you do it for their money?" Colby asks and the Alice box repeats, "Money."
"So he did it for the money?" Sam asks and the EMF goes to green, "I'd say so." He laughs slightly and looks down at you, "You doing okay?"
"I feel like I need to sit down." You whisper and look over your shoulder, "I just got dizzy again."
"Why don't we take a break. Step outside for a little bit." Colby says and you both agree. Just as you're about to switch the Alice box off, another word comes through, "Sam."
"What the fuck?" Colby comes over, showing the camera what it just said, "What the hell."
Sam switches the box off and turns, "Let's go outside."
You make your way through the hallway, heading towards the door when you hear heavy footsteps behind you.
You all whip around, looking at each other when there was nothing there. You look at Colby, "Was that you?"
He shakes his head, "Swear to god that wasn't me."
"Let's give Greggory time to settle, then we can go to another room." Sam rubs your back as you walk to the door, he goes to open it but it won't budge, "Um. What the fuck is happening."
"You have to push.." you try it? Pushing down the little part above the handle, "Okay.. that wasn't like this before."
"Here let me try." Colby hands the camera to you, and you record them trying to get out. All while they're doing that, you feel the presence of something move behind you.
You shallow, keeping the camera on them, trying to brush it off, and it was working until you feel like someone breathed on your cheek.
"Fuck." You wipe your cheek and lean to the side, moving over to Sam, "I swear something like breathed on my cheek, like I feel a puff of warm air or something."
Sam rubs his thumb over the cheek you said, "Okay. We need to open this- Nancy." He pauses, "Can you please help us with the door?"
After a few more tries, Colby finally gets the door open and Sam chuckles, "Thank you, Nancy."
"Thank you, Nancy." You and Colby repeat in unison as you walk out the door. You walk over to the rock you sat on before and sit down, elbows on your knees as you feel like you're out of breath.
"you good?" Colby asks as he walks up. Sam sits next to you, "Do you need anything?"
You shake your head, "no I think I'm okay."
"We'll just sit here. If you're sick or anything, you're more vulnerable to Greggory and whoever else may be in there." Sam lays his arm over you and pulls you to him, "Nancy and Greggory sure seem to have it out for each other, still." He chuckles and Colby nods, "Oh yeah, did you see the way they were arguing over the EMF, crazy dude."
"That was nuts." Sam shakes his head, "I've never seen two spirits argue like that."
"Nancy is that bitch." You laugh, "she probably would have ended him if it wasn't for him doing it first."
"When we go back inside, I think we should try and talk to someone Greggory killed. See what they have to say." Colby suggests and Sam nods, "That's good idea."
You sigh, "Well, I'm ready so let's go back in."
You stand up and Sam takes your hand as he stands next to you, "No need to rush, we have all night, babe."
Something in you needed Sam right now, but with Colby standing right there, you didn't want to say anything, "Yeah.. yeah I know."
Sam's brow twitches, picking up the vibes you're giving him, "I see."
You lick your lips and smile, "So. Are we ready to-"
"In a minute." Sam says glancing over at Colby, "Colby walk away."
"But I-" Colby huffs and tries to fight it, "Where am I gunna go? I'm not going in there alone."
"You'll find somewhere." Sam grabs your hand and pulls you over to the car. Sam watches as Colby walks away, grumbling to himself, "We're here to do an investigation.."
You laugh and bite your lip as you look up at Sam. He looks down at you, "We can't do anything, but I promise, as soon as we get home.." he leans in, sliding his hands around to grip your ass, "You're mine."
"Why'd you tell Colby to walk away then?" You ask with a laugh. Sam shrugs, "To get on his nerves."
He looks up over the car, seeing Colby sit on the steps of the mansion, "Let's just give it another minute or two."
"You guys are awful." You shake your head and smile. Sam shrugs, "He knows I'll do anything for him. I just have to give him a hard time every once in a while. Keep things evened out."
You roll your eyes, laughing quietly as you turn to walk over to Colby, Sam following behind you.
"Are you done?" Colby stands up and Sam sighs, "For now."
Colby tries not to laugh, "You guys are ridiculous."
"But you looove us." You poke his arm and he nods, "Yeah, sadly I do." He laughs and motions to the door, "Ate we ready?"
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
2:30 a m
You were exhausted at this point. You felt like you just ran a marathon, or two, but you didn't want to quit.
You still had your Estes session to do.
"Alright guys." Sam says as he gets the camera rolling, "as you saw, we've had non stop activity since we came back in, like what.." he looks around at you and Colby.
"It's been at least a few hours now." Colby says nodding, "We've actually had to take quite a few breaks throughout the course of being here and it's not so much Nancy herself.. I don't even know how to explain it really."
"The fighting between her and Greggory." You say and Sam turns the camera to you, "The two have so much power over this house and it's just... a lot."
Right as you say that, it sounds like walking downstairs, "Listen." You hold your hand out and point to the door.
"Is someone coming up the stairs?" Sam whispers and looks at Colby. He shrugs, "It sounds like it."
"We just-" Sam gets cut off by the sound of something walking in the hall, "Fuck, dude."
It stops and you all let out the breath you were holding, "Let's just go into Nancy's room." You point and walk out of the one room and into her bedroom."
"We are now in the room that Nancy not only resided in, but also died in." Sam says panning the camera slowly around.
"I feel oddly safe in this room." Colby says with a laugh, "Like out of all the rooms and stuff, like walking up those steps, I was looking behind me and shit."
"No I know what you mean. As soon as we walked through the door, I felt ten times better." You look around, "Her husband must not be allowed in here."
"What makes you say that?" Sam looks over at you and you point, "I have a feeling, but there's absolutely no pictures of him in here. Like look.." you walk over, shining the flashlight on the pictures as they follow you, "There's pictures of her, but you can tell that someone was cut out of them and on this one, the man's face is scribbled out."
"What the hell." Sam whispers as he picks up a frame to show the camera. Colby walks around and snaps, "Hey guys, all of the people in this picture are scribbled out but her."
"That's so weird." Sam says as he moves the camera up, "Maybe there was mo-"
A loud thud coming from the hallway makes all of you turn to the door, footsteps following quickly.
You're all silent as you listen for anything else.
"That was definitely footsteps." Sam looks between you and Colby. You and Colby agree, "Uh huh."
"Okay, so we have our REM pod that y/n is placing on the ground between the door and the foot of the bed, with this, they'll be able to touch it, let us know they're here. So with that.." Sam looks over at Colby and he sighs, "Hello, I'm Colby. That's Sam and that's y/n. We are here to just ask some questions, specifically for Nancy, we mean no disrespect to you or anyone that wants to speak with us. You are more than welcome. Just come up and touch that little box on the ground, make the light go off."
A few seconds later, the red light flashes.
"Nancy Hall, if that's you can you make the light go off again." Sam glances over at you, seeing that your eyes are glued to the door way, "Y/n? You see something?"
As soon as Sam moves over the dark figure you see vanishes.
"There was something standing over there, diagonal from me. Just watching, but it was dark." You slowly look over at Sam and the light goes off.
You jump slightly, "Shit."
"Nancy? Was that you?" Colby asks looking between the pod and you and Sam, "Touch it again if it was, just so we know."
The red light flashes again and you kinda feel relieved, "Nancy, hi. My name is y/n. Would you like to speak with us?"
The red light flashes and you look at Sam, "I'm taking that as a yes." He smirks and nods, "So am I."
Colby pulls the headphones and spirit box from the backpack, along with the red blindfold, "Think it's too early?"
Sam shakes his head, looking over at you, "Your call."
