I didn't think this would need to be said, but it's become an issue in our personal life. Abuse survivors do not owe you their story. If they aren't ready to talk about it, there's a reason. Please don't push it. I understand it is hard not to know the details, especially if you care about them, but forcing information out of someone about these things is so incredibly dangerous. Don't make someone re-open a wound that's not fully healed.
(Of course, it's a different story for medical or mental health professionals, but I digress)

I'm a member of a system AND a primary homicidal ideation holder. I can guarantee you, you should be less scared of me and more scared of our 13 year old ex-host. he won't hurt you physically, but he will tell you your eyebrows are uneven and you have split ends.

How systems vary and are the same throughout the community has always been super interesting to us, so we made a survey to collect data and learn more!! (repsones are completely anonymous by default, and names given will be blurred when results are posted) reblogs are greatly appreciated for sample size!
alright, yall so we're gonna post the results and everything in a day or two, buttt before then we wanted to thank everyone who participated as we mentioned diversity in system experiences is super interesting to us and also thank anyone who gave us feedback!
Especially on the age question we had our circle of online system friends in mind so the oldest option is 25+ which is in hindsight a very big age range to all be lumped together so the results on thay question will definitely be less-than-percise, if we do something like this again I will keep that in mind
We also want to apologize for leaving out schizophrenic spectrum disorders/psychotic disorders on the comorbity section. Yall are obviously an important part of the community, and it was not excluded for any malicious reasons!! I'm really not sure how we didn't notice that the whole category of conditions wasn't an option

Just wanted to verbalize some extra support for RA survivors. This time of year tends to be particularly brutal for those of us who have experienced such things. I can't give any profound advice or wisdom. Just quiet solidarity.
