Does anyone else come across someone portraying Harvey as confident and just be like… that’s not my doctor?

He is a ball of crippling anxiety in everything but the workplace (and even then he’s still anxious) and I think people who believe he’s socially confident fundamentally misunderstand him as a character?

Would he say pick up lines? Yes, but they’re either corny as hell or heavily ambiguous and the corny ones only ever occur when you’re dating. An example of the ambiguous one would be his famous ‘come to me if you ever need a confidential check-up’. Like, you know he’s saying that with sweat running down his face as red as a tomato and he immediately turns around and leaves upon saying it

No offence to the writers out there write however you want, but he is fundamentally an anxious man.

yeahhhh lol all I’m saying is that Harvey is quoted to be ‘really anxious and weak’ like that’s what’s brought to the farmer’s attention as his faults. and his redeeming qualities? loyal and devoted. not suave or brimming with a secret confidence he’s certainly capable of being more ‘blunt’ with his feelings can even say things that come off flirtatious much like said so in this post! but at his core he is a nervous man who only can summon enough courage to be ambiguous with his flirting or he’s just more being Honest than purposely forward and trying to fluster you it comes across as proof of Harvey’s devotion rather than his capability to be smoothly charming he’s simply not the sort of man who can be Super Super Forward. in my humble opinion! again… not to say he can’t initiate anything!!! but he’s not truly Bold or anything having said all that— just expressing my opinion!!! all love and respect to those who interpret Harvey differently! just remember his anxious core! sdv harvey harvey text callisto favs
