Feral Orion Pax - Tumblr Posts
Could we get some commentary on the feral Orion Pax au?
Absolutely.
Feral Orion Pax
Feral Orion Pax has a very limited canon for me. I mean, there are some things that remain the same regardless when I write him, but his timeline is everywhere for me. I will make anything happen with him and there are like three au's within the au. However I will say the feral Orion vibes tend to hit whenever I feel like leaving the bots in various states of shocked horror. A savage little critter doing savage critter things is simply amusing to me.
Tidbit about feral Orion. He's is not in fact a fool. He is ridiculously cunning, but before he learned to settle in civilization, he was very much overwhelmed by everything. However when in a place where he wasn't bombarded with information and potential threats, his intelligence showed itself. There is a reason he remained within the Archives for so long. They were quiet, safe, and controlled. The perfect environment for Orion to absorb the necessary data to begin integrating into society.
So while society saw him as the lovely Archivist Pax, Alpha Trion's personal student, the other archivists knew him as he really was. Aka: Orion Pax was a menace to society only barely kept controlled by the threat of his political situation and Alpha Trion's short leash. More than a few lunches have gone missing and whenever an animal has gotten into the archives, it is always Orion who drops to all fours and climbs wherever the critter to hiding to grab it.
I just finished reading “Remnants of the Wild” and I simply love the Feral Orion au (and your content overall). So, what would happen after he gives up the power of the matrix to put unicron to sleep and reverts back to Orion? What if instead of going to the nemesis with Megs, the team manages to lure him back to the base? I bet he would be really unhinged
OH my goodness. I love this thought so much.
If Optimus were to revert back into being a wild Cybertronian I have no doubt in my mind that it would be complete and total chaos, especially with his more civilized frame. It took Alpha Trion nearly a vorn, a whole vorn, just to make Orion somewhat civilized. The team would stand no chance of taming him since they would have him for what, like a week or two? Maybe a month at most before they could get his memories back?
It would be a disaster.

Feral Orion Returns
The very first thing that would happen after the memoryless Orion wakes up should be obvious. Of course he would attack the mech pointing a blaster at his helm.
Megatron would be far too startled by the sudden feral behavior to do much of anything except swing wildly as Orion runs circles around him, biting, clawing, and doing his best to rip Megatron to pieces. By the time the team arrive to pick up their Prime, Megatron is already hightailing it through a ground bridge and Orion is prowling around scared out of his wits and highly aggressive.
The team would likely have been the next victims of Orion's fear induced aggressiveness if he didn't recognize his own spark signature all over them. He would be less hostile after feeling their familiarity but would still be on edge and refuse to approach for quite some time until energon was brought into the mix.
Orion has never been a fool, even when he was wild. He would understand some of what the team were trying to accomplish by leading him along with energon, even if their sounds mean nothing to him. But not understanding what is going on and being stuck in a frame most definitively not the one he remembers being his, Orion would go with the team after no small amount of coaxing.
They would likely have to push him through the ground bridge as generally giant glowy things in the wild tend to mean danger.
From this point onwards it would be complete and utter chaos as no bot, not even Ratchet knows how to handle a completely wild Orion Pax.
Orion's mentality
Orion would spend at least the first three days just adjusting to the team and the children.
Then once he is comfortable and comes to the conclusion that they have energon and don't intend to hurt him, he would become rather social and curious.
Bumblebee would be subject to rather unusual pampering as to Orion he is barely bigger than a sparkling.
Orion would constantly keep Bumblebee by his side and drag him back by his neck guard whenever he inevitably attempts to wander off.
He would not understand his spontaneously adopted sparkling's desire to consume his energon in such a weird and pointless way.
Why take small sips when chugging the energon is more efficient and leaves nothing behind for scavengers to steal?
Bumblebee's odd desire to mess around with the glow screen and the small not-mech-not-mechanimal creatures would baffle him, but he would allow it so long as he remains nearby.
Sparklings must be watched in order to keep them safe from predators, even if the sparkling in question is not really a sparkling anymore.
Ratchet would be a bit of an enigma for Orion as the seeming leader of the pack would allow himself to get yelled at one moment but demand respect the next.
It only threw him off more when Ratchet's first response to seeing him is to treat him like a sparkling (by his wild standards).
The medic would constantly check on him, bring him energon, teach him things as best as he could, and use his own EM field to sooth him when he started to feel upset.
Orion is not quite sure how to categorize Ratchet on the pecking order of his new pack but he tends to treat the medic with respect and does not growl or otherwise make a scene around him.
