It’s funny, because even though when I wrote that it was true, when I went to your AO3 page to look for my very favorite comfort fics (though comfort is not precisely the word for some of my favorites; maybe more like go-to hurt/comfort fics), I had this surge of hunger and excitement for the newer ones, after all. So, now I’m just about to start How To Keep A Promise to Hal Jordan for the first time! It was so nice to want something again. Something new, I mean.

How many hours are you willing to sit recording? For length intersecting with comfort, I’d second How Batman Made the Housemade Cry, which is also nice in case you don’t feel 100% comfy reading smut aloud (I don’t have a problem with it in podfics, but I know it’s fraught for some people).

My recent podfic success has gone to my head, and I want to try recording another story. So: what should it be? Is there a story of mine you would particularly like read aloud to you? And if your choice is a longer story, maybe select a single chapter?? I’m open to suggestions.
