ᯓ Isagi Yoichi

"Hm? You wanna go get dinner? Of course. Let's go."

Getting your feelings reciprocated wasn't all that hard. You liked each other and it was all good then. But it was obvious that you took the relationship seriously early on. For a lack of a better term, it was quite one-sided for a while.

He'd be thinking about that fact a lot. Should he be happy? Should he be guilty? So so many thoughts racked his brain.

Eventually—after thinking about it so much—it' like his brain reprogrammed him. A switch was flipped and one day he was lovesick with you. He realized that life wouldn't be the same if you weren't there for him.

Everything you did for him—piled up—and his heart caved. Isagi thought he was the biggest fool for not taking you seriously as well when you first started off.

The whippest of whipped men—I tell ya. He'll indulge you in every little wish and desire you had. Absolute princess treatment from him. But he does unironically call you "queen."

ᯓ Barou Shoei

"What are you talking about? I've always been serious about you!"

The only reason he didn't pour in as much effort at first was because he was too focused on football and improving himself. You fully supported him and his dreams though. Instant brownie points!

He realizes how determined you are to stand behind him no matter what. Slowly, but surely, he builds up so much gratitude for your efforts that he softens over time.

He also realizes that you don't deserve to just cheer him from behind. As a matter of fact, you should be right beside him instead—celebrating his wins as if it were your own.

Barou tries to do the same and support you in the things you love. He'll even learn a thing or two about your hobbies so that you can bond over that as well. He tries so hard to make the relationship so equal and fair. His attempts give you the butterflies.

He will deny at all costs that he didn't love you as much as he did now. Barou will insist that he had loved you soooo much ever since. You knew he was sugarcoating to save your feelings, but it was endearing how he tried nonetheless.

ᯓ Reo Mikage

"New shoes? What about some jewelry? C'mon, let me spoil you a bit."

He was a bit reserved about your relationship at first. You were lovely and every positive adjective out there—but he had his reasons to be iffy. He's stinking rich and people have definitely taken advantage of that before.

However, you weren't like his previous lovers. You could care less about his wealth; you loved him simply for him. Painstaking as it was—you made sure that he'd realize that somehow.

And he does notice this. It was subtle, but he'd slowly ease up on you—becoming more open, spending more time with you, and being more affectionate overall.

You know he's wrapped around your little finger because he just introduced you to his parents. That's when you know it's getting SERIOUS.

When he does fall deeply in love with you, he does a whole 360 and starts spoiling you like crazy. He'll treat you out to 5-star restaurants, buy you designer brand clothing, and bring you to places all over the world. As much as you try to refuse and settle for something more lowkey, he will never back down.

ᯓ Rin Itoshi

"You're so annoying... yeah, yeah... I love you too."

He was hesitant at first because he has major abandonment issues (poor baby). He liked you, sure, but that was as far as he'd allow himself to fall for you. "Love" seemed too serious and dangerous for him to get into.

His doubts bled into your relationship and made it difficult. Truthfully, there were times when you questioned if it was worth it. But you persevered; you wanted to prove him wrong.

After a major fight, he was sure that you were going to leave without another thought. He anticipated this moment yet, he felt like he wasn't ready at all for your departure in his life.

Rin was about to go into an existential crisis when... you somehow came back to him. You smiled at him as if nothing had happened. You told him that you still loved him for all his faults. It felt like he was slapped across the face (in a good way).

Once you had helped him overcome his issues, he felt a bit more comfortable with the idea of "loving" you. So much so that he'd do everything in his power to keep you happy at all times. He was sure that he will never come across someone like you again in his life.

ᯓ Oliver Aiku

"It's just you, babe. I promise. No one else is in the picture."

Where do I even begin... Well, let's just say he likes to keep his options open (sob). Sure, you were in a relationship. Committed? Maybe not yet. But he says that you shouldn't worry 'cuz they're just friends.

He was faithful... to an extent. The most that he did, after all, was be too friendly with others—which could be mistaken for flirting. But all you could do was sit there and hope that he'd stop it soon.

Although, at some point you reach your breaking point. You bring it up again and it blows up into a huge fight. The conclusion was to have an indefinite break from each other.

In that time you were away from each other, he realizes how big of a fuck up that was on his part. Now was the time he'd start missing you SO MUCH. It was so bad that he couldn't think of anyone else but you and he didn't even have the energy to entertain people that weren't you.

One day you two get to talking again and it leads to a mini reconciliation. He promises with his life that he'd take you more seriously and that you'd be the one and only person his attention would be on.

ᯓ Bachira Meguru

"You're the cure to my boring life."

You quickly realize that he's not the type to be super serious about someone early on. He's not too experienced with dating, so he's complacent in the simple fact that you like him and he likes you.

Nevertheless, you love to indulge him with his whims. You were determined to be his ride-or-die and it showed. You supported him through every step he took, offering gentle pieces of advice every once in a while to keep him grounded.

There were rare occurrences when he'd be self-aware. He'd realize that sometimes he was going too fast without taking into consideration the feelings of other people. Then, he'd be hyperaware of what you felt towards him and your relationship.

Your impact in his life becomes more apparent in these moments. Bachira eventually begins to consider you more in his life—integrating you in everything that he does. In due course, football wasn't just an outlet for him, but also a way to make you proud of him.

He is the sweetest person ever after falling so hard. But, the only issue (not actually) is that he now requires more affection to function normally.

ᯓ Gagamaru Gin

"Love? Huh... I guess that's the word."