As for Arcee and Bulkhead, Orion finds them just as strange due to their constant proximity to the not-mech-not-mechanimal creatures.
He firmly believes there is something wrong with them because of how fondly they treat the odd squishy looking creatures.
No reasonable mech (in his own opinion) would ever take on such useless, obviously prey animal like creatures without there being any purpose.
He has yet to see any purpose behind their choice to take care of the not-mech-not-mechanimal things and so treats Bulkhead and Arcee as equals, if a little lower on the pecking order than him,.
This leads him to be completely alright with growling, ignoring them, and asserting his dominance through flared plating and bared fangs when necessary.
He would also find the dynamic between the pack which he found himself integrated into to be incredibly off-putting.
They don't communicate with EM fields and keep them tucked away, much to Orion's confusion and irritation.
Their body language is filled with unnecessary movement and confusing to a simple and straightforward mech like Orion who can't figure out what they are trying to say no matter how closely he watches.
Orion's Habits
Not really understanding what is going on Orion would resolve to do whatever he feels like as there is no hunting and nothing to do besides keep an optic on the sparkling he adopted.
This would lead him to harass the human children as he tries to figure out what they are.
That would end quickly the moment Arcee and Bulkhead get involved.
He would also prowl around base, searching for hiding spaces and eventually figuring out how to get into the rafters of the base, much to the combined fear of everyone present when they look up and see a huge set of piercing blue optics staring into their sparks.
He would also make a stash of energon cubes in some dark corner, never to be discovered until months after the matter and long after his memories are returned.
He would also probably try to dig a hole in the ground at some point after feeling a little too exposed, but this would also be stopped quickly after Ratchet gets involved.
Instead Orion is given a bunch of empty crates to do with as he wishes.
He would build a cave like structure and defend it like his life depended on it.
Orion would also start randomly chewing on things as in his previous frame it was necessary for him to file his fangs down occasionally.
On that same train of thought he would also leave scratch marks everywhere like some giant cat for the exact same reason but instead for his claws.
He would also have some rather spectacular moments of clumsiness as he would not be used to his infinity less wild frame.
He would probably try to climb up the walls or something only to land on his aft after realizing his pedes are flat and aren't claw like anymore.
Orion would 100% try to eat dirt when feeling peckish only to realize it has no energon and is literally just dust and gravel.

Remnants of the Wild
Orion had to adapt to live in the Cybertronian wilds. And while most of those adaptations faded with time, some things just stuck, even after he became Prime.

Feral Orion Pax
Despite how much Orion, and later Optimus might have glorified it, living in the Cybertronian wilds was no easy feat, especially for an unattended sparkling. The newly forged Orion Pax would have died from either starvation or natural hazards if left alone. But thankfully for Orion, he was picked up by a local pack of predators and raised to be capable of not only surviving but thriving in the wilds.
He spent his sparkling years feasting on the energon of hunted creatures alongside his mechanimal siblings and recharging tucked against the huddled frames of his pack. As he grew older and his frame came to be larger, he joined his adopted family on their excursions, hunting and learning the ways of the wilds. He was treated like any other newly forged youngling of his caretakers' species. As such he did what all sparklings do and bonded to his adopted family, his base coding changing his very CNA to better match theirs.
This meant that by the time he was grown and living in his own territory away from his pack of origin, he was truly a terrifying sight to behold.
He could have been mistaken for a rouge Predacon if it weren't for his very definitively Cybertronian helm and facial structure. His frame was huge, his plating colorless, jagged, and highly intimidating. His digits were long, clawed, and very obviously meant to tear prey to pieces and cut into tender protoform. His legs were unusually long, granting him both incredible mobility and a terrifying stride when in pursuit of a potential target. His optics were sharp and piercing, meant to catch even the slightest movement no matter the light or situation. And Lastly, Orion's mouth was filled with sharp serrated denta which gleamed threateningly when combined with low light conditions and the glow of his optics.
As one might have guessed, Alpha Trion left with his fair share of wounds when he found and promptly subdued Orion. After Alpha Trion took Orion in, he had to start from the very beginning when it came to Orion's education. Teaching him language, speech, basic manners, and other things a sparkling should have learned while slowly helping him acclimate to civilization. This took nearly a vorn, after which Alpha Trion spent a similar amount of time taking Orion to specialized therapists and doctors to help him lose some of his wilder traits.
After several vorns of teaching him and slowly reformatting his frame to something more civilized, Orion finally appeared and acted mostly normal...