"Let's do it." You reach out and take the blindfold from Colby, moving to sit on the center of Nancy's bed. You take a deep breath and look over at Sam who's setting the camera up to face you guys.
"Well bring you put if it gets too bad." Colby says switching on the box, loud static playing, "Whenever you're ready."
You look at Sam and he's smiles, turning to the camera, "I just want to say that this is her first time doing an Estes session." He turns back around and watches as you shake your head, tying the blindfold over your eyes.
You hold your hands out and Colby places the headphones in your hands, and you move them to lay on your ears.
You can't hear shit outside of the static, and you instantly start hearing words.
"Talking to you."
"Are we talking to Nancy?" Sam asks as his eyes stay on you.
"Yes, Nancy." You pause, "You're safe."
"Are we safe from your husband, Nancy?" Colby asks and you instantly reply to them.
"He can't hurt you."
"Did you know about-" Sam raises his eyebrows as you cut him off,
"Baby."
"Baby?" Colby questions, "Did you have a baby?"
"You're safe with me."
"We feel safe with you, Nancy." Sam assures, "was there a baby here?"
"Yes, right now."
"Right now?" Colby shakes his head, "I don't understand." Sam shrugs, "Maybe someone bad a baby here?"
"I promise."
"You promise what, Nancy?" Sam asks, his eyes staying focused on your still body, "Can you tell us?"
"You don't know.."
"What don't we know, Nancy? Do you think you can tell us?" Colby lays a hand on his lips, waiting for your response.
"Sam.. not Colby."
"Okay? What don't I know?" Sam chews on his lip, "Can you tell me?"
"Baby. You have.."
Colby looks at Sam, his eyes wide, "You don't think.. Sam.. is she-"
You cut Colby off, "Surprised. are we happy?"
Sam stands there in shock, "What the.. what the actual fuck." Colby looks from Sam and back to you, closing his eyes, "Nancy, are you trying to tell us that.." he pauses and takes a deep breath, "..y/n is pregnant with Sam's baby?"
"Yes.. I am. Exactly."
You feel tapping on your arms from both Sam and Colby and you push the headphones off, lifting the blindfold off your eyes.
You look between them and they both looked like they just seen something horrifying.
"What?" You look between them, getting anxious the longer they just stare at you, "What happened?"
Sam brushes hair from your face, "Um.. well.." he laughs nervously, "From what we gathered.." he runs a hand through his own hair and sighs, "Apparently you're pregnant."
Your mouth drops open, "What did you just say?"
Colby jumps in, explaining the questions they asked and what your answers were, "I started piecing it together, and finally I asked if Nancy was trying to tell us that you were pregnant and that's when you said, yes I am. Exactly."
You can feel your heart racing as you try to comprehend what Colby just explained, "I-I don't.. I don't.." you shake your head, eyes closed as you take a slow deep breath, "So I'm pregnant?"
"That's what Nancy thinks, apparently." Sam sits down next to you, "You know, you getting sick this morning.. I didn't even think about that."
You laugh, still in shock, "Oh god. I didn't.. what do we do?"
Colby sighs, "If you are.. we need to get you out of here because what I gathered is that Greggory doesn't like it."
Sam looks up at him and nods, "Yeah, yeah, you're right." He nods towards the camera, "You wanna grab that?"
Colby nods, "Yeah." He walks over grabbing the camera as you and Sam grab everything else, "Come on." Sam wraps an arm around your waist, leading you out of the room and down the steps.
As you're walking, something grabs your arm and pulls you back slightly, "You cannot touch me, we're leaving."
"You're fine." Sam whispers pulling you closer to him, "Almost there." You grab his sweatshirt and hang into it, thinking about all the times you felt sick or dizzy.
Being pregnant would make sense, you just didn't want to believe it, not until you peed on the stick.
Sam walks you to the car, putting the stuff in the trunk before turning to you, "you okay?" He looks over your face, "Did you know?"
You shake your head, "Honest to god Sam, no. That didn't even pop into my head, I just thought I was anxious about this."
He nods and pulls you in for a hug, "Well have to stop, get some tests. We need to know for sure."
"I'm going to shit my pants if you are." Colby says walking up, "That shit was fucking crazy." He puts his stuff into the trunk and shuts it.
"Let's go, we need to.." Sam sighs, obviously flustered over this whole situation. You take the keys from his pocket, handing them to Colby, "Come on." You walk him to the side of the car and he motions for you to get in.
You get in as Colby gets into the drivers seat and he looks back at you, "Do you feel any different now or?"
You sigh, "I don't even know what I'm feeling at the moment." He nods, "Fair enough." Sam opens the passenger door and gets it.
Colby and you both look at him as he stares at the dash silent.
"You good, brother?" Colby asks laying a hand on his shoulder and Sam nods, "I just don't.." he groans, "We just need to know for sure because i just don't-"
"We will. Okay, Sam?" You reach up, rubbing the back of his neck, "We'll find out."
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
You never thought you'd be at a gas station, in a different state, at four am, peeing on a stick in the bathroom to find out if a ghost was right about something.
You could have waited until you got back but you, Sam and even Colby needed to know tonight and not tomorrow or two days from now.
You cap the stick, shoving everything into your pockets before you walk back out to the car.
"Everything come out okay?" Colby turns as you get in and you nod, "Never thought I'd be doing this but here we are."
Sam turns around, "Yeah but how many people find out they're pregnant through a ghost?"
"Probably not many." You shake your head, taking a deep breath as you pull the stick from your pocket, "Should we let Colby look?"
Sam nods, "Yeah, please."
You hand the face down stick to Colby, "I wiped it off, don't worry." He laughs slightly and takes it from you, "No worries."
He looks between you and Sam, anxiety frozen on your faces, "Ready?"
You look at Sam and he takes your hand, "Yeah."
Colby flips it over and licks his lips.
"What, Colby? What does it say?" You ask as you and Sam lean forward. Colby turns the test away and takes a deep breath, "Call me uncle Colby."
He turns the test around and it's a very dark, visible positive.
"No fucking way." You whisper, "No.. fucking.. way."
Sam looks back at you, his jaw dropped, "Holy shit." He looks at Colby, "Holy shit." He takes the test, studying it, "No fucking way."
"In the words of Nancy, surprise. Are we happy?" Colby smirks slightly as he looks from you to Sam.
Sam leans over the seat, coming back to hug you, "Oh my god." He repeats over and over again, "Holy shit."
"Sam, hey. That can't be good for the baby. And I mean the actual baby, not y/n." Colby laughs and you laugh as Sam moves to sit next to you.
"How the hell.." Sam shakes his head and Colby sighs, "Well I can te-"
"Got that." You hold your hand up and smile as you shake your head, "What a crazy turn of events."
Sam lays a hand on your stomach, "I just don't.." he smiled and shakes his head, "Were not releasing this video until we're ready to announce it."
Colby nods, "Oh yeah I had the same idea. So if we're doing that..." he reaches over to the floor of the passenger's side and picks up the camera.
He turns it on and points it so it's on all of you, "So.. as you probably already know, Nancy, the loving spirit of the place we just left from, told us that y/n here.. is pregnant.." he can't help but smile, just like you and Sam, "We actually have the answer as to whether Nancy was right or not."
You look at Sam and Sam smiles, "We're having a baby!" Him and Colby both cheer, yell like they normally would to celebrate something, "Uncle Colby in the house!"
You laugh, "And to answer the question that Nancy asked, yes. We are very surprised, but also super happy."
