maybe I'm just on my period, but feeling WILDY emotional about the little plant in Wall-E. it's a pea plant. He found in the fridge. And they never say it's a pea plant, but it is. And when I first watched it, I didn't recognize it, never even thought about it. Now that I've grown a few gardens, I just wanna cry.

Pea plants are so good. They're completely edible, first off. Pea sprouts are considered wildly nutritional and ppl grow them as microgreens all the time. The whole plant. Eat em up.

They sprout within DAYS! Like three days!! The seeds last for ages since they're so big and dry out and don't rot. Just need a little water and sunlight and you can wake up peas that are ages old.

And there's something so cute about pea plants? They grip things? They almost fucking hold your hand? i'm not kidding??

So this little thing. this little pea. Forgotten in the bottom of a fridge. Probably the floor rotted out. There it sat. And with just a little bit of dirt. And a little bit of water. And just the tiniest bit of sunlight. This little pea woke up. And it can't be more than a week old. Of all the fridges, of all the world. This is the one Wall-E opens. This little survivor. This little pea.

I'm literally crying again, hahaha omfg.
