Stranger Things 3 and The Summer of Love

What if when the Duffer Brothers are talking about Stranger Things 3 being “the summer of love” they aren’t actually talking about shipping but rather implying that there might be flashbacks set in the summer of 1967, also known as The Summer of Love. During this period of time young people became suspicious of the government and LSD was in heavy use. Of course LSD was used in the MKUltra program spearheaded by Dr. Brenner and the Hawkins National Laboratory to expand the mind and create psychokinetic powers.

I’m sort of upset that the first Stranger Things Lego set isn’t the lab because it’s the building with the most interesting exterior design.
