you freeze for a moment and gulp before slowly moving your arm to peel back the duvet from your body. you hear shuffles before a hand grips your arm firmly but gently.

“just where do you think you’re going, hm?” he huffs, voice raspy and deep before his arms wrap around your waist and pull you back to his side.

you curse under your breath and give in, deciding that this is the only logical decision compared to the ones you’ve made in the past. you’ve learnt from past mistakes.

you see, your boyfriend would rather let the world burn under his touch than have you slip from his arms before he awakens from his slumber, especially in the morning. (he’s more prone to grouchiness and a bad mood throughout the day without his morning cuddles but he argues that it’s just too early to wake up.)

“i was just getting up to get some water. i was g’na come right back, honest!” you nod your head and muster your best convincing smile as he watches you lie straight through your teeth.

he looks at you, unamused eyes drooping after every second.

“could you lie a little bit better? theres a full glass of water near your nightstand,” he yawns, lying down on your chest and using you as a pillow. you curse softly again and he chuckles quietly, his shoulders shaking.

he nuzzles into you and tightens his grip on you. “you’re not going anywhere, stop trying.”

you sigh. you’re definitely aware with the amount of times you’ve attempted to escape the warm confines of his bed and arms. it’s always resulted in you getting dragged back and plopped on the bed.

still, it’s charming and flattering how willing he is to spend time with you by his side in the mornings, despite it ruining your motivation to be more productive in the early hours of the day.

“15 minutes and we have to get up,” you hum, playing with his hair.

“noo,” he whines. “at least an hour..”

you sputter a little, “an hour? we have to eat something soon.”

he huffs, leaning into your fingers as they gently card through his hair. “just order off of doordash or somethin’,” he trails off, dropping all his weight on you before falling back asleep.

you can feel your eye twitch.

“OH MY GOD, NO!” you scream, leaning back on your chair and almost falling over. you toss your phone on the loveseat nearby and scramble to hug your legs together.

he lets out a few chuckles before full on laughing. “it’s not even scary, why are you screaming?” he puts his phone down, looking at you with a boyish grin.

“no! im not touching that game,” you sulk, still trembling from the (not-so) terrifying jumpscare you were a victim to.

“baby,” he purses his lips together to suppress his laughter. “its a block game! you can’t be seriously scared of it, right?”

you look at him in disbelief and scoff, “beat the game yourself then!”

he shrugs, flashing you a smug smirk. “let’s make a deal. if i don’t flinch throughout every level of this game, you have to pay for the takeout.” (you both know its a lie, this man will die before he lets you use your money to pay.)

you huff, “sure. but if you do, i get to pick the movie.”

“deal, i’m not ‘bouta watch ‘Tinkerbell and the pirate fairy’ again,” he shudders, picking his phone back up and progressing through the level.

“its a good movie!” you argue.

“mhm, sure. but when i win, we’re rewatching gossip g-AH!” he lets out a girlish scream, scrambling off of the couch and dropping his phone without hesitation.

your shoulders shake from the cackle you let out before the uncontrollable giggles follow after.

you wipe tears gathering on your lashline, “wow, real brave, babe.”

he crosses his arms, face turning red as he juts his bottom lip out a little. “whatever, it just caught me offguard!” he tries to justify, looking away from your smiling face.

“it’s okay, baby. its totally normal to scream even louder than your girlfriend when you play a horror game on a block g-”

“SO TINKERBELL RIGHT?” he suggests loudly, trying to change the subject.

you giggle and he groans. (yea, you’re definitely not letting this go.)

you & rin were spending time with your children in the park, your 4 year old daughter, and baby son who was only 9 months old. rin has taken time off playing football ever since the birth of your son so he could spend more time with you & his children. today you promised your daughter that you'd be going to the park today and go to the park today and that she could go to the playground there, so you did!! you and rin sat down on bench inside the playground, rin had your son in his arms rocking him back and forward rhythmically as he slept, after awhile of sitting there talking to Rin, it's been awhile since you ate last so you called out to your daughter so you could go to restaurant to eat.

"(daughter name)??? c'mere!!" You call out to her, suddenly you see her running over to you, grinning widely.

"Yes mommy??" She says, standing infront of the both of you, sweat running down her forehead for running around the playground.

"We're gonna go now and go eat lunch, m'kay???" You told her as you get up, grabbing her coat so you could help her put it on.

She pouted. "No mommy!! Go away, I wanna play more!!" She pouted, letting out a small frustrated sigh.

