Been thinking about the SoW AU, because I wasn’t initially going to have Nefarian present but now I’m thinking it would be cool to have him there.

Like, I’m imagining what happens is he’s around and does stuff, but gets horribly injured in a fight at some point and has to spend a portion of the AU half-dead in a shelter somewhere. Injured as in missing limbs, plural. And Tanith, Dexter, and Saracen would have to keep him from dying (and would have a huge debate about whether or not they should put in the effort to save him). Skulduggery can still cut off his hand out of paranoia when they meet back up with him because Skulduggery lost the controlling stone.

But most importantly, he’d also lose his eye in a fight too, and Valkyrie wouldn’t know enough about the construction of eyes to properly fix it when they get back so he’d just…have an eyepatch. That would be pretty cool, I think.