"That we are. I think I was just in shock about hearing my name and baby in the same sentence, and I mean you seen y/n's reaction." Sam shakes his head smiling and then he sighs, "We just wanted to say sorry for lying about the lost footage, we actually did have it. Nothing got deleted.. we just wanted to wait until y/n and the baby were at a good spot in the pregnancy to announce it and we thought that holding onto this video was the perfect way to do so."
You look at Sam confused and he smirks, "I'm going to tweet that the footage mysteriously disappeared or something like that, I don't know."
"We'll figure it out, let's just head to the hotel and go from there." Colby sets the camera down and starts driving.
The whole way back to the hotel, Sam stayed next to you in the back, hand on your stomach as you guys talked about everything.
"If you guys have a boy, can his name be Colby?" Colby glances back at you and you laugh, "Your name is definitely going to be in it somewhere, Brock." You smile and he looked shocked that you said that.
"Wait.. really?" He asks and you and Sam both nod.
"Of course it's going to be, Colby. You've been there for me through everything." Sam reaches up and pats his shoulder.
Colby clears his throat, "I'm going to need you guys to get out of the car so you don't see me crying."
You laugh, "Aww, Colby." You reach up and squeeze his shoulder, "Don't act so surprised."
Colby laughs slightly, "I just.. I kinda knew that was going to happen but just the confirmation of it, you know?"
"I know, but I couldn't not do that." Sam chuckles, "You know that."
Colby nods and pulls into the hotel parking lot, "yeah yeah." He puts the car in park and gets out, knocking on the window for you guys to get out.
Sam gets out, walking around to open your door before Colby engulfs him in a hug. You take your phone out, recording them having their little celebration, smiling as they do a little dancey dance.
Colby points to you, "You're not getting off that easy, come here." You walk over and he hugs you, "Congratulations."
You smile, "Thanks uncle Colby."
He laughs, "You guys are going to be the best parents ever."
Sam walks up and it's now a group hug, "You know, I don't think there's any better way for us to find out, like we found out doing what we do."
"It was just perfect. Shocking, yes. But perfect for us." You rest your head on Sam's shoulder, "I can't wait to go to bed though. I'm so tired."
"Alright let's take this party inside." Sam rubs your back as you walk into the hotel, making your way up to your room.
"I'm going to post a snap, making it seem like tonight wasn't a good night." Colby says as he plops down on his bed.
You interlock your hand with Sam, pulling him to the bathroom, "I'm going to go shower."
"Mhm." Colby laughs and you hear him start talking to his phone, "So.. guys.. bad news.."
As soon as you shut the bathroom door, Sam is on you, "I knew there was something off about you." His lips move to yours and you moan against him.
"I've needed you all night." You whimper as you take off your sweatshirt and shirt in one swoop, "You have no idea."
"Think i needed you just as bad." He works to undo your jeans, and you push them down as he works on getting undressed himself.
He walks over turning the water on before coming back to you, "You just got so much more prettier." He bites his lip as his hand slides slowly over your stomach, "So much sexier."
You lay your hand on his, "We're going to have a baby."
He smiles and nods, "we sure are." He wraps an arm around you, "You're going to look so good with a baby bump. Shit, I can picture it already."
He pulls you into the shower with him, kissing you as the water washes over both of you.
"Sam.." you whimper quietly, "Please."
He lens down to slide his hands to the back of your thighs, "You know I'm going to be extra protective of you now."
"It'll be much hotter than it was before." You run your hand over his wet hair, moving it from his forehead.
He smirks, closing his eyes to your touch, "hmm."
He holds you up, your back pressed against the wall as he slides his hand between your bodies, gently rubbing your clit.
You gasp, closing your eyes as you rest your head against the wall, "Sam." You moan out quietly, "Please."
You feel his two fingers slide down, dipping inside of you as he curls them, watching your face twist as finally receiving some type of pleasure after waiting all day and night.
"Shit, daddy." You whimper and look at him, a smirk toying with your lips. His eyebrows raise and his head tilts slightly, "mhm. That's right."
You smile and he replaces his fingers with his cock, causing your eyes to roll back as you moan. Your back lifts from the wall and your nails dig into his shoulders, "F-fuck."
"You like that? Hmm. Is this what you wanted all day?" Sam's voice is quiet and he groans as he starts to thrust, "Fuck."
"You tighten your legs around him, moaning as he builds up to a pace that's absolutely perfect, "M'so close, daddy."
He leans in, kissing up your chest and neck, "Cum for me, mama."
His words, the tone of voice, and especially your hormones out of all sorts of wack right now sends you into overdrive.
You clench around him, filling the bathroom with moans as you let go around him, your orgasm ransacking your body until every inch or your body was feeling fuzzy.
"F-fuck." You whimper as he fucks you through your high, "Yes, yes yes."
Sam plants one hand on the wall, crashing his lips onto yours as you feel his cock twitch inside of you.
You lay your hands on his cheeks, gently pressing kisses to his cheeks as he slowly pulls out with a low groan.
He sets you down, helping you regain your balance and he pulls you in, "I'm so excited."
You nod, "Me too, Sam." You sigh, "I'm honestly glad it worked out this way and the fact that we have it on recording is even better."
He nods, "No one would believe us if we didn't."
You laugh slightly, "Yeah, no you're right. Speaking of, I kinda wanna go back and watch it." He smiles and nods, "You finish in here, I'll go get everything set up."
He gives you a kiss, cupping your cheeks as he leans back, "I love you."
You smile, "We love you."
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
Here's a little bonus :) enjoy!
Five months later.
"Are you going to upload it today?" Colby asks walking into the living room, "I mean, you can't hide it much longer, right?"
You shrug and look down at Sam's hand on your bump, "I mean, not really. He's growing like a weed." You laugh slightly and Colby's eyes go wide, "I'm.. sorry.. did you just.." he looks between you and Sam, "He?"
You laugh and cover your mouth, "Oh shit. I'm sorry. I thought you told him already." You look over at Sam, "No I wanted to tell him in person, but it worked out." He looks over at Colby, "you wanna know the name?"
Colby moves to sit down in front of you guys and nods, "Um yes please."
Sam moves the laptop off of his lap and sits up, "I think we're going to go with, Cole John Golbach."
You can see the tears welling up in Colby's eyes, you've never seen that man cry before.
"Colby?" You lean forward and tap his shoulder, "Are you okay?"
He nods, "Mhm." You can tell he's trying not to cry and if he speaks, the flood gates will open, "Yeah I just.." he stands up, covering his face and you hear him sniffle, "Thank you." He turns and you and Sam both get up and hug him.
You start crying because that's what pregnancy does to you.
"We love you, Colby." Sam pats Colby's chest and sniffles, "Alright. So are we ready to post this?"
You all move to the couch, on either side of Sam and watch as he works on posting the final video.
You bite your lip, watching as the video uploads and Sam pulls out his phone, going on twitter
@/samgolbach:Â new video coming here in a few minutes and let me tell you.. It's a must watch.

@/fanuser1: STOP IT why did they wait until now to post this? There's something happening..
"I can't wait until they get to the end." Colby chuckles, "They're going to lose their minds."
Sam nods, laying his hand on your bump, "I just wanted to make sure they were good before any type of announcement."
You told your close friends, but that's about it. You made sure that they promised to keep it under lock and key until the time came.
"Oh, and Colby." You lean forward to look at him and he looks up at you, "Yeah?"
"No one but us three knows the name of this baby." You smile and he starts to get choked up again, "O-okay." He laughs and shakes his head, "Damn it, dude."
