I can't stop thinking about Hunter and the way he can sense Crosshair's presence.
It might only be for 0.86 seconds but he KNEW it was Crosshair before Crosshair actually started walking down the ramp...
...Hunter has done this several times before. It's possible the two of them have had this connection FOREVER...
...Maybe it's the way Crosshair walks?? Maybe it's similar to a "twin" thing?? Or maybe it's just part of Hunter's enhanced senses?? Whatever the reason, Hunter & Crosshair have a very specific connection.

I don’t even ship them but honestly it makes so much sense.
Crosshair is CANONICALLY obsessed with Hunter.
Another thing about "Aftermath" that I'm highly fixated on is that when the Batch get to Kaller, before Order 66 gets called, they're fighting the battle droids and at one point Hunter gives Crosshair an order and Crosshair over in his sniper's perch, gives a genuinely enthusiastic "Sir, yes sir!" with a slight purr. Man wants to be topped by his sergeant so bad
