Hi guys.
I've got my nursing diploma in 2018.
I've worked the first 4 years of my career in a clinic. During those years, I've met countless healthcare professionals and amongst them was Rémi. He's the best nurse assistant I've ever had the chance to work with. One of those people who care with all their senses and sensiblity. He listens to hear and understand you not just to answer back, he speaks to explain and calm not to be right, he watches to analyse, assess, remember not to judge, he touches to soothe and ease not with violence. He taught me that empathy and humility can be neverending.
Rémi is the proud dad of 3 kiddos and was working to provide for them while helping others. But he had this dream of being a nurse too one day, and he decided to jump and reach to it. Unfortunately, going back to school is never easy. Life wasn't nice to him during those years and his mental health declined rapidly. He had to take breaks in order to stay alive. And that means missing school.. and having to take another year.. that he has to fully pay.