You pick up your phone, sighing as you see a bunch of notifications, "They know." You laugh slightly, "I guess it's time now, I can post one of our bump pics, letting them know how far along we are."
You scroll through your pictures, finding the perfect one.

Summary: anon request - "I was actually wondering if you could write an imagine with Colby and his s/o is 6-7 months pregnant. And just like what he would do with the baby bump, how he would take care of her and just a day in their life with her pregnant... I hope that makes sense. Thank you!"

You smiled down at the tiny onesie in your lap, mind racing about how fast these last few months are really going to go.
You place the onesie in the drawer with the rest of the tiny clothing. You sigh as you look around the neatly decorated nursery, thinking about everything you have and everything you still have to get.
"Hey." Colby's voice is quiet and raspy, "Whatcha doin' up so early?" He walk over to you, bending down to kiss your head.
You smile and close your eyes as you feel his lips press to your forehead, "I had to pee, again." You laugh and look over at him as he sits down next to you, "then I just couldn't get comfortable and I didn't want to wake you with my constant tossing and turning."
He shakes his head, "Would have been fine, babe." He smiles and reaches over to grab a onesie from the laundry basket, "I can't believe she'll be here soon."
You lay your hands on your belly, feeling your baby girl swim around, "She loves the sound of your voice."
He smiles and glances down at your belly, "Yeah?"
You nod, "Yeah. She moves every time you talk." You reach your hand out, "Feel." He gives you his hand, letting you guide it to your belly.
His eyes go wide, "Whoa. She's really awake this morning."
You laugh slightly, "also why I couldn't get comfy." He gives you a small smile, "I'm sorry, y/n." You shake your head, "No, baby. Don't be sorry."
You run your nails gently over his hand, "I'm so excited to see you hold her." A big smile appears on his face and he sighs, "I'm actually so scared. Shes going to be so fragile and I-"
"Colby. Honey. You are going to be the absolute best daddy to her. You already love her so, so much and I know you won't let anything happen to her." You reach up, laying a hand on his cheek and he nods, "You're right."
"Of course I am." You laugh slightly and he rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah. Did you eat yet?"
You shake your head, "Alright." He stands up, "I'll call you when it's ready. Any specific cravings this morning?"
You purse your lips, thinking for a second before you smirk, "Chocolate."
He chuckles and gives you a thumbs up, "Got it."
You watch him walk out of the room before you look back, taking in everything as you gently rub your growing bump.
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
After breakfast and having a deep conversation about what's to come, you make your way to the couch and switch on the tv.
"So I was thinking.." Colby walks over and sits behind you. You lean back against his chest and lay your head back, "Thinking about what?"
"I was thinking about staying home today, hanging out with you and bean." He pokes your belly gently and you laugh slightly, "Don't you and Sam have that meeting today?"
He shrugs, "Yeah, but it can be moved to tomorrow or something." He kisses your head, "I just want to see you." His hands slide onto your belly as he rests his chin on your shoulder.
"Whatever you want to do, babe." You reach up, gently scratching his neck as you close your eyes.
"Why don't you take a nap. You were up early and I know just how tired you get." His fingers gently scratch over your bump, "I'll call Sam when you get up or something." You nod, already feeling like you could fall asleep.
Ah hour and a half later, you wake up, Colby still sitting behind you, "Get a good nap in?"
"You could have moved if you wanted to." You mumble, rubbing your eyes as you sit up. Colby placing his hands on your shoulders, leaning up, "I didn't want to."
You laugh slightly, turning so you can get up, "This baby is pushing on my bladder."
"I'm sure that's uncomfortable." He looks up at you and you nod, "Very much so." You waddle to the bathroom, sitting there for a few minutes as you fully wake up.
You stand in front of the mirror, eyes glued to your bump as if you're waiting to be woken from some sort of dream.
"Everything okay in there?" Colby gently knocks on the door and you smile, turning to open it.
Ever since you found out you were pregnant, Colby has been glued to your side. Always making sure you were okay, comfortable, cravings filled.
You really feel like you and Colby grew closer, all thanks to, as Colby calls her because you have no name yet, Bean.
"Yes. Everything came out okay." You joke as you walk into him, laying your head on his chest.
"Were you admiring the bump?" He chuckles and looks down at you as you nod, "Yeah, sometimes it just doesn't feel real."
He nods, "I know what you mean. I'm always staring at you, I just absolutely love you with this baby bump."
You look up at him, "Really?"
With all the good things that come with pregnancy, there's also bad things, such as insecurity, weight gain, swelling and mood swings, but Colby doesn't mind one bit.
"Really. You've opened up a whole other side to being beautiful and I can't get enough of it." He kisses your cheek and moves down, caressing your belly with his hands, "You're the best mama to bean, I know it."
He gently presses his lips to your shirt covered bump and the baby starts kicking and twirling like crazy.
"Whoa." He laughs, "She must really like me."
"I told you." You laugh as you run your hand through his hair, "It's every time you talk."
He stands back up, "l love you both." You smile as he leans in to kiss you.
"We love you." You wrap your arm around his back as he walks you back out to the couch, "I'm going to call Sam quick, see if we can change that meeting."
You nod, sitting down, "Why don't you see if you can do a phone meeting or something." He looks at you and you shrug, "I just know this is an important meeting and I just don't want to cause an inconvenience to anyone."
He sits down next to you, "You aren't and never will be an inconvenience. I can promise you that."
You sigh, trying to fight back the tears and Colby shakes his head, "Hey, hey. What's wrong?"
You sniffle, "I don't know.. I just.. I'm just so happy." You laugh as a tear rolls down your cheek, "And now I want a cheeseburger."
Colby pulls you to him, laughing slightly, "What an emotional rollercoaster." He pulls his phone out, bringing it up to his ear.
You look up at him, "What's are you doing?"
"Calling Sam. He'll bring you a cheeseburger." He laughs and you pout, "Colby."
"Hey, brother. I have a favor to ask." Colby laughs and looks down at you, "She's good, yeah. I was just going to see if you could come over, and bring cheeseburgers with you." He nods, "Yeah, she wants a cheeseburger."
You laugh and sniffle, "tell him bean and I love him."
"He said he loves you girls too and he'll be here in fifteen." Colby glances down at you and you nod, "Okay."
"Yeah, thank you. Uh huh. See ya." Colby hangs up and kisses your head, "Uncle Sam's on his way to save the day."
Colby sets his phone down and wraps his arm around you, "Sam is going to be beans favorite uncle."
"I agree with you. He'll do anything for her." You rub your belly and take a deep breath, "Have you thought of a name yet?"
He sighs, "I've been thinking, but nothing really sticks." He lays a hand on yours, "maybe once we see her we'll know."
You shrug, "Maybe. I just feel like she needs a name." You close your eyes, emotions taking over and Colby kisses your head, holding you a little bit tighter, "Hey. She'll get one. Okay? She won't be bean no name her whole life."
You laugh and shake your head, "You're right." You sit up, looking at him, "Thank you for always being here." He leans in, kissing your lips, "You'd have to bury me to get me away."
You laugh and lay a hand on his cheek, "That's not happening."
"Good. I was kinda scared you'd consider it." He jokes and you roll your eyes, "Oh yeah, all the time." You smirk and stand up, "I'm going to go change."
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
"Hey, hey, hey." Sam says as he walks through the door, "Someone order a few cheeseburgers?"
You walk over to him, taking the bag from his hands, "You're a life saver." He smiles and lays an arm over your shoulder, "anything for my niece."
You laugh, shaking your head as you focus on finally getting to eat the burger you've been non stop thinking about, "Where's Colby?"
