I drew my ghost at the aquarium I visited last week. By hand. On my phone between college classes. Which is why it sucks. The little guy doesn't have a name, suggestions?
I went through the final cutscene of the final shape with my warlock's helmet on, and most of my friends either don't have the expansion or have already finished it lol 🥲

Very, very nervous. Saw somewhere it was rumored that more then 100 people are getting let go, Bungie's website has a ton of hiring spots open for senior and lead positions FOR destiny. Can only pray that they get a new skilled team to work on final shape, with minimal crunch time.
I will actually cry if final shape's story is just as badly executed as lightfall's was. But i still have hope that bungie will be able to release an amazing story with the extra four months worth of work they're giving themselves. We got witch queen, after all, and that dlc was also delayed.
Legitimate news. The Final Shape is delayed until June 2024. But hey, the workers aren't going to be forced onto crunch time, they won't have to be overworked, and this is overall a good thing. They can release a stable game dlc rather than forcing out something which isn't ready, and neither are they.

I chose 'only appears in missions' but this is a HARD question.
I write Vienna with the intention of her being the young wolf, so to throw her actually into the canon destiny lore becomes a whole thing.
Im not going to go into how i would write destiny in say, a book or a fic, because that's a much longer rant that i don't think anyone wants to hear right now LOL
But if I had to throw her into a position without being the YW, it's borderline between being a vendor or only appearing in missions.
She's highly involved with researching the light/ghosts, so i can see her being a vendor for ghost shells/shaders, but would add something new to the destiny marketplace in the form of ghost upgrades.
BUT, I can also see her on missions helping out, bantering over coms with characters like Ikora, Osiris, and Cayde, even though she would be mostly cooped up in the tower without the YW title. So it's a hard choice!! ☆

HOLY FUCK THAT WAS HARD!!!! But damn, I am super proud of this, y'all have no idea. :) This was a challenge of a piece, but I'm so beyond happy I made it anyway!
Bungie gave me the greatest moment since I first heard Misraaks's voice, and damn I just HAD to commemorate it with a pixel piece.

Newest vidoc reveled each card part of the new arsenal has a person who has influenced cayde on it!
We know Ikora (king of diamonds), Zavala (king of hearts), Maya Sundaresh/Lakshmi (queen of hearts), and possibly Elsie (king of clubs).
What is confusing, is that the top row completely eludes me. At first, I thought Shiro might have been represented by the queen of spades, indicated by the iron lord wolves that accompany the card, but im not quite sure the exo looks enough like Shiro.
My first thoughts about the warlock, hunter, and titan, was just significant experiences with each class as his time as vanguard. But given who these other cards are about? Im not so sure about that theory, they all seem to be relating closely to who Cayde is.
Elsie sort of makes sense, if that's actually her, given that the time loop she's stuck in starts EVERY TIME with Cayde becoming vanguard. But honestly, that's really all that comes to mind.
One thing that stands out to me, is there is one, significant person missing. Where is Andal?? Unless he is represented by the hunter with the helmet, I am thoroughly shocked, and honestly a little disappointed. With how big a role Andal plays in Cayde's story, I would have expected him to make an appearance.
Id love to hear your thoughts and theories on these cards and what they represent further, so please feel free to elaborate!

Due to PlayStation leaks, I will be staying off tumblr and all social medias until I am done with final shape. If you do not want to get spoiled, I highly encourage all of you to do the same.

Hey, look at that! I was able to get it done before final shape! WOOHOOOO!! The gun has a bit of a rainbow shine to it ( like it has when you preview the weapon in game ) but unfortunately, it doesn't show up in pictures. So take a look at the WIP video here!
This took an unspeakable amount of sanding, painting, and trying to get the trigger to work, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think it's one of the better aces I've seen, and I'm super proud of myself. ＼(´ ∇`)ノ

Final Shape Vienna
I've finally been able to finish my design for Via during the final shape, I am super proud of it, and excited that I finally get to share it! No text ver. and my thoughts about TFS dlc below the cut :)
It's been a bit hard to draw lately, my hands have been hurting and making it quite difficult, which is partly why this design took so long to get out. Taking a break did not prove helpful, I just hope I can find something that does help. Apologies for my openness... Anyway! So... Final shape... It was... a wonderful experience, I'm happy that bungie had knocked it out of the park in every aspect. I adored being able to see the characters I love; I loved getting to fight alongside my fireteam, getting to be around Crow, Zavala, Ikora... getting to see Cayde again. God that broke me. It made me so, so happy, but damn if it didn't make my heart bleed. Bungie really knows how to give me a real gut punch.
I haven't decided what I want to do with Vienna, part of me was so convinced that the best course of action was to end her story after final shape, let her rest, let her be with Cayde. But now I'm not so sure... I don't know how to rewrite the ending without invalidating Cadye's sacrifice. I try to write Via as close as I can to canon, keeping true to the original story while still writing her in the way I want to, and getting to tell her story right. So, thank you bungie. Thank you for writing a wonderful, thought-provoking story, an in-depth world. Despite all the bumps and hiccups along the way Destiny means a great to me, I love being able to write Vienna, to get lost in the universe, it's brought me a lot of comfort and happiness that I wouldn't have had elsewise. The opportunity to get to spend it with my fireteam, my friends is invaluable, they mean the world to me more than anything. I'm excited to see where the story goes from here, and I will continue to create more artwork and writings for it, at a quicker pace hopefully! Thanks for reading my rants if you got this far, and I'll see you starside. 💫
