Chapter three is up.

Peter Parker is initially targeted as a means to ensure cooperation by Tony Stark. This eventually spurs into something different, and the spider is caught by someone much worse than his original kidnapper. Peter’s a very popular target when it comes to kidnapping, and somehow, Tony Stark must find a way to get his kid back after multiple subsequent kidnappings.

I love it in Fanfiction when the authors try to explain comic book science, like I get so hooked on their explanations of how impossible things can become possible, especially with superpowers in fiction

Since the original media itself can’t delve too much into the mechanics of the world or just info dump all of the little niche ways on how these could theoretically work, Fanfiction gets to pick up the slack

One of my favourite examples of this (and also their explanations of a made up political system that the original media can’t relay without making it seemed forced) is reconcile by whatagoodegg (on ao3) like they just get to mess around with the ramifications of the society of bnha, and also the comic book science of bnha