"Baby's room." You say before you take a bite, "He's putting together her bassinet." You cover your mouth with your hand as you chew.
Sam nods, walking back the small hallway, "Daddy, where are you?"
You roll your eyes, laughing as you hear Colby say in a girly tone, "In here, sweetie."
You sit down on the chair, continuing to eat as you wait for them to come out, "That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life." Colby walks over to you, "I pinched my finger three times, but it's finally together and looking cute in the corner."
You smile slightly, reaching out to take his hand to look, "Are you okay?"
He nods, "Oh yeah, I'm good, also. We're going to just do that meeting via zoom today here if that's alright."
You nod, "That's fine, whatever you need to do."
"How was the burger? Satisfy your cravings?" Sam asks with a laugh and you nod, "you have no idea."
Sam stares at you for a few seconds, looking up at Colby and shaking his head, âI canât believe that Colby is going to be a dad.â
âI canât believe it either, Sam.â Colby rubs his hand up and down your back, âI think Iâm more scared of this than I am when we were staying a week at the conjuring house.â
âThat was terrifying.â Sam sits down, âGot a name yet?â
You shake your head, âNot yet. Weâre hoping to come up with one soon. That the only stresser right now.â
Sam nods, âSamantha is a really good name.â He smirks, âOh, or Sammie.. thatâs adorable.â
âI think we should tell him.â Colby looks at you and you nod, âYeah, he kinda just opened the bag and let the cat out.â
âI did what?â Sam tilts his head and laughs and you look over at him, âHer middle name will be Samantha after the best uncle she could ask for.â
âExcuse me.â Sam gets up, walking back the hall and you hear a loud, sarcastically dramatic sob. He walks back out, calm and cool, âThatâs amazing.â
Colby laughs and walks over to hug him, they do their little spiel about being brothers, blah blah, and you have to pee again.
You make your way to the bathroom then coming out to finish your food. As youâre eating, your phone dings with an email, âHey Colby.â
âWhatâs up, babe?â He walks over to you and lays a hand on your hip, âYou good?â
You nod, holding up your phone, âOur shower invites are in.â He takes your phone, eyes scanning over the screen, âThese are amazing.â
He walks over, âSam, look at these.â
You never thought that youâd see two ghost hunters freak out over baby shower invitations.
âThose are adorable!â Sam shakes his head, âIâm going to keep mine forever.â
You laugh, âUh huh.â
.¡:*¨ â ¨*:¡.
Later on, after their meeting, youâre scrolling down through the registry, looking at what everyone has gotten you guys so far.
âWhat else do we need for bean?â You look up, lifting a finger from your fist with each thing you say, âI know we have swaddles, blankets, crib sheets, and everything else I think.â
Colby brushes hair from your face, âUm..â he looks at your phone, watching as your scroll, âI think we have everything that we need for her, and if itâs not here weâll get it at the shower next month.â
You sigh, âI feel like weâre missing something.â
âDiapers? Canât have too many of them.â Colby chuckles and you snap your fingers, âI think thatâs it!â
He shakes his head, kissing your head, âYou need to relax, babe. Just take a minute away from all of that.â You sigh, handing him your phone to take it away from you, âYouâre right. Sorry, I just-â
âDonât apologize to me. Everything will be absolutely perfect and weâll get through it if not. Sheâs already so spoiled, did you see all the stuff Sam bought?â
You laugh and nod, âShe wonât be without anything for a while.â
âExactly. Now just come here.â He pulls you back into him and you let out a sigh, âI think Iâm just trying to keep myself busy so I donât keep worrying about it all.â
âYouâre her mama. It bound to happen, but you can just try and take a breather for one night. Stressing isnât good for you or her.â He runs his hand up and down your arm, âYouâre going to be such a good mama. I promise you.â
You smile, nodding against his chest, âAnd youâre going to be such a good daddy to her.â
The rest of the night, Colby tries to keep your mind occupied by putting on your favorite show and pampering you in anyway he can.
Lotion on your belly, talking to the baby in gentle tone, and getting you any of your craving that make their way to the surface.
You never thought youâd be here, but you couldnât be more thankful for Colby and all he does for you.

Who's the dad
This is a Evan Buckley (9-1-1) fanfiction I have finally decided to post. It is the first or second fanfiction I have written in my whole life so this is probably bad. English is not my first language so there could be a few mistakes.
I hope everyone who reads this enjoys it. If anyone has feedback, I am open for it.<3
Summary: A few months after a one-night stand leaves (Y/N) pregnant, she unexpectedly meets the baby's father at a BBQ at her dad's fire station.
The blonde guy was hot, (Y/N) had to admit. His baby blue shirt lets his eyes glow in the most perfect way.
âSo why are you here today?â, (Y/N) asked. They both had a silent deal: no nameâs, no prying for information.
âHard day at workâ, the man answered. âYou?â
âHard week.â (Y/N) knew she was already drunk, but she ordered another tequila. In the afternoon, she brought her kids to their grandparents, Bobby and Athena. The reason she told them: I need the evening for drinking until I donât even know my name anymore.
She knew drinking wasnât going to solve her problem, but it would numb her for at least one night. It would make her forget the pain.
The man nodded, but she didnât even know what she had said before.
They drank a few drinks together until both of them saw black spots dancing in front of their eyes.
(Y/N) knew it was wrong what she wanted to do know. She wanted to kiss this man. She wanted to forget why she was here tonight. She knew exactly how wrong it would be. How disappointed everyone would look at her. But screw it. She wanted him and she wanted him now.
She leant forward and pressed a kiss on his lips. It felt so right, but so wrong. It didnât matter. The blonde deepened the kiss. The next thing (Y/N) knew was that they were in the manâs apartment. In his bed.
___
(Y/N) did her best to hide the baby bump â but it didnât help much. Maybe she could tell everyone she has just eaten too much when they were in Europe. She hasnât seen anyone of her family in the last 5 months. They didnât know she was pregnant and they are not supposed to. Half a year ago she packed her stuff and drove away with the kids.
After her husband died and she slept with this stranger, she had to leave. She wasnât able to stay anymore. She was ashamed of herself. How was she able to sleep with someone just some hours after Henry died? They werenât always happy but she loved him. He had been her world. Until he was gone.
âMommy? How much longer we have to drive?â James asked from the back of the car. He was the most impatient of her kids.
âOnly around half an hour then you can finally see grandpa and grandma again.â
(Y/N) heard a sigh from her son and chuckled.
âIs there going to be cake? Is grandpa going to make pasta for us?â Cameron. She and James are twins and couldnât be more similar. Both impatient and always hungry until they ate two bites and complain about being too full to eat any more.
âI donât know. I have never been to a party at the station.â Nobody knew they were going to come. It was going to be a surprise.
Suddenly, Emily began to cry in her seat. The two-year old always slept in the car, but when she woke up, she always had a shock and started to cry when she noticed they were driving.
âLiv, can you please give Emily her pacifier?â The 14-year-old didnât seem to hear her mom, as she had her headphones in her ears and scrolled through TikTokâs.
âLiv! Give your sister her damn pacifier!â Finally.
After two weeks in Europe, (Y/N) was already super annoyed. She tried to keep it cool, but it wasnât easy to be with four kids and pregnant when she didnât have her husband around.
___
Just a few minutes later, (Y/N) parked in front of the firehouse. She had been here before. Not inside it but she had dropped off her father a few times when his car was at the car repair.
âOk! We are here! All out of the car!â (Y/N) picked up her youngest and followed the rest of the kids inside the firehouse.