You were surprised at her sudden outburst, rin was also surprised, raising one of his eyebrows in suprisement as he kept on rocking your son. "No, we have to go, everyone, including you, is hungry." You answered back calmly. "Shut up, mommy!! M'not hungry, I wanna play again!!" She says, still pouting her voice laced with anger. Rin could believe what he was hearing. where did this sudden brattiness come from?? He never ever taught his daughter to be disrespectful towards her mother. Rin got up and handed your son to you. And crouched down to your daughter. She looked up at her father, who was a very very loving and caring father, with a slight irritated look on his face

"(daughter name) you don't speak to your mother like that." Rin says, his voice soft but still serious. "You should apologise, okay?? Daddy doesn't like when you speak to mommy in that way." The girl nodded her head, a slight frown on her face, she turned back to you and apologised.

"M'sorry mommy, I didn't mean t'get mad at you." She says, coming closer to you as she wrapped her arms around one of leg and hugged you. You crouched down baby still in your arms as you wrapped one of them around your daughter back. Rin looked down at the 3 of you, the best family he could ever ask for, everything he could ever ask for. A soft smile was plastered on his face, he couldn't help but be a big softie for the family he loved so dearly.

RYUSEI SHIDOU (my husband):

Ryu was sitting with yours and his 2 year old daughter who was laying asleep on the couch sprawled out and your 5 year old son who was watching the movie 'My Neighbour Totoro' while you were making dinner for everyone. Ryu had the day off work but he couldnt be more haipper spending time with you his beautiful, gorgeous wife and with his 2 kid, as you were finished cooking the dinner you called out to your son so he could help you set up the table for dinner.

"(son name)??? Could you help me set the table please dinner is ready!!" You called out but to no answer, you assumed he didn't hear you, so you walked into the sitting room. "(son name), could you help me set the table, please??? Dinner is ready." You ask him politely, but your son begins to pout.

"Shhh, be quiet, mommy. I'm trying to watch a movie with Daddy, so go away!!" The boy says, not bothering to make eye contact as he talks to you. He was more focused on the movie. Ryu looked down at his son, his brows furrowed slightly. He couldn't believe his son was being so rude to his mother. Ryu paused the movie to catch his son attention.

"Hey now little man, you can't speak to your mommy like that." He said softly, while speaking to the mini him. "Go help your mommy set the table then we can finish the rest of the movie, 'kay??" He said his voice still soft. "'Kay!!" The boy replied getting up and walking to the kitchen with you so he could help you, your son would always oblige to his father requests without any hassle so he wasn't one bit annoyed by this surprisingly. began to wake your daughter so she could come for dinner. The 2 of them walk to the kitchen, ready to eat, another amazing meal made by you. When they both were inside the kitchen, Ryu couldn't help but smile at both you and your son setting up the table and dishing out the food. He picked up your daughter and placed her into her highchair. He walked over to you and placed a kiss on the top of your head. "Food smells amazin', pretty." He says smiling softly at you then turning to your son. "Good job on setting the table, little man, well go play some football after dinner, yea??"

NAGI SEISHIRO:

you walked into your apartment after shopping for groceries to find sei fast asleep on the couch in the living room and your two 6 year old twin daughters who were watching TV. Sei heard you greet the girls and ypu carring the groceries to the kitchen and woke up. He lazily got and walked into kitchen, he saw you prepare some tuna mayo onigiri for the girls and began wrapped his big arm around you and pulled you into a hug. "Angle, your back, I missed you." He mumbled, resting his chin against the top of your head.

"Mmhm, I missed you too, sei!!" You answered back, smiling softly as put the onigiris onto plates. "Sei, I'm gonna give these to girls, 'kay??" You say, picking up both plates into your hand and began to walk into the living room, you expect Sei to let go of you and wait for you in the kitchen but it seems he was extra clingy today cuz he wasn't letting go of you. When we got to the living room, you began passed the plates to the two girl who were still engrossed in the show they were watching. After a couple of seconds, they began to eat onigiri. When all of a sudden your youngest daughter began to spat out the onigiri much to you and Sei surprise.

"Mommy!! I told you I don't like tuna mayo!!" She yelled. "This taste yucky!!" She pouted, crossing her arms in frustration. Sei was confused he could of could of sworn that she liked tuna mayo onigiri yesterday. Sei stopped clinging onto you and walked over to the youngest out of the 2 twins.

