If no one’s seen the new on Twitter, Victor Reyes, one of the devs at Bungie, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on May 24th and is currently in the hospital.
The other devs have said that while Bungie’s very supportive and the company’s medical insurance is great, there’s only so much it will cover on what will be a long road to recovery.
As a result, Dmg started a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to help cover any of Victor’s medical bills and transportation expenses for Victor’s family.
If you can spare a few bucks, feel free to donate. If that’s outside your financial means, a reblog is always appreciated.

Very, very nervous. Saw somewhere it was rumored that more then 100 people are getting let go, Bungie's website has a ton of hiring spots open for senior and lead positions FOR destiny. Can only pray that they get a new skilled team to work on final shape, with minimal crunch time.
I will actually cry if final shape's story is just as badly executed as lightfall's was. But i still have hope that bungie will be able to release an amazing story with the extra four months worth of work they're giving themselves. We got witch queen, after all, and that dlc was also delayed.
Legitimate news. The Final Shape is delayed until June 2024. But hey, the workers aren't going to be forced onto crunch time, they won't have to be overworked, and this is overall a good thing. They can release a stable game dlc rather than forcing out something which isn't ready, and neither are they.

To does currently discouraged from making fan content-either fanfics or fanart-by Bungie's recent actions-don't be. Just because you're a Destiny fan does not mean you support Bungie and them fucking over people. Because you know what, more than anything, when you make your fanart or fanfic, it shows you care more about Destiny than Bungie (or at least the Bungie higher ups) do.