Orion Pax
Most of the wild features that Orion retained were small, at least the physical aspects. His legs were still longer than average and his frame was still built to withstand just about anything. But this was easily dismissed as him being built as a combat class mech or having a sturdier frame type. As such the only things that stuck out on him physically were his still very much present fangs and clawed digits.
While not a problem in the archives since his appearance had long since become a normal sight, newcomers tended to shy away in fear upon meeting his predatory gaze for the first time. His social obliviousness did little to help him in those situations as for a long time he was unable to determine what was wrong. However his rather straight forwards perspective in social matters did allow him to make fast friends with just about anyone able to look past his appearance.
However it wasn't just a few physical differences that set him apart, it was his mentality. He had no qualms against eating the fauna of Cybertron if he was hungry and the opportunity presented itself. He would also tend to forget to speak when uncomfortable and revert to using body language and his EM field for communication. Animalistic sounds slipping out on occasion were also common alongside his habit of subconsciously sizing everyone up, flaring his plating to look larger.
Megatronus found it to be more adorable than intimidating.
Picking apart the weaknesses of those around him with an uncomfortably long stare was also something that tended to set his fellows on edge. His quiet but undoubtedly possessive behavior was also noted when he finally felt comfortable around his friends. Often he would get in-between others who he deemed dangerous and his "pack", doing his best to keep them safe. Even Megatronus who stood nearly a head taller than him was not exempt from Orion's overprotectiveness. And despite not being a very touchy feely individual, Orion always made sure his "pack" were well taken care of and loved.
Him leaving dead mechanimals on his friend's doorsteps or workstations was also something he did regularly until Ratchet informed him of how unsettling it was. He would also leave small markings on his "pack's" armor if he could get away with it. Often nothing more than a small scratch on the paint, a quiet declaration that they were under his protection. Small affectionate touches and near undetectable humming were also common ways for him to show how much he cared.
Of course after working alongside Megatronus, fighting in the war, and becoming Prime, a great many of these little habits and features faded.
Optimus Prime
After the Matrix's forced reformat, Optimus retained even less of his wild features. All that remained were subtle things, like his digits which were still slightly pointed, or his optics which seemed a little too piercing, and his denta which appeared to be sharper than they should be. Of course, his long limbs remained, but the Matrix hid their unusualness beneath a thick layer of armor that accentuated other parts of his frame, almost as though to draw attention away from the effects of his less-than-pure Cybertronian CNA.
His coding was also reworked, pushing him to give more attention to others and the welfare of Cybertron instead of his and his "pack's" survival. This in turn eliminated many of his previous habits, instead making way for diplomatic data, battle protocols, and the wisdom of the Primes. That is not to say his pack instincts have faded out entirely, no, they still remain, but they do require a reason for activation.
The only times he exhibits even slightly wilder traits are when those closest to him are in danger or in need of comfort and when the rush of battle grows to be too much.
During the former situation, before and after arriving to earth, his go-to method of protecting his family is to take the lead. He makes himself larger, more stoic, seemingly untouchable and eternally wise. He takes it upon himself to shoulder all their burdens and to be there, allowing his presence to make them feel protected and loved. The occasional song like humming that he may produce is too high pitched for most to hear, even for his fellow Cybertronians. But it does subconsciously make his family, and even the human children feel that much safer. He might also offer some comforting touches and words but usually he tries to help his family quietly, lest his mask of stoicism slip.
As for the latter situation, his self preservation has been nearly eliminated in the sense that Optimus no longer feels the need to preserve himself if it would benefit a greater cause. This conflicts with his wild base coding and can cause him to fall into a maddened rage if he feels his family is too threatened. He cannot flee as the Matrix and his Prime programming would never allow it, but his wild coding also refuses to let him roll over and accept death for himself or his family. As such he can fall into a berserker like rage when things get dire, his morals and everything outside of his need to eliminate the threat being pushed to the side.
He has long since learned to control this rage, but when it does happen Megatron does not even bother coming up with a good excuse and flees the battlefield. An Optimus who doesn't care, who isn't weighed down by morals and duty and only has the primal desire to tear his prey to pieces is not one who Megatron has any intention of messing with.
feral orion pax.... got anything?
I've always got more feral Orion Pax! I wouldn't be a fan if I didn't.