She didnât see many people downstairs, but around 50 people were upstairs.
â(Y/N)? Hey! Youâre back! Where were you in the last few months? We tried to call you but you didnât answer. We were so worried!â Bobby literally ran to her and hugged her as tightly as possible with Emily between them. âShe grew up so muchâ, he said, reaching out to stroke Emilyâs back.
âYes. She absolutely did.â (Y/N) could see the worried and exhausted expression on her fatherâs face and immediately felt sorry for not even writing him and Athena a message that she and the kids were ok.
âMay I introduce you to the team?â, Bobby asked after hugging the twins and Liv, who finally put away her headphones.
The 118âs Captain led his family to a bunch of people in uniforms.
âThese guys are Eddie, Chimney, Hen and Buck.â (Y/N)âs breath caught in her throat. Fuck. The super-hot guy stood in front of her. With his uniform he looked even better that in his baby blue shirt he wore the last time. Why the fuck did she still remember what this guy had worn when they met in the bar?!
âMeet (Y/N), Liv, James, Cameron and Emily.â
âHey! Nice to meet yâallâ, (Y/N) said overly friendly, trying to hide the surprise, as well as Buck did.
âGrandpa? You have cake?â, Cameron asked Bobby.
âOf course. A party without cake isnât a party. Come on, Iâll show you all.â Bobby led the kids away from (Y/N) and the team, over to the kitchen island on which many plates of cake were standing.
ââSo⌠you are Capâs daughter?â, a brown-haired man asked, who (Y/N) remembered as Eddie.
âYepp, thatâs me.â (Y/N) looked at Buck who looked just as surprised, as she felt.
âSo, you are Buck?â, she asked him just as a try to build a conversation. She tugged gently on her shirt, as she didnât want Buck to notice her baby bump.
âUhm⌠yes. I am. Evan Buckley. So⌠these are your kids? You look quite youngâ, Buck asked and (Y/N) furrowed her brow until she realized, they havenât talked about ages when they spent the night together. She was quite young for already having 4 kids. She had Liv when she was 16, but she barely told people, as she always got these judging looks.
âYes, they are.â (Y/N) stared at the ground, unable to hold eye contact with the man she had a breathtaking night.
âFatherâs not in the picture?â, Eddie asked and (Y/N) could see that Buck was relieved, that his friend asked the question, so he didnât seem too suspicious.
âUm, no. He died 5 months ago. Car accident.â Instead of staring at the ground, (Y/N) now looked at the ceiling, trying to stop the tears, which always threatened to flow freely, whenever she talked about her late husband.
When she finally managed to make eye contact with Evan, she could see pain written over his face. Her husband died 5 months ago, around the same time, she slept with him. Had he been some kind of replacement? He knew they agreed to one night â no personal information, but it still hurt to know she didnât actually feel the tiniest bit. She only had tried to compensate everything.
---
Around 3 hours later, in which the 118 got a small call once but came back after only one and a half hour, they all sat at the big table, because it was dinner time. Most of the time, (Y/N) stood on the sidelines, as she didnât really feel comfortable around all these people she barely knew, and Buck. Nobody seemed to have noticed the baby bump which was covered under her shirt.
And now, (Y/N) even felt nauseous and had cramps in her lower belly. Her other pregnancies had gone quite well, except the last few months with the twins, but this pregnancy was terrible. She already had to go to hospital 4 times in the last 5 months, as she couldnât keep anything down and had been severely dehydrated.
After only 2 bites, (Y/N) had to lay down the fork because she felt like she would throw up right away if she ate only one more bite. She had already thrown up breakfast and everything she drank today. She was lucky no one noticed she hasnât eaten a piece of cake before. Â
âAre you ok?â, the brown-haired man from before asked. Eddie? (Y/N) has always been terrible with names and couldnât remember any. It took her 2 weeks to even remember Henryâs name after she met him, something he also made fun of, even years later.
âUh yes. Just not feeling too great todayâ, she answered, trying to suppress the feeling to be sick. Her throat felt tight and her stomach felt like it was twisting and turning. The cramps were still present. She knew she wasnât having a miscarriage as she once had one, and it felt different. The symptoms were pretty much the same, but she had another feeling. She had felt like something was missing, but this here wasnât any better.
âYou sure? You donât look too good and you havenât eaten much. Donât you like the food?â, her father intervened now.
âThe foodâs great. Really. I havenât been feeling my best today, thatâs it.â
âDo you want one of the medics to take a look at you?â Bobby really seemed worried, but his daughter waved him off.
âDad. Donât make more out of it than it is.â Her dad made an acknowledging sound and (Y/N) thanked him silently with a small nod.
(Y/N) fidgeted with her hands, a nervous habit, she always did when she felt uncomfortable. Today, this many people were too much. She has never liked being around many people for a long time. She felt like everyone was staring at her and making fun off her or thinking of her as a disappointment when she did something wrong. Her kids were different, except of Liv. Liv came after her mom in these things, while the others luckily came after their dad and were the most social persons in this world.
Everyone looked at (Y/N), as she suddenly stood up, because a wave of nausea waved over her. As fast as possible she went to the restrooms, but only made it to the sink, where she threw up the bit of water she had managed to drink before. She rinsed her mouth and looked in the mirror. She looked like shit. Her skin was pale and her lips dry.
The door opened, and a woman stepped inside. She was around as tall as (Y/N) was and wore a wine-red shirt, that showed she worked at the 911 dispatch center. Had she been at the dinner table before? Or has (Y/N) just not seen her?
âOh hey. Sorry. Just needed a break from out there. Who are you? I have never seen you here before. I am Maddie by the way. Chimneyâs fiancĂŠ, Buckâs sister.â
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow. Buckâs sister?
â(Y/N). Bobbyâs daughter. Nice to meet you.â
âAre you okay? You donât look too well.â Again, this question. No, she wasnât ok. But she didnât say anything, so everyone should stop asking her. If she wanted someone to know she wasnât well, she would tell.
âItâs okay. Just not feeling my best today.â Maddie nodded.
âOk.â She didnât pry further to get information, what (Y/N) was very thankful for.
âSoo. You are Bobbyâs daughter? Athena has never mentioned, that Bobby has a daughter. She usually talks about everything.â Maddie furrowed her brow.
(Y/N) shrugged her shoulders.
âHe doesnât like talking about his private life too much.â
(Y/N) went back to the table, after she was sure she wouldnât have to throw up again. But when she arrived at the dinner table again, she felt she was dizzy. Congratulations. First, she was sick and now she was dizzy because she didnât drink or eat enough today.
She caught Bobbyâs concerned gaze as he was looking at her, before everything went black.
___
âHeyyy! Here we go. You with us again?â She felt something painful on her chest and after a few moments she realized it was someone performing sternal rub to bring her back around. (Y/N) grumbled something.
When she tried to sit up again, there was a firm hand on her shoulder that kept her laid down.
âDamn, let me sit up if I want to. I am fine.â But (Y/N) noticed on her own how hoarse she sounded from being sick.
The hand suddenly disappeared from her shoulder, but when (Y/N) sat up, the hand was back at her back to steady her and kept her from falling over. Finally, she managed to open her eyes and caught look on the brown-haired man â Eddie. Evan sat directly next to her.
âWe are just going to check a few things, ok?â All (Y/N) did, was giving an acknowledging sound from her.
The next thing she felt was a pulse-oximeter being slipped on her index finger and a blood pressure cuff on the other arm. She winced when Eddie inflated it and it squeezed tightly around her arm, which made her eyes well up with tears.
