St. Paul did NOT have to do me like that in today's readings; As a people-pleaser I feel refreshingly called out - "Am I now currying favor with human beings or God?"

In all seriousness, I like the readings from today and how they interact. It's funny because the First Reading refers to how Jesus taught us the Gospel (or as Jeff Cavins called it, the Kerygma), but then the Psalm is a broad overview of the whole situation, and then the Gospel is a teaching of how to live the Gospel

All jokes aside, I'm not sure I have much of a clue why St. Paul wrote what he did, especially to the Galatians
But they're all very beautiful writings, and I thought it was nice to see Jonah's parallel mentioned in the Gospel today. Not to get me wrong, they all have distinct connections to praising the Lord, so they're not entirely indecipherable
