13ft Hybrid Deluxe Stargazer Lotus Belle Tent
Blue Bohemian | $2,700
Accessories:
Jute mat. $525. It's a floor.
Banana bag. $120. Makes it easier to set up.
Decorative mat. $150. Makes the floor prettier.
Lotus room cocoon. $320. Makes the walls prettier and acts as insulation.
Roof cover. $140. When parked directly under trees this will protect your roof. There are replacement roofs available but they are pricey.
This tent as fascinated me for almost a decade. It's pricey though so I haven't bought it yet. I love it because it's largely plastic-free, it looks like an adorable garlic, and most importantly it has standing head room throughout the space inside. Not to mention it has insulation layers you can by for more readily camping all year round.
The 13ft model pales in comparison to the newly released 20ft model in terms of space, and it doesn't have the ease of setup that the newly released, and cheaper, inflatable 10ft model has, but it has a lot of plusses.
It's cheap compared to the 20ft model.
It has the stargazer roof unlike the 10ft model.
It's more durable compared to the 10ft model.
It has access to all accessories unlike the 10ft/20ft models.
It has full standing headroom unlike the 10ft model.
There's also the tried and true 16ft model, but the extra cost, bulk, and higher demand, meaning more accessories are sold out, leaves me to think for glamping, as opposed to a nomadic living situation, we would best be served by the 13ft model.
For those looking for a nomadic living situation you might also look into Nomad Shelter, an Alaskan company that builds truly portable yurts, with great insulation meant to hold up to Alaskan winters that doesn't make use of wool or other animal products.
