My precious deadline of my life
That just happenned this morning....

Y'know, I hate when deadlines sneak up on me.
And by sneak, I mean that I've known this deadline for several months now, but I kept procrastinating and now it's the end of this week and I'm in crunch mode.
I'mma go and fall back into my saving grace for Hell Week: Sleep is for the weak!
I can breath!
I checked the deadline and it says the form will be open from July 5th to July 8th. That gives me three extra days to get my story completed and edited.
I could cry.
I'm still gonna be busting my ass, but now I don't have to cut some of the things I was gonna skip over to get it done faster.
I work tomorrow, I've got family stuff and work on the 6th, and more family stuff on the 7th. If I time everything correctly, and if I can keep myself on track, then I'll have a product I'm happy with by the time the 8th rolls around.
Am I still cutting it close? Insanely so.
Let this be a lesson to future me and everyone who reads this to not put off for tomorrow what can be done today, especially if it has a set deadline.

when I become a boss or whatever I'll want to give incentives for good and timely work like wdym I just get more work if I complete mine before the deadline?? Feels like a punishment?? If I finish my work 2 days before the deadline I should get the 2 days off or something 😭