"Now, now, (daughter name), your mommy made you very nice meal there's no need to throw a fit," He spoke he's voice very soft. "Go apologise to mommy, 'kay??". The girl stopped crossing her arms but a slight pout was still on her face.

She began to walk up to you and stated to hug at your leg. "M'sorry mommy, I didn't mean to throw a fit." She says quietly. "I'll eat your onigiri sis!!" Your eldest daughter chimes in the middle of the conversation. "N-no you won't!!" Your youngest daughter says, grabbing the onigiri so her twin sister wouldn't eat it. Sei looked at the 2 twins fighting over the onigiri, a slight smile on his face. "How 'bout daddy has the onigiri" He say, to the 2 twins, holding out his hand excepting them to hand it over to him. "No!!" Both twins yelled, pouting at their father in annoyance.

RIN ITOSHI

Rin was coming back from practice he was earlier than usual. He texted you saying that he was coming home early, but you didn't answer he figured you were just sleeping like you usually were. As soon he got to the house, he walked to the living room to find you mid stretch. Your ballet shoes on the floor beside you. Shit, how were you going to explain this to Rin.

"Rin, look, I'm sorry for not telling you—" You say you felt bad for keeping it a secret from him. Rin didn't say anything back but just stood there in suprise.

"Why??? Why didn't you tell me??? It's not like I was going to hate you for it." Rin finally says, a very, very slight frown on his face.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, I actually haven't told anyone, I was scared people would make fun of me for ballet and doing ballet shows." You say it was true you were scared you get made fun of, so you ultimately kept it a secret.

"That's a stupid fucking reason, why would I make fun of you for ballet???" Rin looked down at you raising an eyebrow. You knew you should have told him sooner, but you were you'd always get nervous and pussy out of saying it to him. H

"I knowwww, I'm sorry." You say, frowning slightly. You felt guilty for not telling him. Really guilty.

"Just next time, let me see one of your ballet shows, alright???" He says, smiling slightly as he looked at you.

SHIDOU RYUSEI

Shidou was currently walking to your house. He was bored and wanted to hang out with you. As he walked to your house, he rang the doorbell but no answer, he rang the doorbell again but you still hadn't answered. Luckily, he may or may not have stolen your spare keys. He opened the door and called out to you.

"BABEEEEEEEE." He called out, but he was met with silence. He walked over to your living room to see you practing your positioning, headphones in which somehow blocked you from hearing him. You nearly felt soul leave your body when you saw him stood there.

"Ryu, what the fuck—" You say, but were immediately met with Shidou wrapping his arms around your waist, spinning you around.

"PRINCESSSS, YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU DID BALLET?!?!?" Shidou says, grinning as he continues to spin you around. He continues spinning you for another couple of second before he stops.

"Ryu— I was planning on telling you sometime, I was." You say, letting out a sigh. "I just didn't know how to tell you."

"Yeah, yeah, doesn't matter now!!! Ya know, you should have told meeee I could have cheered my baby on." He says, still grinning, still hugging your waist.

"You can come to my next competition???" You say, smiling softly at him as he clung to you.

"REALLYYYYYYYY??????" He says as he starts to spin you around again, a wide ass grin still on his face.

MICHAEL KAISER

Michael was coming back from a photo shoot, some brand or something. For once, he was actually early coming home to you. He was tired from posing all day, so he couldn't wait to cuddle up with you. As soon as he opened the door, he caught you mid spin. You moved so gracefully that he couldn't help but stare at you he was practically mesmerised by you. As you finished, you saw Michael standing there.

"Micha, why are ya home so early?!?!?" You say, slightly surprised, your cheeks flushed from embarrassment. You haven't told Michael that you do ballet shows sometimes.

"Fucking hell angel, you move so gracefully, I think I might be hypnotised." Michael say, chucking slightly as he walks up to you, smirking to himself.

"Micha, I wanted to tell you I did ballet and ballet shows, but— it could distract you from your football—" You tried to explain yourself as best as you could but Michael cut you off.

"That doesn't matter, love. I want to watch your show, no matter what, you hear me." Michael says, his smirking growing wider. "Can't wait to tell everyone this pretty ballerina is mine."

MICHAEL KAISER

You and Michael were both in your living room. You were busy typing an essay on your laptop while Michael was skipping through the channels and landed on a sports channel that was broadcasting a show from last week. When you looked up at the TV, you saw yourself in the middle of your performance.

Fuck.

How are you going to explain this???

"N/N??? You never told me you did ice skating." Michael says, still looking at your performance, a slight smirk on his face.