The Wildling of the Archives
When Ratchet was young he met Orion Pax while searching for a medical text. It was a simple meeting and he found himself enjoying the company of the well mannered and soft spoken student of the master archivist. During the vorns they spent developing their friendship, Ratchet developed a very specific view of his friend, one that was so deeply engrained into his mind that when Orion finally felt comfortable enough to show some of his more wild traits, it took Ratchet by complete and total surprise.
It started small of course. Orion began simply by showing off his fanged denta more often, a sign of trust since most shied away in fear when he smiled. Ratchet raised a brow but said nothing in regards to Orion's denta. He had seen far more interesting mutations and modifications in the medical ward. A fanged set of denta was nothing to him.
Then when Orion grew more comfortable he also started wrapping his field around Ratchet's, albeit hesitantly at first. That set off a few alarm bells for Ratchet but he once again didn't make a comment on it since Orion never smothered him in his field or tried anything sketchy. To Ratchet it seemed like a greeting and defensive gesture and so he allowed it to be without issue. Of course when Orion began quietly allowing bits of emotion to flow through and into his field Ratchet began to reconsider his stance on remaining silent. But as Ratchet observed and saw that the emotions were all soothing and protective in nature he opted to continue to allow Orion to do as he wished. It was odd having another constantly wrap him up in their field as if he were a glass doll, especially in Iacon where every mech kept their fields tucked as close as possible. But Ratchet had heard tales of places where such behavior was normal and so thinking Orion must have come from such a location on Cybertron, he began returning the gesture.
The first time he allowed his field to tentatively reach out to Orion's, the archivist's optics blew wide and he nearly dropped what he was holding to stare in awe. The surprise didn't last for long as a huge smile soon spread across Orion's face which was quickly followed by his field intermingling with Ratchet's happily. It was rather overwhelming and Ratchet pulled his field back, wrapping it as close to his protoform as he could while he dealt with the string of emotions that came from Orion's end. And while Orion looked apologetic and somewhat put off by his harsh retreat, the archivist never took the moment to spark and life continued as always, with Ratchet sometimes allowing his field to brush across and mingle with Orion's when he was feeling confident.
On such occasions Orion never ceased to smile in joy, his whole frame puffed up in pride as if he had just won something. Ratchet did not understand at all but as usual didn't comment on the increasing oddity that was Orion Pax... right up until Orion went nuts when a mech began harassing him.
Ratchet had always been told he was pretty, by his peers, his friends, and even by Orion on occasion. But the mech before him was taking it too far, probing and getting in his personal space in such a way that Ratchet wanted to purge. Throughout most of the interaction Orion had been civil, watching and glaring at the mech, his ever so slightly clawed digits curled up in a fist but otherwise not acting. But when the mech got close enough for his field to touch where Orion's wrapped around Ratchet like a shield, revealing all the mech's perverted intentions, all hell broke loose. Before the mech could react Orion screeched with enough volume and intensity to cause the nearby mecha to pause and stare in horror as Orion punched the mech clean in the face. He didn't stop there and clambered all over the mech, digging his claws into exposed seams and biting down on any piece of plating he could connect to.
It was the most terrifying deviation from the normal, kind, and calm archivist that Ratchet knew, so much so that he fell back to the ground in shock as his friend tore into the mech. Orion only stopped when Ratchet regained his senses enough to tear Orion off the mech even as Orion hissed and flailed, eager to get back into the one sided beatdown he was engaging in. Even when he finally calmed enough to disengage, Orion clung to him, his plating flared and growling at any mecha who came near, even officers who came to investigate. Ratchet was contemplating trying to knock his friend out or even make a run for it when Alpha Trion turned up, scruffed Orion, and dealt with the situation.
Orion was kept away from everyone for a few days afterward and when he did meet with Ratchet... it was awkward until Ratchet just asked the question that had been eating at him.
Ratchet: What in the pits was that?!
Orion: It was... a reaction from my base coding
Ratchet: Your base coding is still active?
Orion: Yes, and when I get... attached to other mecha, it tends to act up more often around them. My apologies.
Ratchet was dumbstruck by the revelation. Never once did he imagine that his kind and quiet archivist had active base coding. Not only that, but the fact that it was active had worrying implications. After all, the only way base coding remains active in fully developed mecha is due to extreme stress or exposure to another with active codes. And since Ratchet was 99% sure no one else in the archives had active base codes, he held Orion close after the revelation and treated him with all the care in the world as he dug around looking for who might have hurt his dear friend.
