I have one long favourites playlist that can be used to track my obsessions and interests and moods. I started it in 2020 and can pinpoint specific events, like holidays or periods of depression. It’s about 600 songs long now, and I tend to loop sections for a few weeks at a time. I also have the order memorised and occasionally go back to all time favourite songs
there are sections I cannot listen to without feeling awful and depressed, sections that remind me of my time in Greece, Croatia, Australia and visiting home, and sections that remind me of the party(s) that I went to where I got some fun song recs. it’s really fun to look back on, actually <3
It feels so special when someone says, 'This song reminds me of you!'. It is the most beautiful thing, someone thought of you, someone was missing you while listening to their favourite song, you were there and you made them smile! Isn't that just so beautiful?
anyone else have a song that they like SO MUCH that they can't listen to it unless they're prepared for the amount of drugs they managed to cram into one song
