I feel called out by that first one-
I feel like an important difference between the cores is where they live/would like to live
Crow/Ravencore: city or suburban areas with plenty of gas stations to raid and people to irritate, temperature where you can wear a hoodie or flannel all year round, neon lights advertising grocery stores, leaving feathers on the ground for someone else to find and treasure
Vulture culture: warm sandy places, roads disappearing into the distance, jagged mountains on the horizon, scraggly trees surviving no matter the weather and no one is sure how, keeping a collection of bones safe and comfortable
Goblincore: mossy forests with trees that have existed since the beginning of time, the constant dripping of water into puddles filled with frogs, branches curving to reach the sun making a perfect hovel to curl up in with the hoard
Dragoncore: caves with high ceilings and stalagmites and stalactites forming a cell for prisoners, crystals and jewels studding the floors that make lovely clicking sounds when stepped on, piles and piles of cold shiny coins to relax on, luxury around every corner
Dirtcore: an underground tunnel system leading to everywhere possible, worm friends cheerfully wriggling along, the cool feeling of earth under your feet changing to grass as you emerge in the sunlight, burying things in rich soil for later or to watch it grow into somethingbeautiful
Not even ashamed to admit the level of stronghold a game about collecting moths has over me
"Starlight"
If you prefer butterflies there's a game that's exactly the same, just you collect butterflies, its called "Flutter"
