In reading Erica Kennedy's Feminista, I found this passage to be a hilariously interesting take on marriage:
"And now that the marriage had become a political issue, with conservatives embracing it as theirs alone, it seemed so uncool, so Elisabeth Hassel-bitch. At the same time, oddly, the media's obsession with celebrity weddings (and subsequently quickie divorces) made marriage seem overly trendy, like a soon-to-be-out-of-date fad you'd one day be embarrassed you'd fallen for."

Those are the translated lyrics of the Latin feminist hymn originated in Chile.
The lyrics have been criticized by anti-feminists (specially in mexico) and so many women started tweeting about their experience with sexual assault (where they were and what they were wearing) accompanied by the lyrics and DataPopMX just released some statistics based on 2,832 tweets:
In 68% of the sexual assaults occurred between 4 and 6 years old, they wore pajamas and were in family home.
In 26% of the sexual assaults occurred between 4 and 6 years old, they wore children's clothes and were in family home.
In 87% of the sexual assaults occurred between 9 and 11 years old, they wore their school uniform and were in family home.
In 59% of the sexual assaults occurred between 14 and 16 years old, they wore shorts and were on the street.
In 76% of sexual assaults occurred between 19 and 21 years old, they wore jeans and were at a friend's place.
In 8% of sexual assaults occurred between 19 and 21 years old, they wore skirts and were in public transport.
Of the 2,832 tweets in total 31% (877) occurred between 4 and 6 years old.

Mexico was painted purple by feminists today 🥰
Today, the feminist movement took the streets of mexico, with women marching for their rights and against the epidemic of feminicides that is taking place in the country 💕💓😭
When the march began to be organized in social networks, people were "worried" and critizised the lack of empathy (from feminists) with the women (specifically) who'd have to clean the streets after the marching - the cleaning ladies showed up to show their support tho 💖♀️
This was today and I'm filled with pride, I wasn't able to participate and it breaks my heart. However tomorrow is the mexican feminist strike - just like Icelandic women did in 1975 - tomorrow, Mexican feminist groups have called for a full on strike: no women in schools, work places or even on the streets. Women won't buy or sell anything tomorrow, or actively participate in the mexican society in any way, including social media. No internet tomorrow for us. So I wont see ya until the tenth. ✊✊✊

Amanda tiene 16 años, fue violada por su padre en reiteradas ocaciones, quedo embarazada, intento remedios caseros para el aborto, no funcionaron, antes de su cumpleaños 17 se suicido.

Michelle tiene 25 años, salio embarazada en una relacion fisicamente violenta, su hijo tiene 4 años, intento abortar clandestinamente pero no funciono, su hijo esta vegetal.

Stefany tiene 10 años, su madre la prostituye desde los 6, como aun no ha mestruado piensan que no quedara embarazada, se equivocan, su madre intento un aborto casero, murio intoxicada.

Vos no sos provida, a vos no te importa ninguna vida, no te importa la vida de la mujer, y no te importa la vida del feto despues de que nace.
Vos sos pro-feto.
No te importa nada solo te importa que las mujeres no tengan control sobre sus cuerpos.
Todas estas historias son reales, unas me las ha contado mi madre, otras por la tele, y las que mas he han calado las he visto en carne propia.
Si algun dia tenes que abortar, espero sea seguro, legal y gratuito.
