The cast and crew of The Untamed never had “bromance” in mind; they set out to film a love story, and here is the evidence – actors having a heated lovers’ spat about when they fell in love, while directors try to calm them down.
The track they referenced is Shin Band’s “I Love You Even If You Die” – a 2002 power ballad about apocalyptic undying love that’s over-the-top yet oddly fitting, especially with its dramatic lyrics re: “us against the world”, “till the end of the earth”, and “go it alone into the dark”.

These two kept making bloopers because they couldn’t get their minds out of the gutter. For a long time, fans familiar with this BTS clip couldn’t figure out what’s so funny about the idiom LWJ used. The phrase 定有蹊蹺 is nothing out of the ordinary:
“There must be some misdirection.”
Now the mystery’s solved: earlier this year, someone finally realized that the dialog preceding that sentence could be taken as off-color innuendoes if you tried really hard. They so did try.
At first I thought it was because this idiom 定有蹊蹺 (ding you qi qiao) sounded a bit like 定有雞翹 (ding you ji qiao), a dick reference, and it turns out I wasn’t too far off. Usually it’s hard to translate jokes, but in this case it just happens that a similar-sounding phrase in English exists:
“There must be some missed erection.”
