“An accidental brush of lips followed by a pause and going back for another, on purpose.”

“Kook, we both have a 9am tomorrow, lets just sleep.” You mumble, as you plug in your controller to charge overnight. Closely to your side your best friend still sits with his controller in his hands under the blanket. 

He is close enough for you to feel the entire length of his body against yours. You’re painfully aware of it, in your way too small bed. Yet you wouldn’t kick him out for the world. No, you enjoy his warmth way too much for that. 

“One more level?” he pouts, leaning into your side more. 

You groan, eyes heavy with sleep. “Fine, you play one more level while I try to sleep." 

His pout worsens and you chuckle, patting his thigh over the blanket with a whispered goodnight as you turn away from him. 

It’s easy to close your eyes, but not as easy to sleep. Jungkook manages to remain pressed up against you. It was his idea to stay in your room tonight, only because you had just gotten that new Toad puzzle game for the switch and he wanted to try it out. 

Turns out, snuggling in your bad gave your already lost brain way too many ideas to toy with. 

Yeah, you’ve had feelings for Jungkook for a long while now. At this point you’ve blatantly come to accept the fact that you’ll always be fawning over him without him noticing. How can he be so blind? Does he really not notice the way you look at him? The way you lean into him every time he touches you? Every time he sits next to you?
