The bat monster hid in the corner, there anxiety was through the roof after seeing all those witches during there weekly shopping.

The way those witches looked at them and the mean words the witches whispered as they passed by made Raine stress out and get anxious. So of course all the anxiety made the curse flare up and now here they were hiding in the dark as a giant bat.

They needed an Elixer but....they ran out. Eda said she would grab some while they went shopping today but then Raine got anxious, so they went home early, completely forgetting about the golden liquid.

The bat monster quietly whimpered in the dark, breathing heavily as there wings twitched and trembled from the anxiety. They needed there mate, they needed there Owl.

Then right on queue, they heard a loud screech from downstairs. The Bats ears twitched at the loud noise, the owl sure knew how to make a entrance. They heard the Owl coming up the stairs, the floor boards creaked loudly at the extra weight until the beast arrived in the dark room with a giant demon eagle in there mouth.

The beast dropped the demon eagle onto the ground with a thud. The beast grinned proudly but the grin soon faded when the owl saw there mate tremble and whimper. The Owl demon softly cooed in worry as they nuzzled into the bat, licking there mates fur as they tried in there own way to comfort them and calm them. The bat started to purr from the affection, making soft squeaks at the Owls gentle actions.

The beast chirped and lead the bat to there nest. The nest was just big enough for the two, the owl demon made sure of it. The Owl flopped on the nest and stretched as they yawned, Before quickly making room for there mate. The bat quickly nuzzled into the Owl, the sticks in the nest oddly relaxing the bat as the beast started to groom there partner. A loud purr echoed through the room as the bats nerves finally started to disappear giving into the calmness. The two soon fell asleep on each other's warmth.

Time passed and the Owl Beast awoke to the bat starting to panic, the owl quickly noticed the panic as there form was changing. The green witch was taking control again.

The beast desperately wanted to say comforting words to there lover, desperately wanting to sooth the panic in there mates eyes. But all that came was pathetic hoots and coos as the bat cried out from the de-transformation, all the Owl could do was hold the Bat close as there screeches of pain become soft witchy groans.

The Owl beast looked at the witch before them. There hair was a mess but there green hair reminded them of there Bat. A soft whimper escaped from the Owls throat at the sight. The beast couldn't attack this witch, there the only way for them to see there bat.

With a sigh, the owl beast laid down next to the witch waiting for there host to take over the body once more. The owl could already feel the grey haired witch try and take control of the body, so the beast just waited as they felt there feathers deteriorate.

"Eda?" Raine groaned as they rubbed there head, pulling out twigs and leaves from there hair.

Eda rubbed her eyes as she coughed up feathers and bones before replying, "yeah Rainstorm?"

"Next time we need supplies, let's just go to the night market...Less people there..." Raine murmured with a soft smile.

Eda chuckled and nodded, gently wiping some dirt off of Raines face.

"Let's go take a shower...I feel like I rolled in mud for 3 hours" Eda said as she stood up to crack her back, helping Raine up from the nest.

"Maybe you did!" Raine laughed as Eda blew a raspberry.
