The next two weeks had seemed to pass in a blur of tests, quizzes, and studying. Anita and Brian had been moving quickly and were now an official couple, and while you didn’t want to give her or yourself any false hope about their relationship, you had a feeling that this might be it for her. You had grown accustomed to having Brian in your flat on evenings he had free, and the sight of her happiness made you just as, if not more, hopeful.
John had been more busy with rehearsals and you hadn’t been able to see him as much as you used to. Your normally scheduled dinners and lunches had been interrupted for rehearsal, the only time you really got to see him would be to study in the library some evenings afterwards. On multiple occasions he had tried to apologize for being unable to evenly split his time up, but you had assured him that you were thrilled he had found a way to pursue his music while also being in school. However you had forced him to meet you for lunch this afternoon, band practice or not, because you simply needed to catch up. Plus, you were hoping to get more intel on what Brian was thinking about his and Anita’s relationship at her request.
