The world is full of people who live with their regrets. But Harrison Osterfield had to live with it, face to face, every day, in the same house. 

It was two years ago now, when Tom and Harrison met you. Tom can’t quite recall what the event was, a party or an award show or something. It was something to do with a club, because he remembers Harrison coming back from the bar to their table–with a moonstruck look in his eyes. 

“Tom,” he said to him, voice drowned by the base, “Tom, I just met my wife.”
