If looks could kill, Kohga should know he'd be dead thrice over at this point; Because his husband is a little stretched thin at the moment, with one of his daughters using his outstretched arm as a jungle gym--while the other arm is in the middle of signing what looks to be a document regarding a visit with the Zora.
"I am....a little....busy, husband." Kamai stresses through his teeth, still level enough to not scare the little Gerudo in the room with them, who is blissfully unaware and using her Father's shoulders as a stepping stone, with his hair wrapped around her little fist as an anchor.

The King, per usual, is at the desk in his study, reading--yet tonight, it is a favorite book of his, rather than any paperwork.
When he's interrupted from the pages, however, it takes him a second to react...but if one looked close enough, they would see a smile curling up the edges of Kamai's lips before he resumes reading.

Kohga flings off his mask, basking in the warmth of the flames of a dying empire upon his soot-stained face. It feels so goddamn bloody good. The fight’s over. It’s done. And they’re alive, the both of them, goddamn fucking alive and it’s the sweetest sensation in the world to know they’ve all made it through this.
Kohga turns to face his lord, lover, and partner, the smile that greets the King as blinding as the fires that blaze around them. It’s as radiant and brilliant as ever it is, even through all the wariness and exhaustion that’s worked its way into every fibre of his being—it’s still a symbol of hope to the Yiga, and more recently, the Gerudo. And what a wonder hope can be to hearts that have lost everything.

Covered head to toe in blood and grime and Din knows what else, Ganondorf still has the gall to call him beautiful. It makes Kohga’s heart skip a beat, then flutter like a trapped butterfly, especially for what he’s about to do next…
Kohga steps forward and takes Ganondorf’s hands into his own, gently coaxing the both of them to the ground. Kohga doesn’t mind the rubble and rock that digs into his knees, it’s a comfort when he’s been on his feet all day, fighting tooth and sickle for everything he and his people have strived for for centuries, just to see it all burned to the ground—
And it’s all gone. A symbol of Hyrule’s unending rule toppled down in one fell swoop, and he’s not sure he’s ever going to feel this elated again. Which is fine with him, because he’s waited lifetimes upon lifetimes for this very moment, biding those long years for a chance just like this.
He couldn’t have done it alone.

Kohga pulls out the bundle he’s had hidden away before they marched here, and even through all the ensuing scuffle, it’s remained untouched and pristine. His smile widens, hands trembling with both exhaustion and sheer jitters.
He slips the hair pin into Ganondorf’s hand, the metalwork an intricate detailing of Gerudo and Yiga designs combined into something cohesive and beautiful. He rather thinks it’s an apt metaphor for the world they’re about to create. Together. From the ashes they both kneel in where a new dawn will rise. And Kohga can’t think of anything better than doing that, hand clasped in hand, with the man he loves.
" This is something we Yiga gift to those we wish to share our lives with. In ancient times, we gave it to another to show them how much we want to protect them. It’s embedded with magic properties too, wards… all that good stuff, " ugh. He’s rambling. Get on with it, Kohga.
" So… call this whatever you want. What I’m asking here is… Marry me, Lord Ganon. I want to see whatever world we’re about to walk into by your side for as long as I can. Marry me, you perfect bastard."
He doesn’t even give the other a chance to respond before quickly adding, ears and cheeks burning scarlet,
