My first zine ever!

Last month I finally pushed myself to make a zine (which I've wanted to make one on and off for years)! It's a simple 16 page mini zine (master copy is two 8 page zine's that are made from A4 paper combined) introducing and briefly explaining the range decora fashion has outside of it's rainbow stereotype.

It's definitely far from perfect as I made many mistakes, but, it came out much better than expected. I'll also share the zine scans and pics of printed copies when I get around to doing all of that :P for now here's what the master copy looks like.

also I no matter how hard I try I can't get the page order correct above, so I'll list the proper order below:

Introduction, monochromatic decora, dark decora, pastel decora, decololita and other combo styles, oshi decora and conclusion.

I made half of these late last year and the rest a few weeks ago :D I think my personal fave is the yellow necklace :P

Random kandi singles I've made on and off threw the last 6 months

Pronoun kandi P1

Since around March I have been on and off making kandi bracelets with pronouns on them. In total I've made over 100 bracelets :D more pics plus reason for undertaking this project under cut :P

So I started this project mostly to distract myself from things that were stressing me out big time and, because I'd like to sell my art and crafts at a con or some kind of event in future :3 the goal was to make at least one set of pronoun kandi, a set being 8 bracelets in pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and multi-colour :-D I did this to avoid assigning a colour to a pronoun and increase options for when I do finally sell these.

of course this project was very time consuming (even when not accounting for the breaks I took to both rest and get more beads), especially since at first I wanted all the kandi sets to match, but ended up only having a three of the set's matching (as seen in the second pic).

Than of course I had to narrow down how many pronouns I'd make into kandi as I didn't want to spend a life time on this project :P. That wasn't super easy but I manged to narrow my options down to 9 sets of neo pronouns and, the other 3 sets of course being They, She and He (but made twice as many of those as I'd assume they'd sell more) so hopefully I made a decent range of bracelets.

I also briefly consider making multi-pronoun set (e.g. They/He) but considering the importance of pronoun order to many (e.g a She/They person may not want a They/She bracelet because of the pronoun order) as well as how many combos I could make even with the 11 pronouns I restricted myself to, I'm sure can understand why I dropped this idea real fast.

Pronoun kandi P2

More kandi, and me talking about how I messed up on of the sets bellow :-D (for context and more pronoun's I made see part 1 of this 2 part post of mind, it's two posts because I knew I'd share a lot of pics and being super wordy :P)

Here are the rest of the pronoun kandi's I made \o/ unfortunately I messed up one of the sets and didn't notice until I went and took these pictures...

yep I made extra ze/zim bracelets instead of making ze/zir bracelets (-_-J) I believe this is most likey due to making such similar sets back to back and kinda just zooning out, while I was either watching youtube or listening to music... I'll make more ze/zir kandi, eventually, when I am not exhausted at the mire idea of making more pronoun kandi lol

for now I hope you all like the kandi I did make :P

✧∘*Phoenix and Miles themed kandi *∘✧

Yesterday I got some red kandi beads and of course this meant I had to make a Miles Edgeworth themed kandi bracelet :D. Of course yesterday was July 1st as well (at least for me cuz time zones) which is the start of Narumitsu week, so of course I had to make a Phoenix kandi bracelet as well (plus Phoenix is a pretty cool dude imo) and, inject some narumitsu/wrightworth by putting some totally subtle heart beads of contrasting colour into both bracelets X3

Also a few more details about the kandi I made: Miles had black and white beads to represent both his outfit colours and my lack of red kandi beads :'), Pheonix has smiley faces because of what Mia Fey Always told him and, Blue flowers because they look kinda like his lawyer badge in shape (at least to me, plus they're cute beads).

Also I don't plan on doing any fanart of the narumitsu prompts as I don't want to push my left wrist too much and maker sure it's healed this time (^▽^J)

Late last month I went to an art and crafts group hangout session with a few of my friends and decided to make a zine because I just felt like making one XD

This is my 3rd zine but I'll probably never post my 2nd zine cuz it's a perzine and, it's very sad and angry, so I don't feel like sharing it, you can find my first zine here btw (warning it's one of my first Tumblr posts and as a result quality is very bad sorry).

I had a lot of fun making this zine, even though I got the idea the night before I made it it came together super well all things considered and I love the scrapbook look and feel it has! I have a lot of zine ideas, some are definitely more distant future projects as they're pretty ambitious ideas, but others not so much and will hopefully be done before next year ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

Some kandi I made over the past month or so. I finally made more Ze/Zir Kandi bracelets (context behind pronoun Kandi here (part 1) and here (part 2)) as well as a random necklace and Kandi bracelet XD.

A few days ago I made these, a friend of mine taught a clay class and I learnt to make the waffles in it! But the ice cream bowl and candy wrapper I just made for fun that day cuz I had time :P
