I don't wanna get into the whole god situation, never did never will, because i really feel like that would be choosing between a snake and a toad...But i do feel like for someone who criticizes Ashton and Dorian for their emotional outbursts and not using critical thinking, people who do that are not using so much critical thinking themselves. Because if you do, you will instantly understand where exactly are they coming from. And i for one see, that Ashton and Dorian are willing to understand their friends, they leave room for doubt. Because they are not fighting against gods, even if they dislike them, they are fighting first and foremost for their friends. Just like Orym.
Y'all. We all know that Laudnas and Matrons interactions are gonna be juicy, but i also feel like the Matron is gonna loooove Dorian. Something about that blue boy just pulls gods attention on him. Be it positive or negative....
Imogen, describing each of her friends, undoubtedly proud of them. But her smile and eyes SHINE when she addressed Dorian and Laudna. That's her best friend and girlfriend right here.
After all this time, it's very nice to have another reminder for everyone that Dorian is not unreasonable, he is not driven by the blind rage. He sees gods as people, he wants to BE treated like a person. Dorian is angry at them when they are being selfish and cruel, but he is also kind and understanding when they are not. I think everyone should remember that for the next time.
And for everyone considering the possibility that Dorian is easily swayed by his loved ones opinions, and that he would be on Oryms side in a heartbeat, it was also very interesting to look at the way Orym slowly loses his patience with gods who like to play games too much. Maybe, just maybe he is beginning to understand Dorians point of view.
Well well well i really dislike the implication that Dorian (And Fearne, and Orym) will have to fight Opal all over again in the near future. Cause what do you mean she's in the Hellcatch, sharpening knives, getting ready with the rest of the army. Getting ready for WHAT. Boy, i knew that spider queen is willing to do anything to survive, just...not that.
I'm not sure my poor heart will survive a battle like that all over again.
THANK YOU ROBBIE DAYMOND for clearing the air for the people who are chronically incapable of understanding motivations, and saying that Dorian did NOT choose to sacrifice his friends, that he was not choosing between them, and that he wouldn't agree to it if they wont.
On the more positive note: Xandis! Very funny how they immediately liked Dorian and made introductions, and disliked Braius. Braius does have the vibe of being a squire to someone more flashy... (And he already kind of is) and apparently Dorian is impossible to hate. (Duh)

See? That's how you do it. Inspire people. Plant a seed of hope. Cheer them up when they need it the most, because while everything crumbles around you, the best thing you can do is to try to pick people up from the debris.
Oh Dorian, the man that you are.
You know, I'm glad that Dorian is making actual connections. Besides Orym and Fearne, his time with Bells Hells was really short. Like sure, they liked him well enough, but in no way it's enough time to make a meaningful connection. And now? It's really heartwarming that his friends feel like they could open up to him, knowing that Dorian won't judge them. Hell, even Braius who's been with them for 100 hours feels safe with Dorian. I'm sure it means a lot to him. I'm just happy that awkward, kind of a compulsive liar of a bard became a safe and strong shoulder to lean on. And that he can find the same comfort in return.
