Ik it’s still summer but I’ve been getting into the spooky season lately and drawing Alastor being his horrific self brings me joy
Felt like drawing some perruque head bucks yesterday.
As a child I saw a roe buck like this in a local museum and they never quite left my head. There is something uncomfortable and sad (because such distortion almost always leads to their long-drawn out death) yet sophisticated and rebel about them.
The hunter brought his rifle to rest on the edge of the deer blind's window. Two young does stood frozen in the floodlight's beam, framed by tangled oak and kudzu... Wait, was it two, or three? There were three pairs of eyes. But what was... Was he seeing things?

I'm a simple man to please. I see an animal based fantasy setting with great world building, and I draw for it. It doesn't help that I adore deer! Ended up making this guy for @goldenshrikecomic 's Golden Shrike story!
This is Castor - a 'snapwalker' (name pending) and Stonekrovn hybrid. He was raised primarily by his father in the snapwalker herd, but did learn some of his heritage from his mother when they passed the mouth's territory on the way to the gathering.
Once he came of age, he ended up leaving to travel and just. Never came back. Yes he makes the click when he walks. Yes he has small fangs. No, he doesn't talk much / hides his teeth.