"Look— you probably have better things to be doing than watching me perform." You say, trying to explain my you never told Michael. Hearing this made his smirk grow wider.

"Me??? Nah, I wouldn't want to miss my angles, especially when she looks so elegant."

RIN ITOSHI

You and Rin were on the couching cuddling together. Rin was mindlessly flicking through sports channels while you were on your phone. While flicking through the channels, a particular one caught his eye. It was highlight of you and one of your performances from a month ago. You didn't notice until you heard your voice, making you look up at the TV cringing slightly.

"Fuck." You muttered under you breath.

"N/N, why haven't you told me about this???" Rin says, his eyes boring into yours.

"Well, I kinda just forgot to tell and was nervous cause you might think it stupid and—" You say, starting to ramble on about why you kept your hobby a secret.

"Y/N, you know I wouldn't do that." Rin says, his voice quite soft. "I'd be up in the stands anytime I get, just so I can see you, love."

SAE ITOSHI

Sae was in the living room watching TV after coming home from practice he was pretty tired, so you allowed him to rest on the couch while you made dinner for the both of you. Something you didn't know was that Sae was currently watching one of your stellar performances on the TV while you were making food, blissfully unaware of what was happening in the other room.

When you were finally done, you walked to the living to tell Sae dinner was ready, but as soon as you saw yourself on the TV, your heart sank. You've kept this a secret from him for so long how you were gonna explain this to him.

"Baby, you know you're actually quite good, better than I thought. But, why haven't you told me about this, huh???" Sae murmurs, looking at you, as stood there frozen.

"Well, ahm— I uhm—" You slurred out, trying to think of an excuse, but you were drawing a blank.

rin's voice is muffled against your neck, soft black hair ticking under your chin. his massive frame is sprawled overtop of you on the couch (which his feet hand over the armrest of because he is simply a big baby).

"i'm not cute, that's lukewarm." he grumbles, plush pink lips brushing slightly against your pulse point. you can feel his scrunched up brows against your skin: he was sulking.

your chuckle rings like bells in his ear, it doesn't help to distract him from the gooey warm mush clouding his mind. "rinnie, i believe many boys would be lucky to have their lover calling them cute..." there's a playful lilt to your words, corners of you lips quirking upwards in amusement.

he finds himself suppressing a whine, you know damn well why he's acting this way and you still chose to torment him, to tease him to ruthlessly.

"i'm not a baby, i'm a man..." rin huffs, but the soft pout on his lips and the grasping hands against your shirt tell otherwise. his head lifts up to expose his reddened cheeks: giving you the meanest glare he could muster (which looked more like an angry puppy than anything...)

your hands instantly cup against the roundness of his cheeks. though his baby-face had long since grown sharp, there's still just enough to pinch gently between loving fingers. "you'll always be my baby rin, my sweet boy..."

the boy only groans, large hands reaching to gently encircle your wrists. there's no real force exerting from him as he pushes your hands down against the pillow beside your head.

his knees dig into the plush of the couch on either side of your hips, allowing him to hover over you. turquoise eyes dart around every slope and valley of your face, memorizing what love looks like to him.

"i'm not a damn baby, and you know it..." his voice is gruff as he falls back onto you, pulling a soft 'oof' from your lungs. rin's fingers intertwine with yours, still keeping your hands down by your head.

he claims not to be a baby but he's just so damn soft when it comes to you, how could you not want to spoil him rotten?

thinking about rin having a girly girlfriend who's obsessed with adorable pastel-colored things .. he'd look so out of place inside your bedroom, it's filled with cute posters, mini and big figurines of sanrio and your favorite fictional characters, pastel colored clothes, and your bed has your beloved stuff toys at every corner.

his backpack would have cute keychains and plushies hanging on them, some were a gift from you and some are yours that you just wanted to him to have on his bag (your bag is heavy from all the keychains you have, plus there's no more space).

just imagine him looking intimidating and scary, but then you hear the loud clinking of pastel colored keychains hanging from his bag. he doesn't mind having them, sure it's a bit loud and distracting, but it prevents girls (and sometimes boys) from approaching, asking him for his number.

he calls it a repellent of some sorts.

and !!!! he also has a bracelet that you gave him, a pink colored one with an owl charm. if he has a clear phone case, then a polaroid photo of you (or the two of you) would definitely be in it. if not, he'd have a picture of you as his lockscreen, specifically a photo that you don't know about.

people who seem him for the first time in campus think “oh .. that guy definitely has a lover.”, and give up the motive of asking him for his name or number.

