Yoongi is up far earlier than he prefers on this Saturday morning, rays of golden sunlight filtering into the bedroom and painting the room (and you) in a soft wash of pink and gold. He gives himself half a second to admire how it makes your skin glow before rolling out of bed.

He needs coffee and food before he can think about waking you up. You barely shift, only slightly where he can see the slope of your nose peeking from the covers. You’ve always been a deep sleeper- he can vividly recall how many times he’s had the washer and dryer going, he’s vacuumed, he’s been on the phone and you had slept through all of it.
