It's so sad people get away from bsd because of negativity inside the fandom, there is a real issue with this. Not everyone needs to complain about some characters or send death threats to studio Bones (please don't) in order to be a part of it. Just like you don't need to talk to everyone and share their very same ideas to exist as yourself.

That's fine if you like some weird ship that nobody talks about. That's fine if you prefer the anime or the manga. That's fine if you don't like angst (or fluff on the opposite) like some other people. That's fine if your favorite character is Kaji. That's fine if you don't want to call your favs "pathetic". That's fine if you don't like something that everyone likes and vice-versa. And that's perfectly fine if you're not as viscerally passionate about it as some others are. Bsd is still (at least to me) an amazing story with a lot of very interesting characters but if you're not that attracted to it, that's okay. Not everyone share the same interests after all.

As long as you're enjoying what you are doing or seeing, it is all that matters.

Also, with this combined with the fact that Ranpo knew Akutagawa was waiting to be summoned with a smoke flare like a pokemon, I am now convinced that it's not just Dazai, Ranpo also ships shin soukoku.

Also, the rest of the ADA suffering because they hired the wet cat mafia member who decided to just press pause on his redemption arc once he (mostly) stopped being a criminal.

1.) a lot of people say chuuya should also have braces but i’ve summarized that chuuya would simply have perfect teeth from the get go and would not need braces. he wears glasses though, periodically

2.) for a long period of time dazai refused to give orders to his subordinates directly because it would have required him to open his mouth so he had chuuya do it for him. he had to pay a small fee for this though ( i.e for every favour chuuya did, dazai would have to smile for a picture. thats why chuuya has so many of them )

3.) present dazai will outright refuse to admit that his perfect smile was from braces. he says it was all genetic. if chuuya is in the vicinity of him saying this he will do everything in his power to silence him

Okay but imagine Ango. Realising that time isn't stopping, and now Dazai is well, and truly alone. Seeing Dazai's heartbeat, fall into extreme highs and then lows. Tracing them out, knowing that you know one thing that Dazai doesn't, and that is that he is human.

Imagine thinking of the boy shouting about how infuriating his partner was over expensive whisky that he didn't even like. Imagine him realising Chuuya was here, and the double beat of his heart. Taking note of that, because maybe you'll have the chance to tease him, when this nightmare is over and the two of you have something other than a ghost between you.

The beat going faster and faster, louder and louder. 'Pain' you think. 'Oxygen deprivation'. 'Injury'.

It goes silent.