She had never liked the BP reading. When she was a kid, she cried freely as it made her arm feel like needles were jabbing it.
âSorry.â Eddie was quick to deflate the cuff again after noticing the tears in (Y/N)âs eyes but she just shook her head to show everythingâs ok. âBPâs 108/70. We are going to give you something to raise it again.â
âNo! Wait!â (Y/N) frantically said. âI⌠IâŚâ She made a sign for Eddie to come near to her so she could whisper into his ear without anyone hearing it. âI am pregnant but no one can know yet. I didnât tell anyone.â
âOkayyy⌠I think we should go somewhere more private.â (Y/N) nodded agreeing.
Despite the otherâs confused looks, they made their way to the locker room. Once they were there, Eddie began talking again.
âHas this happened before?â
âYes, I already was in hospital because of it but it is just this morning sickness. I canât keep anything down and it makes me dehydrated.â When (Y/N) looked to her right, she could see Buck looking at them but he couldnât hear anything, right? He wasnât as near and it was quite loud upstairs.
âMhm. I want to hook you up on an IV if thatâs ok with you? I donât want you to be as dehydrated as you are now and I figure you donât want a trip to the ER?â
âYes, if that is possible, please.â
Only a few seconds later, (Y/N) could see her dad storming into the locker room.
âSweetheart, what happened?â He looked kind of mad but also worried.
âEhm⌠It is complicaâŚâ
âShe is dehydrated because she didnât drink or eat enough. She just wants to be alone for a moment and I can give her an IV,â Eddie intervened. (Y/N) shot him a thankful gaze and a tiny smile. She liked Eddie. He was really kind. She couldnât think of any of her friends, who would do that for her.
âMhm. Ok. I am going to call Athena. She said she would be here earlier. Iâll come back later.â
Bobby disappeared as fast as he came into the room.
âThanks. For not telling him.â Eddie smiled at her.
âItâs not on me. And I think there are going to be better circumstances for that talk. How far are you?â
â5 months.â
âAh. May I askâŚâ, he hesitated for a moment. âIs it your late husbandâs baby?â
âNo.â You didnât know for sure why you told him, but he kind of let you feel calm and safe. âWe didnât⌠you know⌠the time before he died. We argued a lot. Had a one-night stand just a few hours after he died.â
âYou know the father? Were you able to call and tell him?â Eddie looked honestly interested while he put an IV bag out of the medkit.
(Y/N) shook her head before nodding.
âI havenât seen him⌠until today.â Eddie looked shocked and raised his eyebrows.
âToday? Is he here? At the station?â
(Y/N) nodded guiltily and looked at the ground when she heard Eddie chuckle.
âDamn, tell me more. Who is it?â
âBuck.â
âBuck?â The firefighter looked even more shocked than before and you nodded again.
âI didnât know his name we agreed to âno personal informationâ. Why would I know he worked at my dadâs workplace? God⌠when he will find out he is going to be so pissed.â Eddie shook his head.
âNah, I donât think so. He will understand. And hey. You donât have to defend yourself.â She smiled at his kindness.
She watched as Eddie swabbed the alcohol pad over the back of her hand.
âI would recommend to close your eyes if you are not good with needlesâ, he suggested. But (Y/N) couldnât. She needed to see what Eddie was doing, even though she wasnât good with needles. When the firefighter pushed the needle in the back of her hand, she let out a small squeal.
âTold you to keep your eyes closed but you refused to listen.â She heard Eddie chuckle. âDo you have any other symptoms I should be worried about?â
âI have crampsâ, she admitted.
âLower belly?â (Y/N) nodded. Why couldnât she just have been home. She would lie on the couch and relax, but instead she was here, being poked and prodded by a firefighter.
âCan I take a look?â She nodded again. Eddie pulled her shirt over her abdomen and pressed his palm on different spots. (Y/N) looked upstairs, and froze. Fuck. She forgot that Evan was still standing upstairs, looking at the locker room. Looking at her.
Her eyes widened. Why had she agreed to this? Why didnât she insist on being ok and went home? Why was she so stupid? She wanted to slap herself for not thinking.
Eddie seemed to notice her sudden panic, the pulse-oximeter, which was still clipped to her finger, chirped in high pitched noises.
âHey, hey. Look at me. Deep breaths. Whatâs up?â
âB⌠Buck.â The firefighter looked where she was pointing at and sucked in a deep breath.
âOk. Thatâs ok. Weâll fix that, after we are finished here, ok? Itâll be ok. Donât worry. Try to breathe with me, the baby wonât like you breathing like that.â Demonstrative, Eddie took some deep breaths. âDo you know the gender yet?â
(Y/N) could tell that Eddie was only trying to distract her but she played along.
âA⌠girl. Itâs a girl. Again.â She laughed. Her breathing became slower, steadier.
âThatâs great. You already told your kids?â
âMhm.â
âHow did they react? Are they happy?â Eddie grinned at her.
âY⌠yes. They are. James was a bit d- disappointed at first. H- he hoped he would finally get a brother t- to play soccer with.â (Y/N) smiled. âBut the g- girls were all over t-the moon.â
The brown-haired man, put an oxygen mask over her face, which she tried to pull off, but his hand was immediately back, to hold the mask in place.
âLet it on, pleaseâ, he said with a look at the pulse-oximeter which was still chirping. âItâll make it easier to breathe for you.
(Y/N) nodded, even though she hated the feeling of the mask, which made her feel the opposite of âeasier to breatheâ.
âCan I have a listen to the babyâs heartbeat?â After he had seen (Y/N) nodded again, he took the stethoscope and pressed the diaphragm to her belly.
âLooks good so far. The heartbeat is a bit fast for my liking but itâs nothing too concerning, just take some deep breaths, ok?â
âCopy, Firefighter Diaz.â (Y/N) took some deep breaths.
Just a few seconds later, someone stormed into the locker room. Buck.
âYou⌠you are pregnant?â Buck hoped that (Y/N) would tell him it wasnât his. That it was her husbandâs.
âYes.â She was surprised that her voice didnât sound as high and panicking as she thought it would. She was scared. Scared of Buckâs reaction, which became even more clear, as the pulse-oximeter started to chirp frantically again.
Eddie took a look and was surprised how high the shown numbers were.
âDeep breathsâ, he commanded her. But she couldnât.
âWhoâs the dad? Is it mine? Or is there a tiny chance, that it is your husbandâs?â Even though (Y/N) thought something like that would come out of Buckâs mouth, she felt disappointment deep in her. She hoped he would not sound as panicked as he was now.
âYourâs.â (Y/N) fell silent, holding her breath in anticipation of what Evan would say now.
âOh⌠wow. I have to admit that is a shock. Why⌠why didnât you tell me? I could have been there with you.â
âI didnât have your number, your address, your workplace. Not even your name! I didnât even know if you lived in LA or somewhere else! What should I have done?â
Eddie put the oxygen mask over her mouth and nose, that she just put off again, but she immediately put it back to the floor. She didnât want to breathe in the oxygen. It made her feel lightheaded and nauseous and gave her a headache.
â(Y/N)! Damn, breathe properly now the babyâs not comfortable anymore. Buck, I think you should go now and let her breathe a bit without the stress, this conversation puts on her.â
âNo, he wonât go now! Not until this conversation is finished!â (Y/N) glared at Eddie. She wasnât sure if that were the pregnancy hormones speaking out of her which have made her a bit temperamental these last few months.
âWhat do you want to do now? Buck? Do you have a girlfriend? Do you want to be a part in the babyâs life? Do you want to be part in MY life? I need to know it.â She could feel tears welling up in her eyes. Definitely the hormones which made her act strange at the moment.
