Their claws are retractable so that they can walk silently while keeping their nails sharp Also the tail fans!!! I like to think Pantala and Phyrria's residents evolved from similar ancestors So instead of full wings Phyrria's dragons have tail fans to steer (and Pantala has a more insect like flying style- minus leafwings) Also less scales and more color patterns.
