NOW me n a friend r hosting the idea of a Pacific Rim fanfiction/self-insert story. Might pause other work to enjoy that for a while until I get more ideas &or motivation for my [pinned] stories.
ALSO, I want to get back into rp. I might post some… basically try out posts for it? I miss having a rp partner!! I want someone who’ll deal w my self-indulgent ideas and antics.

Uhm, yeah been a while. I’m back in classes, so I have less time. I’ve spoken on why WAISTS Ch3 is taking so long (I never made a timeline or true plot, so now I’m stuck planning ideas lol. plus it’s supposed to be a slow burn, and those are NOT my speciality.) But besides that, thinking of quick doing a birthday fic (my birthday being monday- it’s sunday right now).

YES! FINALLY! This is incorporated in almost all my works, even if Gerald's not even mentioned. I base it a lot on my family, and the mixed and complex feelings and hurt I have with them.
Take "I Hate You For What You Did" for example, being the most obvious, it talks about this exactly. (Selfless promo of my works lol) It is complicated; he was family, he was Shads creator, but he also took from Shad, and he probably experimented, worked, n traumatized Shad too.
I wish more people explored Shadow’s feelings on Gerald.
Because it does seem like Gerald thought of him as family. I don't believe that you can give someone a soul (especially not one that's a copy of someone else's, but however you look at that bit in Battle it's clear that he did want Shadow to grow up to be a good person, and he did genuinely believe Shadow would do the right thing when the Black Arms came back.
On the other hand, Gerald messed with his memories. That in and of itself is a complete violation of Shadow’s personal autonomy and was an attempt to take his choices away from him. Shadow could never bring himself to look past that because to him that is a sign that everything Gerald told him was a complete and utter lie, that he didn't actually care about him as anything other than a tool.
Saying Shadow would be happy if Maria came back to life would be the biggest understatement in the history of the world. If Gerald came back... I sincerely doubt Shadow would be anything but terrified of his creator because what if he tries to do it again?
Because what Gerald actually felt towards Shadow is irrelevant to Shadow himself. All he can think of are the actions Gerald took against him.

yeah so i’m participating in kinktober (in my own,, sorta). there will be roughly 10 fics done!! some will be all three (official) prompts and other days will be a few days/my favs together. I wanted to cut down on work I would have to do, since this month is,, busy for me, i only started 8 days in (LMAO), and i just have never written that quickly before.
My process of writing takes atleast 2 days (that’s if i’m motivated af n plan the story) so this is work!! I’m trying to post all the fics on their (last-) day, but we’ll see.
Okay yeah that’s all just wanted to warn everyone ^^ have fun

i have… mostly bad news?
My laptop keyboard is currently broke. An entire line of letters don’t work, & space and enter keys neither.
now i do prefer to write on my phone but even still, this means i can’t edit my work or set it up for posting. or write on it.
i don’t know when i can get it fixed, i don’t live near many tech shops and therefor it would be an entire day trip just to fix it. So we will have to wait.
I have half a fic written, but that’s all. I haven’t made anymore WAISTS yet or anything.
BUT to conclude, summer is very quickly approaching! This means I will have more time.
Now I will be busy still, i’m likely going to work more hours and i’m volunteering, but i have plenty more time to try and post some. so lets hope i get this fucking thing fixed!