₊˚ପ⊹ SHIDOU walks around the apartment in sweatpants that hang incredibly low on his hips. your focus shifts from the pot of water you’re waiting to boil to ryusei as he pads into the kitchen after finishing his shower. beads of water drip from his hair onto his bare chest and roll down his tanned skin until they reach his v-line. you don’t realize the water on the stove has come to a boil until shidou clears his throat, jerking his head at the stove. “you’re staring real hard, pretty,” he drawls with a lazy grin. it only takes a few strides for him to close the gap between the two of you. his hands grip the counter on either side of you, trapping you in place as fuchsia eyes filled with mischief stare down at your figure. “something more you wanna see?”

₊˚ପ⊹ OLIVER intently stares at your lips whenever you’re talking. to be fair, each conversation starts with his eyes on yours but they always happen to drift down to your mouth. he takes in their natural pout and the subtle shine that your chapstick leaves behind on them. eventually, his mind begins to wander. he thinks about how soft they would feel sucking hickeys onto the pulse of his neck and across his collarbone or wrapped around the head of his—"are you even listening?“ you ask with crossed arms, the corners of your lips turnings down in a frown. "of course i am,” he tells you, finally dragging his gaze up to your eyes. “i just hear you better this way, that’s all.”

₊˚ପ⊹ REO puts his hands over yours every time you reach for your wallet to pay. he can feel the way your fingers wriggle beneath his palm, but he ignores the movement, intertwining his fingers with yours while he pulls out his card and hands it to the cashier. he’s got more money to his name than he knows what to do with, so it only makes sense for him to spoil you. he might smile and breathe out a laugh when you slap his shoulder and frown, sulking about how you feel bad for spending all his money, but he hears you. if you really feel like paying him back, he can think of a couple of ways you could do so—some that are better suited taking place in the bedroom.

₊˚ପ⊹ KAISER tilts your chin up with his finger whenever you refuse to look at him. it shouldn’t surprise you, seeing him offer fans smiles and hugs, but you can’t help but think about it when the two of you are taking your leave. “are you seriously mad?” he asks from beside you, and it wouldn’t have upset you if he didn’t laugh like it was unreasonable. you scoff and roll your eyes but before you’re able to make it any closer to the door, you’re being tugged back. all too suddenly, kaiser is in front of you, his hooked finger angling your head up and forcing you to meet his azure gaze. “you know i only have eyes for you, right?” he murmurs, like his words are meant for you and you alone. he’ll show you that his statement holds true when you get home.

₊˚ପ⊹ YUKIMIYA uses the bottom of his shirt to wipe away his sweat. on the occasion that you accompany him to a weekend practice or individual workout, you tend to look out for it. after the intense training when he’s cooling down, you watch attentively as he drags the hem of his shirt across his upper lip to collect the beads of perspiration. the motion leaves his abdomen exposed, putting the defined lines of his abs and the trail of dark hair peeking out from his shorts on display. your staring isn’t as discreet as you think it is but yukimiya doesn’t mind it. even after he catches you gawking, he keeps his shirt pulled up so as to not interrupt your view. when finally do look up at him, he’s peering at you over his glasses, tongue running along his lower lip.

itoshi rin is very, very much very obvious in his favoritism to you. so obvious that both his teammates and his brother told him to tone it down a little bit. of course, rin only scoffs and tell them to mind their own business (actually he said it more as ’fuck off, cretins’, but details). but, really, no one could exactly blame them. this guy could be in an ongoing tirade of how person a is an utterly pathetic soggy wet trash, then you greet him with a smile and he turns into a cold, suave, rich boyfriend in a snowy winter day. drape his jacket on you, hold your hand, let you hug him from behind while discreetly intertwining your finger with his type of stuffs. it’s a bit disgusting, honestly. and no one wants to start commenting on how he immediately looks at your direction after scoring a goal. also if he buys something, the only one who has the slightest bit of hope of ever receiving anything is his brother here—and that chance is very miniscule on its own since none of them are you. put simply, it’s a bit infuriating, yet undeniably infuriatingly cute in its own way to watch. especially when there is a very high chance you will be the one and only romance this anti social guy will ever have. everyone in the team supports the two of you, but by gods maybe please do something about him a little bit?

