My friend's reading the series and they started running this idea by me about how Lord Vile is a magic sugar baby while the Faceless Ones are the magic sugar daddies.

And then when Lord Vile disappears and Skulduggery's back, he acts as a father figure for Valkyrie - mind you, when I say father figure, I don't mean him being a "daddy".

SO! Now my friend's on book 6, Death Bringer, and the summary said "Lord Vile is on the loose" AND YOU KNOW WHAT MY FRIEND SAID?

Friend: The slut is loose.

Me: WHAT DID YOU SAY?

CRYING SHITTING VOMITING

Skulduggery Pleasant was one of the first characters I ever created art for. It was also the first time I posted my art online, shamelessly tagging the author on Twitter because I was so proud of it.

In short, it’s partly thanks to this book series that I am posting my art online nowadays, so it seemed fair to do a little something to say thank you!

Since I now work full-time as a concept artist for video games, the character concept art format seemed fitting. :D

i’ve just finished reading skulduggery pleasant until the end and this is hands down funky town the best scene in the entirety of phase 2 for me

I’ve said it a billion times and I will say it a billion times more and then some: I really don’t think any other book series can make me fall in love as much as Skulduggery Pleasant can. 

Huge thank you to the skeleton committee and others on twitter, and to Fin, especially, for the beautiful character art.

I’m happy to say that I’ve ruined a lot of lives by introducing people to this series. They get hooked, and they get hooked fast. Each of them thanks me profusely, whilst punching me in the face and crying. I’ve never met a single person who hasn’t loved this series with every inch of their being.

So, we all know how skulduggery's consciousness is how he feels and stuff and how it surrounds his whole body. So having that in mind then can he hear from anywhere on his body, say, his leg or is it just his skull? And why can he not smell and hear that just came to me as I typed

a fun way to think of ur ocs as species. specifically, i keep making sub-species to fit into fandoms, example [enter normal, human oc] oh wait i'd love to make this thing be a skulduggery pleasant creature but i can't change it.. [enter the human oc subspecies, who now is an elemental who desperately wants to be a mermaid and focuses all their time on water magic] yeah thats right!! you slay sub-species!! also calling them creatures/specimens in a lab is really fun.
