i know i’ve never posted about her since most of my content is of the canaries, BUT I HAVE A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION WITH MARCILLE
me and her are so alike, same height and everything. and she’s actually my favorite character 😭
the thing i find most relatable about her is the fear of her loved ones dying before her. as the youngest of my family, that’s my biggest fear. i’m scared to be alone, just like her. and i can’t imagine how it feels when she sees her friends, who are at this point probably like a second family to her, die and get fatally injured so many times in front of her.
she’s become a character i’m really attached to and connect with. her reaction to the treasure bugs is similar to how i react to bugs (freaking out basically) and that scene made me feel better about it. and the mandrake episode where she says she doesn’t want to be a burden to her party and that it makes her sad if she thinks she is. her love for books is also a connection i make with her, my collection is pretty big!
in short, MARCILLE SUPREMACY!!!

i just had a random thought about elven royalty in dunmeshi, what if it was like the british royal family where there’s drama over the simplest things
like imagine the queen wears a certain colored dress and everyone’s like “omg it’s a scandal, that color means ──” and everyone’s freaking out, it’s on the news boards, etc.
Who's your least favorite character???
there’s not many characters i dislike to be honest, they’re all lovable in their own ways!
but i’d say my least favorite character is shuro. i just don’t find much about him to be interesting or worth looking into. i find that tade or even benichidori have more fun personalities than him, like everyone in his party has more flavor than him.
minor manga spoilers! but besides him, i hate the winged lion the most. when i read his dialogue in the manga i read it with a weird voice to distract from my anger so i could laugh instead.