chigiri hyoma would never let anyone hurt you. it’s common knowledge already that he takes no shit from anyone and ever since he saw you as ‘the one’, he pretty much already thinks of you as an inseparable part of his life already. so, in other words, that means you have gotten yourself a boyfriend who is ready to became a biting guard dog at moments notice. someone insults you? tries to physically harms you? oh, baby, held your boyfriend back because he is also known to get angry real quick. save his reputation and held himself back from spouting words that would make someone’s ancestor cry or, worse, beat someone up. this is a speedster athlete trained by ego jinpachi himself—no one could escape unscathed from something like that. but hey, this is someone who naturally turns into a shoujo manga male lead with soft gazes and flowery smile the moment you put a hand on his cheek. this is, in a way, just another way for him to protect and make sure of your comfort. also, he needs to have an outlet for the less soft part somewhere other than soccer.

michael kaiser is very reliable and observant, despite whatever persona or deflection he will give you even in the ‘official already’ part of your relationship. this guy got a high ego and put on an air of someone high and mighty, beyond your league. but everyone all know if you got to the part where he proudly let you wore his clothes or make sure you stay pressed to his side during walks, he is down bad. still, for his sake and maybe everyone else’s, let him take care of you and act casual about it. don’t point it out when he suddenly crouch down and tie your untied shoelaces, keep talking as if nothing happened when he put a hand in the small of your back, and just act as if nothing happen when he gave someone a ferocious glare while making sure you cling unto his arm. don’t praise or, god forbid, swoon at those. it will only make him get flustered and lose his composure or, worse, get real annoying. he is indeed good at the whole act of service thing, surprisingly, but please do remember his attitude is indeed also in the ‘piece of shit’ category most of the time. just let the yellow and blue betta fish swim at his own pace and let what means to happen in the future, happen at its own time, including giving praises to him without him reacting like a lovesick brat.

next to you

“rin, is something wrong?” you look across the table at your boyfriend of 2 weeks. “…no,” he focuses on eating his cheesecake but the small pout on his lips says otherwise. “hey, you can tell me,” you say. “it’s nothing…” he trails off. 

you think he looks kind of cute like this, hesitant and embarrassed. but you aren’t able to help him if he keeps quiet like this. “i can’t help you if you don’t tell me what’s wrong, rin,” you gently nudge his leg with yours under the table. 

after another beat of silence, rin finally opens up. “the distance,” he says, “is too…far.” “what?” you ask, confused. “i…want to sit closer to you,” he mutters shyly, avoiding your gaze. “o-oh…” you stutter at his confession. “it’s stupid, i know,” rin pokes his cheesecake again. “no rin, that’s not stupid,” you smile, getting up from your seat. 

“hm?” he looks up at you with those wide teal eyes that make your heart palpitate. you round the table and plop down on the seat next to him. “happy?” you look over at rin whose cheeks have turned a pale pink. 

“closer,” he mumbles. you scoot a tiny bit closer to rin. “closer,” he voice comes out close to a whine at this point. “rin, we’re literally right next to each other,” you chuckle at his clinginess. rin gently grabs your arm and pulls you impossibly closer to him. you two end up so close that half your leg ends up resting on his chair. rin takes it a step further as he intertwines your hands together under the table. 

“there,” rin’s lips upturn slightly as he goes back to eating his cheesecake. cute, you think giddily as you go back to eating your dessert as well.

despite his hardened exterior, rin’s features are quite delicate. there’s a softness to his face, in his jaw and in his cheeks. he looks younger, more innocent, when his eyes are closed and there’s no tension tugging at his eyebrows. it’s a sight only you are warranted, one you get to see every time he lays his head in your lap and lets your fingers run through dark, silky strands of hair.

your eyes flit between his face and the tv — it’s playing a movie rin puts on often. you’re sure that even though his eyes are closed, he can envision everything he’s hearing. you can’t say the same for yourself, gaze fixated on rin’s relaxed expression rather than the screen ahead of you. the concentration of your stare reveals an imperfection on his otherwise flawless skin.

it’s a long, dark eyelash that has strayed from the rest and fallen to the plump of his cheek.

strange — how this is the first time you’ve seen this, considering how distinctly the hairs frame his eyes. you don’t ponder on it too long, choosing to, instead, reach down from the top of his head to his cheek so that you collect the eyelash on the pad of your finger. you can feel his skin slightly twitch beneath you but he makes no effort to open his eyes.

you almost feel bad disrupting his peaceful moment but, before you truly know what you’re doing, you call out his name. “rin.”

he hums and you can feel the low vibrations of it on your thighs. a second later he lets his eyelids flutter open, revealing aqua irises. they stare up at you, question and curiosity swimming within them.

