It took me a while but my Dinosaur King OTP (aka ReeZan) comic is finished!

I’m just trying out a new style and making some useful art; this is the cover for my new Dinosaur King fanfic Chains of Love.
Reese: So you see, that's where the trouble began. That smirk. That damned smirk.
I felt like doing some more ReeZan since I started writing Chains of Love and I like making comics!
There's just something about that smirk of his that I think would be very effective against Reese; alongside cake, this could be one of her fewer weaknesses.
Oh, btw, the hands behind the glasses is a reference to the last Dinosaur King episode where Zander actually does the same thing.
So basically, since Dinosaur King very likely takes place in 2007-2008, R!OoTaS takes place in 2010. That means that Reese is just about to experience the beauty of the 2010s. Now don't take this as hate towards any of the mentioned (I do have different opinions of them, but I won't tell you), I just thought it'd be funny. PS: my handwriting is horrible, I know...

I am known for disliking people comparing Dinosaur King to Pokémon, but I can't help myself. Since I got so much into the Rocketshipping I love the thought of Villain!ReeZan AU.
I cannot believe that I've made Zander look so badass! I like to draw him without his sunglasses because his expressions can be seen and whenever I draw those damn glasses it just looks weird.
So, two and a half years ago, Matthew asked if I could draw a fanart for his Double Date fanfic, but back then, I wasn't that sure about drawing Zander. Now that he's rewritten the story, he asked me again and this time I've done it!
I hope I've done the clothes right, I've tried to stick to the descriptions in chapter 2 while still adding some stuff myself. Also, can we appreciate how sweet both blonds like? I'm proud of that!
(I gotta learn how to draw lipstick properly; it went well when I drew Jessie in the previous picture, but I rather avoided it before that like with Ursula or Cretacia.)
Since Dinosaur King Chains of Love Chapter 6 We're No Angels, Reese wears Zander's trench coat because her lab coat got destroyed and he insisted she keeps it.
Next, the change of glasses happens in Chapter 9 (in progress at the point of posting this), so you have a little sneak peek. The bun is a possible new design for future chapters. She cuts her hair for personal reasons. Also, I've finally drawn my love with a bun again!

Everything turned out pretty fine here and I gotta say that I'm thankful to our DK goddess Helga that Reese has a hand fan with this outfit, which made drawing this much easier. Also, I've almost made a continuity mistake because I've accidentally drawn Reese with her old glasses; thankfully I've noticed that. And yes, that's one of the LGBT+ flags in the background, find out for yourself what it means.
Oh, Jeremy, my boy, he's so small, even though he's a little bend over. I must admit that this is my best drawing of Ursula yet; I even nailed the hair! Oh, if 4Kids saw this they'd censor it (*cough*the chest*cough*). Drawing these, I've realized that the pirate outfits are my most favorite from the whole Dinosaur King. Yes, those are LGBT+ flags in the background, deal with it.
I've used Dinosaur King's second Japanese opening as a base for this one. I've tried my best to make them appear as old as they should be in Chains of Love (Laura - 16; Rod - 22), but hey still looking good.
Ed is the most underrated Dinosaur King character; he deserves more love! He's just so adorable and happy during the Caribbean arc. Oh, I screwed Ellie up so much; I still have a problem with chubby figures.

Hey, everyone, Ursula X Ellie (Exshipping) was a thing in Dinosaur King Chains of Love. Chapter 13 Who Am I To Disagree mentions this fact. It is not specified when did this relationship happen, but nobody knew about it.
Ursula wanted to keep this a secret mostly due to Ellie's personality and how soft Ursula can be around her.
The only reason I've made this is the fluff of this ship and to show that it existed at one point...and I want to see Ursula being (legally) shipped with a girl because I'm pretty sure she's a pansexual.

Made this a while ago! Ofu and Oren, the Dinosaur King Kunoichi if you don't know, are so underappreciated. And they would be really adorable as a couple!
Since we can never see them show their hair completely, I thought of drawing them in a modern AU.
