Fablehaven Head canons
Yes, it’s short. Literally two head canons. But I’m running out!
-Warrenessa’s first kid would be a boy (Idk why, but I always thought he’d be called Jack, too)
-If Brackendra ever had a kid, it’d be a girl
Brackendra Head canons
-Imagine Kendra being sick one day, and Bracken just popping over to say hi and managing to burn hot chocolate for her, while Kendra becomes a fluffball, cinnamon roll, koala mixture. (btw, don’t hold a koala. They have sharp claws.)
-Bracken meeting Verl and dying from social awkwardness.
-One of Kendra’s LONG debates with Bracken about letting her paint his nails. She normally wins.
-Another long debate about swimming in the naiad lake. Kendra still isn’t brave enough, and she’s stubborn enough to win every single time.
-Kendra trying to dye Bracken’s hair pink as a joke, but his hair doesn’t hold colour and the dye washes straight off onto her hands, which are stained for ages.
-Kendra trying to dance with Bracken, who makes it look effortless, but ends up nearly killing herself trying.

Warrenessa Head canons
-Vanessa sometimes lets Warren braid her hair
-I said this in an earlier post, but they have a little boy named Jack
-Warren tries to become Vanessa’s personal bodyguard and protector, but after the third time in a row he hurt himself stupidly, she told him t stop- he didn’t
-Vanessa constantly has to patch up all of Warren’s injuries
-Warren accidentally crashed Vanessa’s car trying to drive stupidly fast like her. Needless to say, Vanessa was not happy
Fablehaven Characters with Pets

-Tanu with a ferret
-Seth with an Irish Setter
-Vanessa with a Parrot, and a shared Corgi with Warren
-Warren with either a picture of himself, or a shared Corgi with Vanessa
-Kendra with a Cat
-Dale with a Dog- Irish Wolfhound maybe?
-Bracken with a Cat, and maybe a Horse, too. (I just have this image of a stray horse coming up and adopting him.)
-Newel and Doren with a goat, because why not :)
Fablehaven Characters favourite Hobbies
-Kendra loves reading, but what if she was a songwriter, too?
-Seth plays with the Satyrs all the time, but imagine if he had a butterfly collection (real ones, not fairies lol)
-Bracken just loving swimming and track
-Vanessa babysitting her cousin’s kids on weekends would be amazing- family entertainment for the Sorenson's
-Warren loves to read 101 ways to not get injured a million times. (The book’s advice doesn’t work on him though)
-Dale patting Viola in his spare time with his dog (Head canon that Dale had a large dog like a wolfhound that goes everywhere him)
Fablehaven Characters in a Hardware Store
Yes, I said ‘Hardware store.’ But this fandom is from all over the world, and I have no idea what on earth people have in other countries.
-Seth would go straight to the power tools and beg whoever is with him to get him one.
-Kendra would be bored as anything- she’s only there because she has to be, or she’s getting plants for the garden.
-Vanessa would literally get duct tape, and any other necessary and dangerous item in the store, paying up a huge amount of money.
-Scratch that, Seth would help Vanessa, and they’d split all the helpful emergency-kit style supplies, too.
-Grandma loves looking at the livestock section (as in food and stuff) still remembering chicken days. Sometimes she secretly eats a little chicken food, too. You can’t be a chicken for nearly a year and not pick up some habits, after all.
-Grandpa would get the stuff he needs, then scram. In and out operation.
-Dale loves the wood section- selecting the ‘right’ timber can take hours with him, but at least he’s good with it. To date, only two things he has made have collapsed, although that might be the Satyr’s fault, and he may or may not leave all the supplies to Brownies, who actually make the product. (He’s just the supplier.)
-Warren would totally claim those little mini kid trollies, and wheel it all around the place, not caring how stupid he looks.
Fablehaven Characters’ Favourite Animals
Hellooooo! Yes, I am obsessed with animals and Fablehaven in equal parts. Hope you like this one!
-Grandma Sorenson is in a love/hate relationship with chickens
-Dale loves Pica, Capybara, and Jerboa equally. He’s just a rodent person
-Bracken obviously adores horses
-So does Kendra, but she prefers cats
-Vanessa is a Corgi person. I will not accept anything else :)
-Warren’s favourite animal is either a Corgi, because anything Vanessa likes he automatically likes too, or himself. He’s leaning towards himself, though...
Fablehaven Characters as Disney Movies
Seriously, people! Please give me some ideas to write about- I’m running out lol!
-Just Bracken. As Bambi.
-Kendra as Lilo and Stitch
-Seth as Bolt maybe?
-Sphinx as the Lion King
-Grandma Sorenson as The Aristocats
-Vanessa would be Mulan
-Warren is totally Aladdin
-Finally, Dale as Lady and The Tramp
If anyone has any other ideas/disagrees about this list feel free to say so! I had such a hard time choosing...
Fablehaven Characters at a Party
-Kendra would dance, and eat food, like a normal person
-Set would literally kill the food, and the dance floor would be worn out by his shoes
-Dale wouldn’t go
-Vanessa would be the life and soul of the party. Good or bad, it’s hard to tell
-Warren would be dancing all night to the Chicken dance
-Grandma calling out tips over his shoulder- ‘More wing flap, dear’ ‘A Chicken, not a Penguin, Warren’ and so on
-Grandpa would be the sensible one, and totally not ever partake in any of ‘these ridiculous shenanigans’
Fablehaven Head Canons
-Bracken is the youngest, and Mizelle is the second oldest.
-Marla and Scott were crazy invested in the magical world after discovering it. As in, CRAZY, crazy. You’re going to Wyrmroost? Have fun! Dragons? Cool. Demons? Awesome! Both our children are going on a mission with a high chance of death? I’ll pack doggy bags (complete with sandwiches and pop tops!)
-Unicorns age like humans until about 21, when they get their third horn, and even then only look about 15, slowly aging both physically and mentally, so by the time Bracken meets Kendra he is literally 17-ish in everything but official age.
-Kendra ends up doing an online University/college degree, and both the Sorenson's are home-schooled. Since, you know, Kendra is technically legally dead and all that...
Fablehaven Vanessa Headcanons
-Nobody really trusted Vanessa fully for quite a while after Zzyzx, but after a few months, she eventually won them over again
-After they save the day in Dragonwatch (because it’s a book- we all know it’s going to be a happy ending) Brandon Mull will almost certainly heal Vanessa- if want him to or not
-Absolutely nothing in the entire world could ever wake her up if she’s asleep
-Warren once tried everything to wake her up early on Christmas- air horn in the face, tickling, even jumping up and down on her legs. She didn’t even twitch
-Vanessa and Kendra leave Umite messages all over the house. Once, they went around in black leather pretending to graffiti all over the house, trying and failing to look sketchy because they kept laughing too hard