Orion didn't notice Ratchet's efforts and just seemed oh so pleased with Ratchet's affection that he was completely unaware as Ratchet rooted out the entire archive. He dug around in staff records, scanned through security footage, looked for anything suspicious, and even did some basic questioning. He also may or may not have given Jazz a handful of shanix to get him files on individuals that he found to possibly be involved somehow. But eventually Alpha Trion stepped in and let Ratchet know that "No, Orion was not abused. He just came from the wilds" once again leaving Ratchet dumbstruck. He had been so certain he was dealing with an abuse case that he overlooked another possible answer.
He felt like an idiot and did not reveal the fact he had gone rooting through everyone Orion had ever interacted with. He still couldn't bring himself to stop giving Orion affection even after he was made aware of Orion's situation. However even with everything cleared up and Orion's behavior being given a viable cause, Ratchet still did not expect to find a dead mech-animal on his workstation around a half vorn after Orion's tussle with the mech who had bothered him. This he did comment on and told Orion quite firmly that "no, dead mech-animals are not proper presents for civilized mecha, but thank you all the same".
Orion sheepishly nodded at being told as such and didn't bring Ratchet anything of that variety again. But the medic in training often found small shiny things on his workstation instead. Once he even found what looked to be an optic, earning an innocent shrug from Orion when Ratchet brought it to him in horror. And while Ratchet did get rid of the optic, he kept everything else Orion gave him in a small and methodically organized container. He made sure to write the date of when he received each gift and kept everything clean and well maintained. Of course if anyone commented on his box of trinkets from his friend, they received a seething glare and promptly left the topic alone.
By the time Orion began preparing to go and perform politically and meet Megatronus, Ratchet had grown used to Orion's behavior and even welcomed it. He pretended to not see the subtle scratches Orion left on his plating after their meetings, a sign that he knew to be a claim of sorts. He did not object to Orion playing the role of a protector when they went out and even found it calming to have Orion stand tall, plating firm and slightly flared as he glared at passers by. He especially found it nice to not have to deal with unwanted mecha as Orion would make his claim explicitly clear by wrapping his arms around Ratchet and growling lowly. It usually got the point across, sometimes even causing misunderstandings in regards to their relationship. But in the odd event that Orion's behavior didn't warn off an offender... well, Orion had more than a few charges of assault tacked onto his record.
Ratchet was surprised to see his archivist so possessive and wild when he allowed himself to relax, but he enjoyed the company of Orion all the same.
I've eaten up all your feral!Orion content and it's SO GOOD!! Do you...have any thoughts on feral!Orion and Megatronus???
I do love me some feral Orion. So of course here is some more for you dear anon!
Previous part here.
The Terror of the Pits
Megatronus met Orion in a rather simple way. Orion Pax came down from the upper echelons of Iacon to ask him some questions about his ideals and beliefs. While not normally something he would entertain, Orion had a look in his optics that Megatron knew well, the gaze of a hunter. Thus, intrigued with the archivist, he allowed an audience... then two... then three... and before long he was having bi deca-cycle meetings with the head archivist.
Orion was well educated in all manners and knew far more than he likely should have about anatomy, methods of making mecha "disappear", and how to get out of arrests and assault charges. Not only that, but Megatronus noted nearly immediately the fanged denta the archivist had and the slightly clawed digits that he sported. At first he thought them mods or upgrades made for appearances sake, but upon meeting Ratchet around the time Orion began associating with him regularly, those thoughts went out the window.
He watched on in total bewilderment as Orion went from normal mech™ to possessive nightmare fuel straight from the deepest pits of Cybertron in under a Klik whenever Ratchet turned up. Orion did not play games when it came to his medic and Megatronus was quick to stay the frag away from any action that Orion saw as a threat. He was there to observe the archivist nearly shred a gladiator after the mech in question made an inappropriate comment toward Ratchet and since that cycle he never again judged Orion based off his appearance and kept himself in line.
Ratchet was off limits and that was fine in Megatronus's book. Orion was a good companion and grew to be an excellent aid in his efforts. Thus he could easily overlook a little hyper aggression on the archivist's part. He was content to merely observe Orion's little habits and keep himself out of them, however he should have known that as his and Orion's friendship grew stronger, so would Orion's tendency to act out of the norm.
It was small things at first, a simple lingering touch here, a slight growl there, and the odd instance of Orion stepping in front of him almost protectively. That was it for a while and despite being odd, it was nothing worthy of much note. They were friends and gladiators tended to behave similarly when they felt the need to make a point. Of course then Orion seemed to get bolder and those small things evolved into something more.