“one of your eyelashes fell off,” you tell him, holding your pointer finger near his face. he can’t see it unless he looks to the side, but you don’t want to risk losing the tiny hair.

he doesn’t—look, that is—and keeps his gaze focused on you. “so?”

“so,” you pinch his cheek with your free hand as punishment for him being petulant, “you can make a wish on it.”

it’s something you did a lot in your childhood, at least whenever you had the chance. it’s a bit silly now, knowing that it’s simply a superstition, but a little piece of you holds onto that child-like hope that maybe wishes do come true.

rin must not share that optimism because his eyes drift shut as easily as they had earlier when he first got comfortable in your lap. though, the words he speaks next are enough to tell you that you aren’t being completely ignored. “you do it.”

“no way. your eyelash, your wish.” you poke his cheek this time in an attempt to get him to play along just this once.

it takes a little more of your prodding and some pleading for rin to open his eyes again. the subtle pinch between his brows conveys his exasperation but there’s no maliciousness in his expression. in fact, the sigh that pushes past his lips is closer to one of defeat than anything else. he really can’t say no to you. you must know it, too. “what am i supposed to wish for?”

you shrug but there’s a smile pulling at your lips, courtesy of rin’s agreement. “a pony, to be able to fly—whatever your heart desires.”

he snorts at your suggestions—the first two, at least. he takes the last one a bit more seriously because, even though he doesn’t believe in wishes coming true, there is something that he desperately wants and he’ll do everything he can to make it a reality; even wishing on a meaningless eyelash.

“okay, i’ve got my wish.” he blinks up at you. “what now?”

“blow the eyelash off my finger,” you direct him, gently wiggling your finger to get his attention. he turns his head to the side and is greeted with your outstretched pointer. sure enough, there’s a small, dark hair sitting atop your unique print. 

rin doesn’t waste any time blowing a cool stream of air that sends the eyelash flying. he can’t follow its path but it surely ends up somewhere on the living room floor. with it out of his sight, rin returns to his former position, letting his eyes fall shut before he nudges your hand in a silent gesture for you to pick up where you left off playing with his hair.

you do as he wishes and run your fingers through his locks, lightly scratching his scalp with your nails. the peaceful look you’ve grown accustomed to is back and its appearance puts a small smile on your face.

you’re sure it’s because you’ve started toying with his hair again, but the tranquility painted over rin’s features has to do with something else this time — a promise he’s made to himself that, regardless of a wish, he’s going to spend as many nights as possible like this, with you.

you squealed excitedly as you waved your results in his face.

“what’s this computer test about about again..?” rin mumbled, his eyes scanned through the sheet of paper.

“for my driver’s license! that way you don’t have to drive me around anymore!” you said proudly, puffing out your chest.

rin gave you a small smile but frowned right after as he realized that he can’t drive you around as his passenger princess anymore.

you of course were quick enough to noticed his sudden change in demenour. flicking his forehead gently, you asked:

“something wrong?”

“nothing..”

“tell me.”

rin huffed slightly, brushing out his bangs from his eyes. he took a quick glance at you, taking in how adorable you were in your outfit today.

“since you’re gonna be able to drive soon, guess you won’t be my passenger princess anymore.” he said quietly as he looks away, avoiding your gaze.

you exploded with laughter. rin wasn’t the type to be really showing off his emotions but hearing what he confessed, you couldn’t help but chuckle. his cheeks felt hot at you laughing as he flicks your forehead with a grumble.

“shut up or i won’t drive you home.” he walked away and entered the driver’s seat of his car as you hurriedly sat on passenger’s seat, still laughing over his poutyness.

a bright smile adorns your face upon hearing the employee's query. securing a table feels fortunate; it's not always easy on weekends, after all.

"alright, let me ask my husband first," you say to the phone and raising your eyebrows in silent expectation, demanding for his response.

⌗MICHAEL — the second that word comes off your lips, best believe michael is already grinning like an idiot.

him, your husband? seriously?

he never thinks too deeply about marriage—though he does want to tie the knot with you when the time's right—but he loves how endearing it sounds when you call him that. there's a mischievous glint in his sapphire eyes before he moves closer to your body.

"her husband says yes."

being the menace he is, he announces directly to the speaker, loud and clear, earning soft giggles from you.

"do you hear me? her husband—"

you cut him off and quickly apologize to the poor employee, all while suppressing the laugh that threatened to spill out of your mouth. he will tease you about this for the rest of the evening, and you will spend hours caged between his tattooed arms, listening to him yapping about his dream wedding. not that you complained.

