sonic movie 3 what ifs making me think things

in case you can’t tell what’s happening, I’m imagining a scenario where tom puts his life in danger to protect sonic and upon seeing this, shadow recalls the memory of when Maria did the same for him. Except this time he’s the one in the position of aggressor. Use your imagination for what happens next 😗

HELL. YES.

I really, really hope that we hear Shadow say some 1970’s slang in the third sonic movie. I’d feel a bit broken-hearted if this is abscent.

In all honesty, I just think that it’d be funny to hear him say things like “groovy” if he agrees with someone, or even “you’re so stunned.”

I’m sorry about the person I’ll become after I see the 3rd sonic movie

SONIC AU

So, Maria didn't actually die. She made her own secret base and began to question her grandfather's studies. Although Shadow is powerful, he was too... small and huggable scrawny. She felt for the NEW ultimate [spelled that wrong in the pic] life form, he would need a stronger, bigger, and more scary appearance, which led to the creation of "Zorian".

Don't let the picture fool you, he's a pretty sweet guy.

Amy's not showing up... and that's okay.

For the sake of getting a great third installment with cohesive storytelling and engaging plot, I accept the fact that it's highly unlikely that Amy, Rouge, or anyone else beyond Shadow will show up in Sonic Movie 3.

Believe me, I was SHOOK (and a little bitter) at first when they introduced Shadow before Amy. But after watching that trailer, I can see that they know exactly what they're doing. It makes total sense. With the story that they're trying to tell, Amy would stick out like a pink, sore thumb! This is Shadow's story. It's his turn. This movie already has a lot on his plate as it is. To couple that with Amy's introduction and backstory would be a bit overwhelming. It would do her a great disservice by making her a "third wheel" and I don't want that for her. We're lucky that they were able to pull it off with Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Movie 2 lol.

One of the things I admire most about this franchise is the way that tell each character's story and how connected they are! Everyone's lives were greatly impacted all because a blue little hedgehog was sent through a ring portal to Earth. From the Wachowskis to Robotnik to Tails and Knuckles... even Rachel!

If Amy is going to be anywhere within the Sonic Cinematic Universe, I want her pressence to enhace the story and make sense rather than excessive fan service. I want her story to be just as important,

thoughtful,

powerful,

and necessary

as everyone else's.

It's what she deserves. 🩷🦔

Oh. I definitely have a type.

I love them. I love them with all my soul since childhood.

I love their story.

I love their relationship.

I want them to be happy, even if this is impossible for them now.

And nobody can change my attitude to them.