The falling harder part certainly took a while to happen. Similar to Bachira, Gagamaru doesn't have much experience in the world of dating. The idea never intrigued him, so he figured there was no point in entertaining it. But your persistent ass came along.

I can't imagine him getting into a relationship without a little (huge) nudge from you. You'd have to be incredibly patient and perseverant to get your feelings across.

This would certainly be a first love type of scenario. The newfound feelings and experiences you had to offer him overwhelmed Gagamaru in a good way.

He had nothing else to compare this to; he believes your love is the one of the greatest things in his life (close competition with grilled meat).

Cannot get enough of you now. It's like a drug to him—addicting and it consumes it. Before you know it, he's absolutely worshipping the shit of you—doing everything in his power to make you the happiest human alive.

ᯓ Yukimiya Kenyu

"You're the prettiest thing I've ever laid my eyes upon."

I suppose his case is a bit similar to Reo's—except Yukimiya's is about his looks. In the past, people would only date him for superficial reasons or to clout chase. Relationships often end quickly before they even turned into anything meaningful.

It made him a teensy bit pessimistic about dating. It didn't stop him completely, but the enthusiasm in the first stages had vanished. More so, it became a period of observation for him—whether the relationship had the potential to blossom.

You were well-aware of his good looks and reputation. While those things are definitely great, they were just a bonus to all the other things you liked about him. You complimented him a lot, but he wasn't entirely receptive at first.

Things changed when you stuck around for him in his lowest moments. You promised him that you'd stay by his side no matter what happened to his eye. The way you poured your heart into the promise made him weep a little with how sincere it was.

When it was clear that you were unlike the rest of his relationships, he was determined to put in more effort. Your compliments were met with even more and cheesier ones from him. He pampered you, took care of you, and boasted you to anyone who asked.

ᯓ Shidou Ryusei

"You make it throb... my heart, I mean."

His previous relationships were also short-lived primarily because he was too intense (freaky) for his partners to handle. It was set in stone: starting now, he would never settle for anyone who cannot match his enthusiasm (freak).

Out of all of them, he's probably the one that falls harder the fastest. But it's no easy feat to achieve. You really need to capture his attention—make him fascinated by your very existence. Do those simple things and he's yours in a flash.

But here's the surprise—with him, there's another layer to it. Sure, he could be deeply interested in you. But can he be serious with you? Can he honestly say that he's committed to you? Those are important questions that pop up once you've been together for a while.

He might not seem like it, but underneath that chaotic exterior is just another person wanting to be loved for who they are. And if you prove to him you're not just with him for fleeting fun, then he might take a liking for you even longer.

You only know that he's 100% serious about you when he can finally sit down and talk to you, heart-to-heart. His vulnerability is something that he would only show to the most special of special people in his life. That happens to be you.

ⅲ — i watched all of blue lock in one day yesterday so i dont know if i got this correct. uhhhhhh oh the weather outside is frightful. please enjoy reading.

you ruffled under the bed sheets and multiple blankets piled on top of you, snuggled up in the borrowed (stolen) hoodie you got from gagamaru’s closet. you heard the nearby shuffling of him nearby, so you shielded yourself with the blankets, knowing he was looking for the exact same hoodie you borrowed from him. 

the curses were getting louder and louder, he finally got to his destination. you know it wasn’t a really good hiding place, but you had to make it work for now. “y/n?” you could hear the muffled sounds of gagamaru’s deep voice echoing from the hallways. you let out a little giggle, but put your hand over your mouth to suppress the noise. 

“sweetheart, is that you?” he questioned, as he walked further to the area where the noise was coming from. you could hear his footsteps getting louder and louder. the sound of him frequently rustling around nearby closets or underneath piled up objects. until he found you. he snatched the blankets off of you to reveal your evil deed. 

“oh . . .” gagamaru said, gazing upon your figure. his hoodie just fit so well on you, almost like a second blanket. gagamaru’s eyes widened when he saw his missing article of clothing planted on his lover's body. “found it.” he said, while grabbing the material off of you. 

you two struggled for a little bit—mostly you because gagamaru was so strong. “stop it, maru!” you said, trying to kick him off the bed. a smile was plastered on his face during the battle for his hoodie. he needed it desperately, he claimed, but you just wouldn’t give it up. “baby, i don’t wanna have to resort to more . . . violent methods.” gagamaru said, looking up at you with his bug-like eyes. 

you gulped at how serious he was, that stupid smile still on his handsome face. you ignored the sentence nevertheless, and kept on defending your right to have his hoodie. 

he huffed and started to crack his fingers. your eyes widened at his actions and started to hide under the blankets, already knowing what's going to happen. 

he started his assault. 

gagamaru’s assault. 

the tickle assault. 

you couldn’t escape from his grasp now. not when he was repeatedly putting his fingers to work, making you laugh uncontrollably. “okay! okay! okay! maru! i’ll give it back!” you said in between laughs, trying to push gagamaru off at the same time. 

“promise?” he questioned. you looked him in his eyes, “i promise.” he smiled as he saw you slipping off his hoodie. he was so relieved, after all that work, he finally got what he wanted. you gave him his hoodie as you smothered yourself under the blankets yet again. 

just as he was beginning to leave, he began to sense something else missing. something missing from his catalog. he looked back at you to see you had his blue hoodie on. 

you two exchanged glances as you quickly hid underneath the blankets before he got to his destination. his speed was just too much for you. 

“you little . . .” gagamaru said playfully as he began his assault. the tickle assault.
