You lifted your head and looked at the police man next to you. “A-are you sure I should be the one who goes inside?” The man next to you nodded. “Off course.” He said seriously. “Besides, I’m sure that you are well aware by now as the rest of us are… He’ll only speak to you.”

Been in pain like me?

Fastening your seat belt with a slow click, you turned the keys and sat there silently, listening to the engine of your car turn on, frozen in your seat.

‘How long is this going to go on for?’

Your mind hazed as your breaths came out labored and you tried to get your mind to focus. Shaking your head as you snapped out of your thoughts, you pulled the car gear into reverse and pulled out of your driveway and your personal parking lot, and drove away from your safe home.

You drove the car in silence, bringing it to a stop when the signal up ahead turned red.

Pressing the brake pedal underneath you, you nervously tightened your grip on the steering wheel and took a deep breath, and immediately shuddered when you breathed out and thought again.

‘How long is this going to go on for?’

Bought a hundred dollar bottle
