"Good." Taeyong mumbled. "Everything will go just fine if you just do what I say, okay, sweetie?"
Doyoung nodded, pressing his thighs together.
"Okay?"
"Yes, okay." Doyoung answered. "Of course."
Taeyong smiled. Doyoung started squirming. His hand on his dick was definitely faster than earlier, but Taeyong either didn't notice or didn't care.

Doyoung blinked at him. He hadn't meant to stop and stare, especially in this situation, but he couldn't not. He was shocked.
Taeyong avoided eye contact. He took his hands from Doyoung’s chest and tilted away.
“A virgin…” Doyoung followed up. “Seriously?”
Taeyong crossed his arms over his chest. “Are you being mean?” he asked, though he still wasn't looking. They were on Doyoung's couch. They'd been watching a movie, but hadn't gotten very far into it.
Doyoung snapped out of it. He could never, not to Taeyong. “No, baby, of course not. I'm just… surprised. This is why you wanted to wait?”
Taeyong nodded. “I wanted it to be with someone who actually liked me.” He murmured.
The Bucket List (doyoung/taeyong)
Doyoung’s always been a bit depressed, but this last year has really put him through the wringer and he’s been pretty suicidal. So his therapist cuts him a deal. Make a bucket list. A real, actual bucket list, of all the things he wants to experience, and then do everything on that list. If, at the end of the list, he still wants to kill himself, then they’ll go from there. His therapist has a feeling that won’t be the case. Doyoung would beg to differ, but he plays along anyway. And then he meets Taeyong, who finds out about the bucket list and makes it his mission to help Doyoung fall in love with being alive again.

For some reason, the Costco one is making Doyoung the most nervous. He kind of regrets putting it first, but it’s the easiest one to do alone, safely and without feeling like a loser. Besides, it’s familiar. He used to run around the store collecting all the samples he could find when he was younger. The only difference now is that he doesn’t have the excuse of being a cute kid. Now, if someone catches on, he’s just a jerk.

Doyoung’s first friend was named Andrew. They were in first grade—or no, maybe it was second. Doyoung was delighted to have a friend. They did everything together, and Andrew didn’t mind if he stuttered. Andrew liked to read, too, and preferred talking about their favorite books to video games. He didn’t mind that Doyoung was skinny and nerdy and awkward. Doyoung thought maybe things would be better. He had a friend, maybe he could make more. Bleak, for a six-year-old, he realizes now looking back on it, but that’s what it was.
And then one day when he got to school, Andrew didn’t say hi to him. He didn’t even meet his eye. Their teacher called for them to sit down before Doyoung could ask him what was wrong, and it took him until lunch to corner him, underneath the slide on the playground.
“Are you mad at me?” Doyoung asked.

Taeyong invites Doyoung over for the thunderstorm. His mom cooks them dinner while they watch out the windows as the world turns greener and greener, clouds churning thick overhead. Taeyong’s dad and sister are playing chess at the table. Ruby is making the rounds, seeking affection from anyone who has a free hand.
And it’s good. Doyoung’s chest feels warm, for the first time in—maybe forever. He and Taeyong are playing cards, and the house smells like frying garlic.
Maybe Doyoung doesn’t ever have to tell Taeyong everything. Maybe he can just bury it, and move on like that. Maybe this can be enough—a house that feels like home, and Taeyong smiling at him as he lays down a winning hand in a neat fan between them. Doyoung doesn’t even mind that he’s lost every round.