âI donât know exactly what I want to do now. But I donât have a girlfriend. And I want to be part of the babyâs life. I want to be their fatherâŚâ
âHer. Itâs a girlie. Again.â (Y/N) could see Evan smiling a bit.
âOk. I want to be HER father and spend time with her. And I think I would like to try to go on a date⌠with you. If you think you are ready. I liked you the last time we met, even though that could be because I had been really drunk that night.â Buck laughed and blushed a bit.
âI think⌠I think we can give it a try. I donât know if I am ready for everything. But I do know I am ready for something. And maybe that could be with you.â
âOk⌠uhm⌠great. And now you should really try to breathe properly with that mask. I know itâs not great, but even I can recognize how high your vitals are.â
She did as she was told. (Y/N) knew she liked Buck. He was cute. She wouldnât have imagined to see a man like him blushing when talking about a baby and dating.
âIâm nauseous.â Eddie and Buck both looked a bit worried.
âDeep breaths. I think itâs just the IV and oxygen. I put some meds in the IV that should help with the belly cramps, that could make you feel nauseous.â
(Y/N) only nodded. She suddenly felt exhausted. The adrenaline of the day started to wear of.
âI think Iâm gonna drive the kids home and we are going to relax a bit while watching some tv. Thank you for everything.â
âWait. Stop. I wonât let you drive home alone. You donât feel good and I wouldnât like to know you donât have anyone with you except you kids.â She nodded again. Evan was right. It would be stupid to not have anyone around her.
âI can come with you. Just if thatâs ok with you.â
âYes. That would be great. Thanks.â
âNo problem. Shall we take your car?â
âMhm.â She was thankful. She could really imagine Buck as a boyfriend. He is great.
---
âThat doesnât make any sense.â Evan laughed. He, (Y/N) and Liv were sat on the couch, watching a firefighter show, (Y/N) and Liv had been addicted to in the last few weeks.
âIt doesnât matter! This show is great!â Liv and Evan discussed about the mistakes in the show since around 10 minutes and it made (Y/N) smile. It was like a real family. Even though it hurt her a bit that it wasnât Henry, sitting here. But letâs be honest: Henry would have never watched a show like that.
âThat doesnât change the fact, that you donât use the saw like that. Itâs just not safe!â
âThen just do not pay attention to the details.â Now, it was Liv laughing. (Y/N) hasnât seen her daughter that happy in the last few months. She tried to cover up her emotions but it didnât work completely. Her eyes started to burn and she felt a pressure building up. No, she wasnât going to cry. Not in front of Evan. Her daughter. No.
âIâll go to toilet for a moment.â She hoped nobody would notice she was about to cry, but her voice gave it away. She sounded hoarse and her voice broke at some point.
She locked the bathroom door and sank down to the cold floor, where she curled up, leaning her back on the even colder wall. Her hand was rubbing circles over her swollen belly. Damn it.
(Y/N) knew she missed Henry. She knew her kids have missed him every second since his death. But she was scared. Scared that moving on with Evan would make her forget her late husband. She heard a gentle knock on the wooden bathroom door.
âMay I come in?â Buck.
âOk.â Her voice sounded hoarse. She attempted to brush the tears away but it really didnât work. Her eyes were still read, as well as her cheeks.
She got up to unlock the door, for Buck to come in. After he stepped inside the room, he closed the door again. He sat down next to her, and (Y/N) leaned her head on his shoulder.
âWhatâs up?â, he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
âNothing.â Evan shot her a look, that said more than a thousand words.
âThis honestly doesnât look like nothing.â
âI donât want to forget Henry. And I am scared. I have never had a relationship before him. And I still have cramps. And I still donât feel too good in general. And I am scared of giving birth alone. And I am scared of everything else in my life.â Buck looked at her with a concerned expression and immediately pulled her into a hug as (Y/N) began to cry again.
âOk. So, we first go to hospital, because these cramps make me worried, and then we can figure everything else out, ok?â He pressed a sloppy kiss on (Y/N)âs forehead, and she nodded.
âMhm. But you need to help me get up, the baby is in the way.â

If someone had asked if Sherlock had ever wanted kids, he would have outright ignored them. He hardly knew the answer to that himself. But now, with his wife of five years carrying his daughter, with only two months to go, he was immensely excited to meet his little girl.
The only part he could really go without is his wifeâs âbaby brainâ, as she calls it. She is constantly forgetting things or getting sidetracked. And donât even get him started on her mood swings and cravings.
Nearly every morning she wakes him up at an ungodly hour stating she wants anything from fried pickles and cream cheese to pizza with caramel sauce. And if he refuses, tears start to silently pool in her (E/C) eyes. Heâd sigh and slide out of bed.
However, this time, rather than (Y/N) shaking him awake, he awoke to the rancid smell of something burning and the light sobs of his wife coming from the kitchen. Panic flared up in the detective and he jumped from the bed, running into the kitchen.
His shout of panic died in his throat. There was no fire. No blood. Nothing that showed a serious problem. Just his seven-month pregnant wife, scratching at a blackened bagel with a butter knife, tears streaming down her flushed cheeks and tiny sobs hiccupping out of her lungs.
â(Y/N), love, what in Godâs name are you doing?â He stepped up to her, taking the knife from her trembling hand. She didnât look up at him, only thumping her forehead against his chest.
âI-I wanted bagels, and I knew you were tired from the case, s-s-so I got up to make them myself⌠The bagels were too big for the toaster so I put them in the oven. Th-th I fell asleep⌠When I woke up the kitchen smelled so horrible⌠I-I-I⌠I burnt my bagels!!â She sobbed even harder and wrapped her arms around Sherlockâs torso.
If it were anyone else, he would scoff at the sheer ridiculousness of the scene before him, but this was (Y/N), his (Y/N). He couldnât help but appreciate the humor in this moment. A chuckle bubbled past his lips until it was full blown laughter.
He wrapped his arms around her and gently swayed her as he laughed. She stopped sobbing to look up at him with a slightly offended look.
âWhy are you laughing!? I was seriously scared, Sherlock! What if I burned the flat down!? Are you even listening!?â (Y/N) cried, now angry tears fell from her bloodshot eyes.
âOh, yes, my dear, I am listening. As I see it, you didnât burn down the flat so no harm was done. Now, letâs get you back to bed, youâre nearly asleep on your feet.â Sherlock pressed a kiss to her forehead and led her away from the kitchen.
âBut I still want my bagelâŚâ She whimpered, holding her husbandâs hand as he pulled her into their bedroom.
âIâll make you a new one, love. Now lay down.â
âBut there will be crumbs in the bed, Sherl!â She moved from whimpering to whining. He sighed and nudged her onto the bed. She complained even though she was doing as he asked without a physical struggle.
âDonât worry about it. Just close your eyes.â He sat on the edge of the bed, running his hand through her hair. This side of him, caring and affectionate, it was a side he never showed anyone but you. Which is why no one believed you when you said Sherlock was the sweetest man you had ever met.
By the time Sherlockâs hand finished its fifth pass through her hair, she had fallen asleep once more, her hand clamped around his. He allowed himself a small smile of bliss as he laid down next to her.
His eyes flicked over her features, memorizing her face in this moment so he can go back and remember how lucky he was to have such a woman love him enough to marry and have a child with a man such as him. Loving her wasnât hard. It wasnât even a disadvantage. His mind was clearer with her, sharper with her.
He would do anything for her, and their child.
Even if it was waking up at three in the morning to the smell of burning bagels.
