Doctor X : Surgeon Daimon Michiko

So, I started to watch this show a couple of days ago and am already at Season Two Episode Four (or Six? Idr). Since I miss the old cast (Season Two is too political and dramatic and dirty), I am going to write a slight… rant?

Favourite Ships

Michiko Daimon x Hideki Kaji

One of my first favourites because well, they are so funny and entertaining. At first, I dislike Hideki for hating on Michiko too much. But after Michiko gave the free pass to Hideki (I think either she was playing games with him, or she actually saw the real potential in him, I don’t really know) during her very risky surgery, and after their brief and civil interaction (followed by Morimoto’s confusion, poor him 😜😂😅), I started to really like them. And when Michiko was actually supposed to do the surgery towards Professor Torii and Bujusima was dirty and STUPID to exploit her, Hideki was the one who reconfirmed (did he?) her situation and was the first one who went and help her, after he knew the truth.

To me, even though he didn’t want to admit it, Michiko did impact and change his life, even if it was a little bit. And deep down, he does care for her, in some degree. And Michiko, although a very masked person, must have thought that Hideki was at least and interesting person to give him a free opportunity like that. And if she did that because she saw a potential in him, that he is more than just a person wanting money, then well… they suit each other well!

Just  I have no idea who tops or bottoms, since both of them are power tops XD 😳😏😂😜 Since they both have a very dominant personality. But I hear that those trait is not good in a relationship, since both would have overpowering opinions and decision making skills. 

Michiko Daimon x Jonouchi Hiromi

I have not really paid attention to this ship that much until I found out that this was the only popular ship in the fandom (which is not really that popular 😅😤🙄). I really adore their interactions though, and I like the fact that Jonouchi was among (or the first) person to actually believe that Michiko was more than just a part timer. Girl power, amirite? 😏😙

I also liked the fact that both of them interact really well in the show, and Michiko liked her well enough to let her into her personal life (their scene where they played the game was amazing, and Akira playing with Mai is a huge sign that Michiko, to some degree, let Jonouichi into her life). And Michiko can be herself aroung Jonouchi, like her hugging the anestheologist (THAT was cute) and her butting into her and her ex-husband’s fight.

I never saw this picture before, but goddamn it is climatic.

Michiko Daimon x Shinobu Kondo

Okay, so I just saw this dude for like four episodes but he is kinda handsome/cute. I like the fact that he reserves a slight smile/smirk whenever he sees Michiko, as opposed to the hateful glares the other doctors give her (some are sexist, I may add). Deep down, I think he thinks she is cool and better than the other doctors that the other people ‘worship’ *retches* in the hospital.

I just wish he wasn’t using Michiko just for his promotion, because frick dirty and corrupted hospital hiaerchy. I wish he and Michiko could grow to be close friends and learn and grow from each other, and he could finally break free from being Ichida Mabuchi’s underdog (and btw, frick that bitch for treating Michiko like crap after peforming complicated surgery her leg, she deserves to have that leg of hers amputated). Even if he doesn’t end up with Michiko (because she deserves to with Hideki *coughs*), I hope they at least become friends. And that he becomes an outstanding surgeon, just like Michiko (can he surpass her, though? 🤔)

High tension, much? 😏

Hideki Kaji x Mamoru Hara

Okay, I have no idea why I ship them except for the fact that Hideki has “hot smug, arrogant boy” vibes while Mamoru is just so adorable and REALLY cute. But, I also know that both of them are friends (colleagues, or close friends, to a degree) and that Mamoru is probably the only one who can keep Hideki in line (when Mamoru had to stop Hideki from attacking Michiko and gave an excuse that the anaestheologist had already sedated the patient 😂😂😂) (Season One Episode Four btw). I also think that Mamoru could change Hideki to be better, such as being less of an asshole who all he wants is money and girls and makes him value the real stuff, such as his career and friends.

I grew to really like Mamoru, like his gullible but cute face, and his shocked and astonished gasps and expression (which would make a good uke 😉😳😙😏). He also seems like a really genuine surgeon who actually just wants to learn, gain experience and just enjoy life, you know?

In conclusion, Mamoru would be the perfect pair for Hideki, as he is pretty calm and cool while Hideki is more opiniated and hot headed.
