And when I say half the fandom only brings up Ango in order to bash any other friend dynamic Dazai has and very rarely consider him amongst Dazai's closest friends unless he is shoved in as the friend nobody likes in the buraiha trio or as Oda's love interest I mean it. Cause I rarely see takes about Ango and Dazai's very complex, tragic and interesting dynamic. Its almost always to bash someone and even then Ango is only presented as the detachable part of the buraiha trio.

I don't like to like. trash on peoples interpretations of characters because I believe that people should be able to form their own opinions
but I love Ango
and I get a little sad whenever people are like 'oh he's a terrible person who Dazai hates and only used the Buraiha for the Mimic plot'
