in norse mythology, there are two wolves—sköll and hati—who chase mani (the moon) and sol (the sun) through the sky in hopes to devour them. at ragnarök, they finally catch their prey. according to one other version of the myth, it is the wolf fenrir who devours the sun.

team strq already has norse mythology allusions (raven and qrow are huginn and muninn), so if grimm!summer is real and intended to be a version of big bad wolf, well...