Next thing Megatronus knew, Orion followed him fragging everywhere when he was in the pits visiting. The archivist was not as tall as him, but Primus his field made up for the lost height easily. Orion took no slag and made himself to be Megatronus's personal guard even though it was completely unneeded. The younger mech was not afraid to size up gladiators nearly double his size nor did he hesitate to begin growling and making a show of himself with flared plating when he felt Megatronus was in any sort of danger.
It was odd, very much so. However when asked Ratchet simply shrugged and offered the truth like it wasn't the strangest thing of the century.
Megatronus: Why is he like this? Is he perhaps malfunctioning?
Ratchet: No, not at all. He's just got active base coding.
Megatronus: Orion Pax? The archivist? Who hurt him badly enough to have him acting on base coding?
Ratchet: No one. According to Alpha Trion he came straight from the wilds and the coding has just stuck.
Megatronus: Then all this-?
Ratchet: Its a sign that he cares. You get used to it.
It was worrisome at first, but Megatronus let it be. Orion could be as wild as he wished so long as he didn't cause any wars or civil unrest. Thus Megatronus also overlooked the scratches that were most decidedly not from battle that he found carved onto his back almost as boldly as a "kick me" sign. He got a bit of mockery for it from his fellows, but that mockery quickly evaporated like smoke when his archivist threw himself into the arena during a particularly tense fight and practically mauled Megatronus's opponent.
Orion was downright feral as he latched on and dug into his enemy with enough strength to have Megatronus considering weather or not Orion was a civilian or not. Of course what terrified him most was how Orion's mouth seemed to open far larger than it should have as he bit down on the other gladiator's neck all while his optics widened so impossibly that it was frightening. It took three separate mecha to get Orion off Megatronus's opponent and even then it also took Ratchet to calm Orion down enough to peel him off where he had practically welded himself to Megatronus's side.
Orion Pax was from then on known as a terror in the pits not to be trifled with. Not a spark dared go anywhere near Megatronus with anything but pure intent when Orion was around simply because there were also a few incidents reported to him by Soundwave of Orion hunting certain mecha down to leave ominous dead things on their porches.
It just kept escalating as their friendship grew and eventually Megatronus grew to appreciate the little things Orion did. He liked the way Orion wrapped his field around him and he greatly enjoyed the random gifts Orion brought. They were always a tad ridiculous, but he was proud to weave the bits of plating Orion collected from his foes into a charm that he wore when he wanted to make a statement. And while a little more irritating, it was rather humorous to have Orion go out of his way to bring Megatronus his energon for him and only after checking for contamination.
It was almost like he had his own attack dog, but Orion was far too clever to be awarded such a pathetic title. No, with the way he would hunt down those he thought wronged Megatronus with a vengeance? He deserved the title of Terror of the Pits.
In the end Megatronus took great pride in painting Orion's armor a few vorns after their meeting and proclaiming him an honorary gladiator with how often he somehow managed to kick the afts of his fellows during spars. Orion was a challenge the gladiators liked to face and Orion was always calmer after getting down on all fours and going wild against the heavily armored gladiators who could take a great deal more of a beating than the soft little city mecha.
Good times.
Megatronus never forgot those simple days and had a great deal of fun making bets with Ratchet regarding who Orion would fight and who would win. Ratchet usually won, but Megatronus told himself it was because Ratchet had known Orion longer.

I NEVER POSTED THIS, I NEVER POSTED THIS, I FORGOT TO POST THIS ITS FROM LAST YEAR MARCH
Mmkay, so we’re all familiar with the “Alpha Trion rescues feral sparkling OP” and then he’s gotta deal with this tiny little undomesticated bastard who won’t stop chewing on furniture, BUT… how about “Alpha Trion rescues feral Cybertronian equivalent to late-teens/early-twenties OP.” And this just makes everything 10x funnier because instead of needing to domesticate a hissy sparkling you need to domesticate a grown-ass adult who can now legally drink but prefers to eat the table legs and any random animals he finds lying around. Trying to control a feral cat vs trying to control a feral cat the size of a Great Dane.

So, uhh…
How about that Covenant of Primus, eh? The whole -y’know- canon bible behind the Aligned continuity of Transformers including the Prime cartoon series?
How about the implications there of Orion Pax having been found and adopted by Alpha Trion from outside Iacon, like a feral wild gremlin child?
Guess who’s been having a lot of thoughts and ideas about all that.
Also, if anyone who actually owns a Covenant of Primus book and could get me a scan of the actual words of this implication, I would be Eternally Grateful.