⌗RIN — convinces himself he maintained his facade well, but the subtle dusting of red on his cheeks betrays him. he's unable to focus on the tv screen because did you really refer to him like that without warning?

realizing you're still waiting for his answer, rin fakes a cough to even his tone and mutters, "fine," loud enough for the employee on the other side to hear.

immediately shoots you a questioning glare after you hang up. he tries to act unaffected (which he fails miserably) and asks, "what was that?"

"what was what?" you playfully hum.

"you did that on purpose."

"i don't know what you're talking about, baby."

the slight pout on his lips amuses you more than you want to admit. he hides his burning face in the crook of your neck, mumbling something you can't pinpoint.

when you chuckle at his sudden clinginess, he looks up to you with those big, sparkling round eyes that remind you of his younger self. he's going to wife you up someday.

⌗REO — you know damn well reo's sickeningly in love with you, and somehow you think it's okay to casually address him as ‘my husband’? are you trying to make him explode?

the tv show is long forgotten and he's all over you in an instant, giving you a bone-crushing hug along with a sweet, dopey smile that you adore so much. you can whine and say it's just a prank, but it's too late to take it back. he already envisions the whole wedding thing.

"whatever my wifey wants," he speaks to the phone, all giddy and lovestruck. "rent the entire restaurant if you want, wifey. or buy it. or don't. actually, i'll just build you one."

before his rambling causes the employee even more confusion, you shut him up with a kiss and proceed to finish the reservation.

you sigh in mock annoyance, reaching your clean fingers to adjust the frog headband sitting on his hairline.

“do you do this everyday?” he tilts his head, squinting his eyes when you continue rubbing the product on his cheeks.

you hum in agreement, “its a way of taking care of your skin. you know, getting it to clear up.”

“my skin’s just fine. i just wash it with soap and not this — ‘hydrating cleanser’ stuff,” he rolls his eyes, using his fingers to air quote.

“how the hell do you have such nice skin when you wash it with hand soap?” you deadpan.

“genetics? i don’t really know,” he shrugs, wrapping his arms around your waist and leaning into your gentle touch.

you hum. “ok, go wash this off,” you trail off, turning your back and grabbing the masks and serums. “so we can start with these!” you beam.

his eyebrow twitches.

“what’s that for?” he cocks a brow, pointing at the small package on your lap. “you’ll see in a sec,” you smile, tearing it open.

walking over, you adjust his cute sanrio headband again before gently placing the face mask on his face. he shivers but before he could open his mouth to complain or make some sassy quip, you slap a lip mask on his face.

that was 30 minutes ago.

now you’re stuck on the floor with a sleepy man twice your size, quite literally squeezing the life out of you.

“babe, we were supposed to take the masks off like 10 minutes ago,” you sighed, patting his head. you hear him grumble, mumbling incoherently.

“i’ll do it then, stay still,” you smiled softly, reaching for your mask and then his masks. “tilt your head back a bit.” he complies and you reach for the serum bottles.

applying a small drop of serum on his forehead and cheeks, you take notice of how his eyebrows furrow slightly at the cold liquid.

“it’s a lil cold,” you chuckle, kissing his forehead before spreading the serum all over his face.

he hums sleepily, voice breaking softly as his eyes flutter close.

it’s quiet for a while, before..

SLAP!

“oww!” he yelps, eyes flying open as he sits up hastily. “why are you slapping me?” he manages to get out in between slaps. you hum, “it helps your skin to absorb the product better.”

he side eyes you.

you hear him groan. ignoring it, you continue with your skincare routine. “ugh!” he groans, way louder and more exaggerated. you feel your eyebrow twitch.

by the time you chose to stop ignoring his whining, he’d already kicked the blankets off the bed.

“what do you want? i already finished your skincare so just go to bed,” you sigh, reaching for your eye cream.

“yea but when are you gonna finish?” he asks softly. ‘i can’t sleep without you.’

you smile at him through the vanity mirror.

“baby, just one more thing alright?” the sleeping mask you reach for clatters on the table softly. “five more minutes. can you wait for me, hon?”

he hums tiredly, standing up and making his way behind you.

he kneels down, wrapping his arms gently but securely around your waist and rests his head on your back. “hurry up, w’na hold you so bad.”

your heart flutters and your movements stutter. you gulp, patting the product into your pink cheeks.

you both slept horribly that night since he fell asleep holding you and you couldn’t drag his heavy ass to bed.
