Woah sorry for the late reply for some reason Tumblr didn't notify that I had so many asks! I don't usually get any so I'm not in the habit of checking either. Again sorry for the wait.

Anyway scripting straight up doesn't work for me but I'm pretty well verse in these things regardless cuz I mean I've been shifting for 4 years just about. Keeping this one sfw cuz idk how old you are. Might add more to this if I think of more.

I personally would suggest scripting...

In:

Scenarios that you for certain want to happen

plot armor/protag luck

any powers you'd like to have

any skills you want to have(Unless you learn it naturally over there you won't bring it back)

If you're in classes, that you have good grades

what your parents/home life is like

if you really feel like it your backstory (Written like you're telling actual events you've already experienced)

charisma

courage (Cuz where we go we need it (￣y▽,￣)╭ )

age adjustments(College DRs, Aging down characters to be your age, aging yourself up or down, etc)

romantic interest/plotlines (if you're into that)

you always smell good

You only have to go to the bathroom at convenient times

(If you're a flesh eater in a DR) You're built different and don't have to eat people

scene appropriate background music (You get your little anime moment (╯▽╰ ) )

Out:

Romantic rivals

bringing back trauma

character deaths

undesirable plotlines, behaviors, plot devices, etc

(If theres a mind reader present) Can't read your thoughts/memories. Rick Roll them

If you don't like the crimes script that out too(Murder, arson, theft, etc)

cheating

Keep in mind a lot of these would change the plot significantly and you are probably gonna run into quite a few unexpected things. So just be prepared for those significant changes.

I myself have shifted a few times to parallel realities, but have yet to shift to twst, so do excuse my curiosity for the boys, I just cant help but miss them.

I wanted to ask how it is with gender on campus. In your reply to my last ask you mentioned briefly that you are refered to as "she".

Did the students assume so or did you tell them to refer to you as she? As a girlie, I am unsure whether I would want to tell everyone that Im a girl or just pretend that Im not :') And side-question, how long do you think I would be able to pretend without getting discovered lol?

Anyway Gender on campus is really funny for me personally because I'm genderfluid so it really depend who you're asking. The general consensus on campus is just calling me they/them I just kinda type like that cuz its what I'm used to lol. They're chill with it even on my hyper fem day. It's really funny because Leona somehow always knows the gender of the day even though I've never told anyone my state of gender.

The student body mostly assumes I'm some brand of trans masc since "all boys school" and they're mostly right but it still cracks me up cuz most of the time people assume I'm just straight up a girl cuz of how my body is built 😭

Like yeah there are those select few who assume but they're the minority in this situation

Jokes aside if you want to hide your femininity all you gotta do is hide your boobs (Optional if you're part of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee) and your curves. You'd probably be able to get away with that for a few weeks to a few months. If you're lucky they'll just assume you're a very effeminate man lol

I might have some tips to sounding and looking more masc in your movements and how you talk if you want them.

uhhh i aint a professional when it comes to beastmen but wouldnt they like.....sniff out whether someones a man or a woman? i mean for example like.....if someones on their period and a beastman smelt the blood i dont think they would just forget about it.....or do they just not care? what are your experiences with this? or did you not have to encounter this issue?

They don’t care they’ve literally never questioned me 💀 they definitely can smell whether you’re AFAB or AMAB but like being born one way doesn’t necessarily equate to your gender so like yeah. Maybe that’s why they don’t question it

OH YEAH- THE SHIFT

I had a lucid dream after so long! I did not even consider shifting, however, I was jokingly like "Wouldn't it be funny if I woke up somewhere that isn't my bed?" and when I opened my eyes, I was in Ramshackle!! Likely because I've been thinking about twst for weeks. I panicked and blinked and was back here, but that is a huge acchievement for me, considering that I never woke up in a reality that isn't almost exactly like this one! So that's exciting! I will keep you updated on my progress :) <3

I agree. Like I know not a lot of shifters want to talk about how fucked shit can get but like it gets scary out there and I feel like it’s so irresponsible to pretend it’s all glitz and glamor.

Like genuinely I feel like a lot of people don’t understand just how real it is. Like obviously it’s as real as ours but it’s a really difficult thing to fully comprehend until you’ve actually done it. I worry so much for people shifting to places like Attack on Titan. Like are you prepared to see your friends get eaten alive in front of you. “Oh I knew that they were gonna die so I’ll be fine” these are real people you’re going to be in close proximity with you’re most likely going to get attached to in some capacity and even if you’re not it’s difficult to watch people die in front of you. And that goes for anywhere with any kind of violence. In Demon Slayer I almost threw up hearing and smelling demons, humans being devoured, etc. and it’s going to stick with me forever. I might not always think about it but when I do it fucks with me. The violence I’ve been forced to commit on other people because my life was on the line in most of my DRs fucks with me too.

I feel like we should talk about it more and we just don’t and it’s really upsetting cuz now I feel like I’m crazy for being so shaken about it, or being devastated by a friend’s death. Why should I feel weird for not being over the fact I was fucking strangled. Idk it just upset me that everyone wants to act like it’s got no flaws

There’s definitely more that I’m just not remembering but yeah. You don’t have to shift to realities based in a universe that’s fictional in this reality. You can also just shift to parallel realities that are based in a universe that follows the rules we have here in our current reality. It’s not just going to our favorite stories but it’s really fun to do imo. It comes with its bullshit as does ours but still.

I have heard of Reverse 1999 actually! I have some friends who talk about it. Idk if they’re shifting there but if they are they’re definitely dragging me there too 😭
