Love
The wind blew onto her arms from the outside behind her in comfort. The days blurred into nights holding the smell of gas in the air as she sat in a nearby chair without anyway she'd be convinced to move. A boy laid in the hospital bed with a maze of medical equipment attached to his skin and needles in his veins.
How long has it been? A day? A week?
She couldn't recall. Not one bit; all she knew it was an eternity.
She held his hand. His hand was cold compared to hers.
"Sakia," The girl looked up to her ill partner, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, just sleepier than my normal dear." Sakia rubbed her sleep ridden eyes with a plastic smile.
"Please tell me what's wrong."
"Just worried about the possibility of losing you." Sakia noticed her boyfriend moving to the right side of the hospital bed, "Ishii?"
"Please,"He patted the open side, "Come lay down. You've been awake for too long."
Not wanting to worry Ishii farther she got up and laid in the spot, getting covered up by the light blanket. Sakia held Ishii close with a soft smile. Ishii smiles in the embrace, he didn't realize how much her needed this closeness from his time in the hospital recently.
He wasn't alone as Sakia felt same in the embrace. It was only natural for the two. The relationship between them was stronger than any iron, prettier than the prettiest gem. Of course all relationships have struggles, arguments and other dark times.
Unfortunately, they had to deal with a life long illness who was a parasite for Ishii. It will always be there, at least for now. Until the time ever comes they have to stay stronger than many for both ends.
